  • About me

as i've mentioned before, i went to singapore couple months ago, that's why i need several sample size or travel size items. one of them is moisturizer. i bought the avoskin tranexamic one and i quite fond of it, but i've heard that the aqua ceramide is good as well, so of course i'm interested. plus, after i bought the tranexamic one, they release smaller size one, so it's perfect for traveling.

this is the description translated from their website: water based moisturizer with lightweight gel texture and easily absorbed. aside from maintaining skin moisture, this moisturizer which has the combination of aqua ceramide, multi probiome, and hyaluronic acid, is effective to treat dry skin and dehydration. aqua ceramide inside is proven clinically to help maintain moisture longer, treat skin barrier and acts as anti-inflammation and anti-irritation.
the box
the packaging: it comes in a turquoise box with description on the side and at the back as well as ingredients list. the seal both the upper and lower part of the box with sticker, regular at the bottom and hologram on top. the moisturizer itself comes in the same color plastic tub with screw cap. there's another plastic cover inside with tiny spatula on top of it. however, i think that the spatula is too small. perhaps they should just ditch the spatula as it's really hard to pick up the product with it. maybe they should try changing the packaging to squeeze tube for sample size for easier use. anyway, the size of the sample size is 15 ml, which is half the size of regular moisturizer so it's quite decent for sample size.
the tub
the scent: this one is scentless without any funky smell from the ingredients.
the plastic lid and mini spatula
the product: this is a snow white gel type moisturizer. it's quite viscous and slightly stringy. just a tiny bit. it spreads around easily but it doesn't sink that quick. it isn't that watery type one, so it takes a minute or two before it's completely absorbed.
how it looks like on my hand
the result: it's really lightweight but very hydrating. compared to the tranexamic one, this is lighter thus a little less moisturizing.
after blending it
this is my favorite between two avoskin moisturizer that i've tried. it's lightweight but still enough for daytime. especially during hot and humid weather, like singapore. i think it's suitable for combination to oily skin. price wise, the travel size is quite affordable while the full size one is slightly more expensive than the ones from other brand but it's understandable if you've seen the packaging. anyway, the availability for the moisturizer is better than the serums, so it's easier to get than the serum ones. if you're not sure which one to get among all four, you can buy the sample size to try it first. as for me, i want to try the other two before deciding which one is best for me.

i bought a lot of stuff when i was about to travel. last time i still had a mini sunscreen in my stash that i used during my europe trip, so i had to find another mini to bring with me during my singapore trip. anyway, i had my eyes on somethinc sunscreens and originally i wanted to try the sunstick one, but i still have a sunstick in my stash, so i decided to buy the newly released sunscreen gel. let's see how it goes.

this is the description from their website: 5-in-1 cooling aqua protection. sunscreen gel with SPF 50+ PA ++++ and encapsulated UV filter technology that provides maximum protection from UVA and UVB rays. it gives protection against pollution, blue light and infra red that help prevent signs of aging. with snowflake molecules to serve a cooling sensation and absorb into your skin like water. all day comfort, alcohol-free, non sticky, no white cast! easy peasy and no more reason to hate sunscreen.
powered with:
-sunflower sprout and tara spinosa: an award-winning ingredients that contains powerful antioxidants, with organic sunflower sprouts that efficiently provide 3 in 1 protection from infrared, blue light and pollution. this combination can neutralize free radicals to prevent premature aging.
- encapsulated uv filter: consist of 3 types of organic uv filter namely avobenzone, OMC and OTC which are designed with encapsulated techniques to produce stable chemical sunscreen and does not irritates the skin.
the tube
the packaging: the mini comes in a bright yellow/orange/blue plastic squeeze tube. i think they seal the tube with plastic when it first came, but i completely forgot about it. anyway, the full size one is similar in terms of design, but the shape is a bit different. there are 3 sizes available, 5 gr, 15 gr and 30 gr. usually sunscreens comes in 30-50 gr, so this one is the tiniest one, 5 gr. it lasts for a week and more since i only use this in the morning. i use other sunscreen for reapplying so don't worry about it.
description at the back
the scent: there's no added fragrance in this sunscreen, but you know.. they have that usual sunscreen scent but it's very subtle.
the spout to dispense the product
the product: the sunscreen is white gel type sunscreen that's a bit thick compared to several previous sunscreens that i used before this one. in comparison, biore water gel and skin aqua one are runnier. it feels similar to canmake that i finished just now. however, even though this is a bit thick, it spreads around easily. it takes quite some time for it to settle down though. they say that this has cooling sensation. compared to the biore cool that i've tried before, this one doesn't feel cooling at all. however, i feel this a bit cooling when i use it to reapply around noon. but that's just once.
how it looks like on my hand
the result: as for protecting properties, it works well. i don't suffer any sunburn even though it was scorching hot in singapore. it dries down semi matte, so even if you're oily skin, this hold well. on me it doesn't leave white cast, but i'm pretty fair to start with, so please look for review from tanner skin reviewer to be sure.

all in all, i have to say that i like this one. it's lightweight and holds well under hot weather. price wise it's very affordable and somethinc often holds sale, so just wait for sale. availability is also very good, since somethinc is widely available everywhere now. i'd definitely repurchase this in full size once i've finished all my stash. i'd also like to try their sun mist and sun stick as well. they look interesting as well.
lately i noticed that my skin reacts better to certain actives, so i decided to maintain those actives in my skincare routine. i can see that my skin doesn't react positively toward niacinamide, especially if it's the main ingredient, so i decided not to try any niacinamide serums anymore. that's why i only resorted to vitamin c serum for brightening and antioxidant. however, somehow after my last streaks of vitamin c serums, i sort of lost interest in them for awhile. that's why when i see nama c booster serum, i decided to give it a go. later i found out that nama beauty is owned by luna maya. i have to admit that i'm surprised to see a celebrity owned this brand. anyway, let's see how it goes.

this is the description from their website: c-booster face serum is a multi-function brightening and age-defying serum. its main ingredient is kakadu extract with 100x higher vitamin c to brighten the skin more efficiently and could work as an anti-aging. best part? the water-gel based texture can hydrate to the skin's deepest layer.
the box
ingredients list and the description on the box
the packaging: it comes in white box with the brand name embossed at front. there's description at the back in both english and indonesian, as well as the ingredients list. the serum itself comes in frosted glass bottle that's completely see through so i can see the remaining product inside. it uses dropper to dispense the product and i don't have any problem with the dropper aside from the usual problem that it can't get everything until it's completely empty. the serum comes in 30 ml size which is the same size as other usual serum, but bigger than other local brand's serum.
sticker seal on top and bottom of the box
the bottle
the scent: this one is scentless and doesn't have any foul scent.
how it looks like inside the dropper
the product: it's a transparent gel type and it's quite viscous. but it's still easy to spread around. it melts once i spread it around but it takes a minute or two to be completely absorbed. it's quite interesting that to see that this serum comes in transparent bottle. but, until i finish it all, the serum is still in its original state, no oxidizing whatsoever.
left: how it looks like on my hand
right: after blending it around
the result: i have to say i can feel this one is moisturizing right of bat. not too heavy but just enough. there's a bit tacky feeling right afterward, but it layers well under and over other skincare products that i use. after using it for awhile, i notice that it evens out my skin tone and it looks brightened. not tone up my skin, but just brighten the complexion in general.

i have to say i'm hooked. but.. this doesn't contain any actives, so it might not give significant result. that's why i will go back to try other vitamin c serum. but this one is a good alternative if you just want to evens out and brighten up your whole complexion. and not treat any dark spots or other significant problem. price wise, considering the size, it's still affordable. however, it's not widely available everywhere, so if you see it, just grab it.
as i've already said in other post, i bought the set to be used during transit and on the plane as the set is tiny so i can slip it into my bag. even though i don't have dry skin, i thought it would be drying on the plane so i bought the hydralive one. let's see how it goes.

this is the description from their website: a facial moisturizer for dry and dehydrated skin. provides moisture in every layer of the skin and keep skin youthfulness. formulated with 8 layer HA, triple ceramide, cucumber and rice water.
key ingredients:
- 8 layers of hyaluronic acid: 8 different HA molecule that can provide and lock skin moisture in every layer of the skin to the outermost layer.
- triple ceramide: maintain skin barrier balance and strengthen skin barrier, helps prevent premature aging, reduce skin sensitivity.
- cucumber: help reducing skin irritation and moisturize the skin.
- rice water: helps brighten the skin and disguises dark spot.

ingredients list: Oryza Sativa (Seed) Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Polyacrylamide, Butylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Stearyl Alcohol, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Hypnea Musciformis Extract, Ammonium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate, Phenoxyethanol, Cucumis Sativus Extract, Sargassum Filipendula Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sorbitol, Butylated Hydroxy Toluene, Laureth-7, Sodium Hyaluronate, Titanium Dioxide, Gelidiella Acerosa Extract, Glycerin, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Spirulina Platensis Extract, T-Butyl Alcohol, Ceramide NP, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Ceramide AP, Phytosphingosine, Cholesterol, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate, Potassium Hyaluronate, Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Peg-9 Diglycidyl Ether/Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Ceramide EOP

this set included:
- hydralive+ moisture lock gel cleanser 5 ml
- hydralive+ moisture lock skin drink essence 5 ml
- hydralive+ moisture lock serum 5 ml
- hydralive+ moisture lock everyday moisturizer 5 ml

the packaging: it comes in a jelly pouch the the name of the set at front. the font is the same color as the whole set as they color coded according to the type of the set. for hydralive it's dark blue, which is similar to maintain (light blue). the moisturizer itself comes in greyish plastic tube with screw cap. ingredients list are printed at the back and it comes in 5 ml size. it's very tiny but since i only need a little for my whole face and neck, i can use it up to 3 times.
the packaging
the scent: just like the maintain one, this one is unscented but if i whiff really close, i can smell something but it's very subtle. maybe it's just because of the ingredients since it doesn't have any fragrance added.
all the stuff in the set
the product: the moisturizer is slightly bluish in color. it's a gel type moisturizer that's similar to the maintain one. this one definitely contains more hydrating and moisturizing ingredients.
the tube
the result: i have to compare it to the maintain one as that one is targeted for normal skin while this one is for dry skin. i have to say that compared them back to back, the maintain one is more moisturizing that the hydralive one. both are lightweight but for me this one is suitable for daytime only.
left: how it looks like on my skin
right: after blending it around
i have to say that this one is suitable for normal to combination skin rather than dry skin. for me, it's okay for daytime, but won't be enough for night time. however, compared to other gel moisturizer that i used during the day, this one is the heaviest, thus i might not get the full size one as i like my other moisturizer better. anyway, price wise is affordable and this one is quite decent. and it's beginner friendly as you just need to find out your skin type and there's a whole routine to follow so it's easier if you're confused about where to start. but you can also buy them separately if you want. as for me, i won't repurchase the full size just because of preference, not because this stuff is bad.
i bought this in a set before i went to europe. i knew well that glowincpotion travel set is tiny, so i knew that i wouldn't be enough for two weeks. but both my flight stopped in turkey, so i figured i needed something smaller in my bag so i can use it during my transit or while on the plane. anyway, at first i bought the hydralive and the forever one because i thought it would be drying on the plane, but they sent me the maintain one. since i didn't have the time to send them back to switch with the correct one, i decided to just buy the forever in another order. anyway, let's check the moisturizer from this set.

this is the description from their website: a facial moisturizer for normal skin that moisturize and nourish skin. formulated with triple ceramide, hyaluronic acid, glutathione, and acetyl hexapeptide-8.
key ingredients:
- triple ceramide: maintain skin barrier balance and strengthen skin barrier, helps prevent premature aging, reduce skin sensitivity.
- hyaluronic acid: help moisturizes and hydrates the skin.
- glutathione: clinically proven to help brighten the skin in 30 days.
- acetyl hexapeptide-8: helps with collagen production to retain firm and supple skin.

ingredients list: Terminalia Ferdinandiana Fruit Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Polyacrylamide, Butylene Glycol, Glutathione, Stearyl Alcohol, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Ammonium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate, Phenoxyethanol, Butyl Hydroxy Toluene, Laureth-7, Titanium Dioxide, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, 1,2-Hexanediol, T-Butyl Alcohol, Ceramide NP, Ceramide AP, Phytosphingosine, Sodium Benzoate, Cholesterol, Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Ceramide EOP.
the packaging
items in the travel set:
- nutrient skin pH balancer cleanser 5 ml
- nutrient skin essence toner 5 ml
- nutrient skin serum 5 ml
- nutrient skin everyday moisturizer 5 ml

the packaging: it comes in a jelly pouch with zipper to secure all the stuff included in the set. there's a big label at front so you know which type of set that you get. it's also written in the same color as the the rest of the set. for maintain, the font is light blue as they color coded the type. the moisturizer itself comes in greyish squeeze tube with screw cap. ingredients list are printed at the back of the tube. the size is 5 ml but it's enough for around 4-5 uses.
all the items in the set
the scent: there's no annoying scent, though if i sniff closely, there's a bit scent due to the ingredients.
the tube and ingredients list at the back
the product: the moisturizer is a white gel type moisturizer that's on the dense side compared to other moisturizer that i've been using lately. in fact, it's probably leaning toward cream more than gel. but it's still spread around easily. since it's quite thick, i only need a little for my whole face and neck.
left: how it looks like on my hand
right: after blended
the result: compared to the toner, the moisturizer gives enough punch, sealing everything if you use the whole set. the toner and the serum are considered lightweight, so the moisturizer feels like compensates everything else and seals it at the end. however, since it's quite thick, at the end, it feels a bit oily, but not too much.

i have to say that if you use it solely, the moisturizer will feel a bit heavy on oily skin, but it's still okay as it comes in gel type so it doesn't feel too heavy. i think it's okay for normal to dry skin, but for dry skin it might not be enough at night time. if you're using the whole set, then the moisturizer is a must to use as it seals everything at the end. i have to say that this moisturizer really delivers. i use this when i was on the plane and it helps with the dryness in the plane cabin. when i arrived in my destination, i usually got acnes because my skin was dehydrated, but not this time. it's well moisturized without looking overly greasy, so i'm happy. however, i won't buy this to use for my daily routine as i have other lightweight moisturizer that i like better than this one for in the morning, so.. yeah.. i'll repurchase if i ever need another travel set.
okay, i asked my sister to order something from sephora online, so in return, i got a few samples. one of them is this cream from fresh. i also got the toner one and i've reviewed it in other post. anyway, i never touched this cream in sephora, so i have no idea what to expect. the whole rose line is focused on hydration, so let's see how it goes. and since this only comes in sachet, i can only review it as first-impression and not fully in depth one.

this is the description from their website: this lightweight moisturizer delivers 72-hours deep hydration in three ways: high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid instantly and deeply hydrate while time-release technology delivers continuous hydration. damask rose extract strengthens the skin's barrier to lock it all in, resulting in dewy skin that's plumped with moisture. deeply hydrates for 72 hours, strengthens the skin's barrier, soothes dry skin for a plump, dewy look.
key ingredients:
- damask rose extract: sourced from rose valley, bulgaria and extracted with a sustainable approach, helps to retain moisture while strengthening the skin's barrier to protect from water loss.
- hyaluronic acids of high (1500kDA) and low (50kDA) molecular weight work to instantly hydrate the skin's surface and deliver hydration into the deeper layers of the epidermis.
- rosewater: helps to calm and soothe.
- time-release technology: creates a hydrating micro network on the skin surface: acacia gum and algin create a tight knit web, and serine is gradually released for long-lasting moisturization.

the packaging: it comes in a sachet with the picture of the full size version at front. there's description in various languages at the back. it comes in 2 ml but i can use it for 3 uses. however, it irked me that they didn't put any marking on the sachet, so i have to cut it with scissors to get it open. and not just tear it open.
the sachet
the scent: fortunately, this one doesn't smell as strong as the toner. the rose scent is more subdued so it's more bearable to use the cream.

the product: it's a white gel type cream, but on the thicker side. it feels almost like cream. compared to other moisturizers that i tried lately, this one is the thickest. i only need a little for my whole face and neck, that was why it was enough for 3 uses.
how it looks like on my hand
the result: i have to say that i'm relieved to find that even though it's on the thicker side, it's not too heavy for my skin. but, maybe in the long run, it's more suitable for night time for me rather than day moisturizer. right now since i'm mostly indoors with AC on, the moisturizer is enough for my combination skin. but under the heat, i can imagine that it'll bee to heavy. the moisturizer is more moisturizing rather than hydrating.

compared to drunk elephant the green one (forgive me for forgetting its complete name), i like that one better as that one really comes in gel type and really lightweight. this one though, i don't think i'll purchase the full size as it's quite thick. but if you have dry skin, then this might be a good choice if you want to splurge. it does work, just not for me. i'm glad that i got the sample as it gives me the idea about the full size one. if you don't mind with the scent and the price, then go for it. as for me, i have other great moisturizers so i'll pass.

finally i can get my hand on this highly-raved toner. just like the moisturizer, the green one which targeted oily skin is always sold out. so, when i finally can get my hand on the travel size one, i'm quite happy with it. so let's see whether it's worth the rave.

this is the description translated from their website: studio tropik herbitus skin tonic has a lightweight formula to freshen and to soothe redness on acne skin. suitable for redness and acne-prone skin. start your skincare routine with skin tone as a special 'welcome drink' for your skin. used after washing your face to activate 'super sponge mode' that makes skin softer and more supple, ready for your next skincare routine. #cheerstobetterskin

main ingredients:
- mugwort: rich of antioxidant and works as anti-inflammation. can soothe and reduce redness on skin.
- cica (centella asiatica): acts as anti-inflammation that can help speeding up acne healing process without drying the skin.
- black cumin seed (habbatussauda): prevent P.acne growth, speed up healing process and strengthen the epidermal layer for a strong skin barrier.
ingredients list: Aqua, Butylene glycol, Centella asiatica extract, Artemisia vulgaris extract, Salicylic acid, Nigella sativa seed extract, Mandelic acid, Capryloyl salicylic acid, Propylene glycol, Pentylene glycol, Capryloyl glycine, 1,2-hexanediol, Caprylyl glycol, 10-Hydroxydecanoic acid, Sebacic acid, 1,10-Decanediol, Sodium hydroxide, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, Triethanolamine, Ethylhexylglycerin, Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin, Potassium sorbate, Sodium benzoate, Citric acid.

the packaging: i believe the mini size is just the miniature of the full size one. it comes with a moss green box with description on it as well as the ingredients list. the toner also comes in transparent plastic bottle with green screw plastic cap. the label has similar design with the box. the mini size is 30 ml. there are several sizes of this toner, ranging from the mini size, 30 ml; the regular one 100 ml; and the giant one 200 ml. so pick one to suit your need.

the scent: this one is scentless and there's no foul scent as well.

the product: this toner is watery but a bit viscous. it's easy to spread around but since it's a bit viscous, it takes a minute or two for the toner to sink into my skin. it feels slippery and it forms like a layer on top of my skin. judging by the ingredients, it really does contain lots of stuff that can be beneficial for acne skin like cica, salicylic acid, and mugwort.

the result: actually i feel weird about this toner as it forms a layer of moisture on top of my skin. it takes a few minutes for it to sink in. it's completely different from the probiotic one that sinks in right away then i can feel it plumps up my skin from within. with this one, the hydration isn't as maximum as the probiotic one, but there's a slippery layer on my skin. luckily other products that i use after this toner doesn't pill on top of it. i've heard that you can use it for CSM, but considering i only have 25 ml of it, i won't use it for CSM.

up until now, i can't understand the hype of this toner. yeah sure, it's lightweight but still hydrating, but i don't like the slippery feeling that it gives. in fact, i like the probiotic one more even though i have combination and sometimes get acnes. so, definitely try the mini size if you're not sure which one you like better. price wise, it ranges from the size, but it's still affordable. availability wise, since it's a local brand, it's easier to get. however, the herbitus one is often sold out, so snatch them whenever they're available without waiting them to be on sales.

i used to go through eyebrow pencil really quick. however, since the pandemic started, somehow i got lazy with makeup hence it takes longer for me to finish my eyebrow pencil. anyway, since it's easy to find something from local brand these days, i decided to wait until i almost finish with the old one before buying the new one. anyway, there are two eyebrow pencil from somethinc, the other one is the triangular shape one. somehow i don't like when it's shaped triangular, that's why i decided to get this one. honestly i don't know what's the difference in term of the formula, so if you know about it, let me know in the comment.

this is the description from their website: precise! get your very precise brow shape in seconds! the 0.55 mm ultra-fine pencil tip from brow wiz makes it super easy to draw perfect eyebrows! get a natural finish with the spoolie to blend and brush at ease. all-in-one brow tool for easy, on-the-go application!
shades: dark chocolate, dark brown, gray brown.
top: the box
bottom: the pencil and the box
the packaging: it comes with a combination of holographic/black box with description on the side as well as the shade name printed on the box. the eyebrow pencil itself comes in black matte plastic pen shape with dual ended head. one is for the eyebrow pencil, the other one is the spoolie. both ends are covered with the same black matte plastic cap, similar feel with the body. there's a band of color on the body that indicates the shade of the pencil.
the pencil end
the shade: there are three options to choose from, dark chocolate, dark brown and gray brown. honestly, looking at their website, it's hard to differentiate them since the difference is very slim. gray brown looks like black, while dark brown is dark brown almost black. the dark chocolate is the lightest one. mine is the dark chocolate one.
the spoolie end
the product: as promoted, the eyebrow pencil has slim tip and it's really tiny. the pencil is a little bit hard and not that pigmented. if you have oily skin, you should clean your skin first before using it as it doesn't show up when the surface is slippery or oily. the spoolie is slim as well, which is similar to other brand. luckily it doesn't feel scratchy. i just wish a fluffier spoolie like elf one.
how it looks like on my hand
the result: like i said, it's not super pigmented and you have to clean your skin first before using it. this doesn't necessarily mean bad as for beginner, it's easier for you to draw tiny strokes thanks to the slim tip and you can easily erase it if you make a mistake. since it's not pigmented, you can build it up without looking too much and soften it up with the spoolie. i personally like the result as it doesn't look dark and scary on me. it makes me look like i have full brows naturally.
top: before
bottom: after
that being said, this one is pretty decent. if only the spoolie is a bit fluffy. i don't have problem with the pencil and it blends nicely with my own brows. the price is really affordable as well. definitely will repurchase if i ever run out of stuff to try.

this is translated from their website: matcha oat gentle cleanser is a pH balanced face cleanser with gel texture. this gentle cleanser contains good ingredients for skin such as oat, heart leaf, collagen and real green tea leaves that can clean dirt softly (dirt, air pollution, sebum excess on the face and residue from makeup) and soothe skin without drying it. matcha oat gentle cleanser can also make your skin soft, supple and maintain its moisture.

main ingredients:
- matcha: rich of antioxidant that helps soothe irritated skin.
- oat extract: soothe, antioxidant and good skin barrier for dry and sensitive skin.
- heart leaf: soothe, anti inflammation, works as humectants that maintain skin moisture.
- licorice: brightens and helps even out skin tone, antioxidant and anti inflammation.
- collagen: helps cleanse skin and reduces exfoliation and maintains skin suppleness and softens it.

ingredient List - Water, Potassium Cocoyl Hydrolyzed Collagen, Glycerin, Acrylates Copolymer, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate, Butylene Glycol, Decyl Glucoside, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Pentylene Glycol, Xanthan Gum, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Panthenol, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Leaf Extract, Triethanolamine, Clitoria Ternatea Flower Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Cinnamomum Zeylanicum Bark Extract, Capryloyl Glycine, Sarcosine, Citrus Junos Seed Extract, Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, Actinidia Chinensis (Kiwi) Seed, (Salicylic Acid 0.01%), Fragaria Chiloensis (Strawberry) Fruit Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Skin Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Leaf Extract, Garcinia Mangostana Peel Extract, Propanediol, Sodium Hydroxide, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Chlorphenesin, Allantoin, Disodium EDTA, Camellia Sinensis Leaf

the packaging: there's no box for this cleanser, so it's only sealed with plastic sealing on the whole body. the cleanser itself comes in gradient green plastic squeeze tube with flip top. they also seal the inside opening with aluminium foil to double secure the product. there's description as well as ingredients list at the back of the tube. it comes in 100 ml which is standard size for face wash.
the bottle
the scent: i think it has faint green tea scent, but it's very subtle almost not noticeable, so it won't bother you even if you have sensitive skin. i don't see added fragrance in the ingredients list as well, so the scent is probably because of the ingredients.
description at the back and the ingredients list
the product: the cleanser is a brownish gel type cleanser with darker brown bits in it, which i assume the green tea bits. you have to add a bit water and rub it with your hands to make it bubbling, but the bubble produced is very low. now, obviously i'll try it with my foreo. as usual, it gives more bubble when being used with foreo. however, the dark brown bits stuck in between my foreo silicone brush. and it's hard to remove it. and no, it doesn't always have the brown bits into it.
can you see the brownish bits inside?
the result: this one works well and non drying. it doesn't leave "coated-feeling" as if i didn't rinse it well enough.

now, i have to draw a sad conclusion about this cleanser. even though this works well and really affordable, and i usually like their product... at the end i'd say i probably won't repurchase this cleanser. mainly for the reason that i can't use my foreo with it. yeah. the brown bits that stuck in between the brush is annoying. and i can't wait until there's no brown bits to use with my foreo, and skip it if there's the brown bits. that being said, if you're looking for a gentle, non drying cleanser that's affordable and easy to get (this one is local brand, so obviously it'll be easier to get), then you should try it. but if you use cleansing brush on daily basis, i don't think you'd appreaciate the brown bits that'll stuck in between your brush.
yep, i bought another travel set from glowincpotion again. i actually wanted to try the hydralive and the forever one, but the seller made a mistake and sent me the maintain one. oh well, might as well try it. anyway, i bought them for traveling purpose, but seeing that the size is too small for my 2 weeks trip, i decided to carry it in my bag to be used on the plane. since i was gone for two weeks, i brought mini size in my luggage and even full size sunscreen stick. but i have long flight, transit once in dubai, so i thought i might needed a mini set during my flight and i'm glad i did that.

- nutrient skin everyday moisturizer 5 ml
the whole set
the packaging: it comes in soft plastic pouch with zipper to secure all the products inside. on the top right there's the sticker label to indicate the type of set. all travel set comes in similar packaging, greyish tube with color coded label. for maintain, it's light blue. the toner itself comes in short cylindrical tube with screw cap. at front the label indicate no.2 toner, to show the order of use. it only comes in 5 ml which is not enough for two weeks travel, but for long hour flight (which can add to two days), it's still enough.
what's inside this set
the scent: if you take a look at the ingredients list, there's no added fragrance in it, so it's scentless. however, i completely forgot how it was when i used it at the airport, but when i tried to finish it at home, somehow it smell bad. like musty. it's still not expired yet, so i don't know what cause it.
the toner
the product: it's a watery toner, looks like one and feels like one. i use two or three layers for my whole face and neck. looking at the ingredients, it contains glycerin, hyaluronic acid and several ceramide and cholesterol which is all moisturizing and hydrating ingredients.
how it looks like on my face
the result: however, even though it contains those ingredients, somehow i feel that this toner is not enough. perhaps because i've tried heavier toner that's why this one feels super duper lightweight. it sinks right away and leaves no glow whatsoever to indicate that i've used the toner. that's why there's no after picture because there's no difference. i think the only difference between this one and the acnecore one is the scent. aside from the scent, both toner feels the same.

i doubted that this is enough even for normal skin type as this is super lightweight. however, if you're fond of watery type toner, then you can consider this one. full size one is really affordable. availability, you can get them from their official website and marketplace as well as beautyhaul. as for me, i think i'll skip this one. even though for a temporary use, i think i'll try other type and not this one.
