  • About me
the last time i was in japan, i only try to get the eye serum from this brand because one influencer promotes it. i knew that they have sunscreen, but last time i only found the SPF 35 one and i live in tropical country, so SPF 35 won't be enough for me. however, i was almost desperate on my last visit to japan but on my second last day, i found a lot of sunscreens. one of them is this sunscreen and this one, it's their SPF 50. so obviously i bought it.

this is the description from yesstyle website: this hydrating sunscreen gel has a fresh formula featuring 6 organic herbal extracts, honey, royal jelly, 2 types of collagen and 3 types of hyaluronic acid to soothe, condition and hydrate skin. the non-sticky and non-greasy texture leaves skin comfortable while protecting it against sunburn, sun spots and other UV damage. suitable for daily use. comfortable UV that is fresh. SPF 50+ PA++++ powerful UV cut gel. it protects the skin from strong UV rays in daily life and leisure, and prevents dark spots and freckles caused by sunburn. despite its high SPF value, it cuts the burden on the skin such as squeak and dryness peculiar to sunscreen. comfortably strong UV protection with UV gel containing beauty moisturizing ingredients. natural moisturizing ingredients: honey, royal jelly extract. beauty moisturizing ingredients: 2 types of collagen, 3 types of hyaluronic acid. contains 6 kinds of of organic moisturizing ingredients (chamomile flower extract, jojoba leaf extract, lavender flower extract, rosemary flower extract, hagoromogusa leaf extract, artea root extract). ingredients to prevent rough skin: glycyrrhizic acid 2K hydrolyzed collagen, water-soluble collagen Na hyaluronic acid, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, Na acetyl hyaluronate. honey lemon scent.

the packaging: it comes in light blue plastic pouch with big transparent window at front and lots of description at the back, but everything is in japanese, as usual. the pouch is a resealable type. the sunscreen itself comes in a white plastic tube with light blue screw cap. there's another description at the back of the tube in japanese as well. the sunscreen comes in 45 g which is not much considering most japanese or korean sunscreens come in bigger size, around 70-80 g at least.
the packaging
the scent: even though i've just finished it, i totally forgot how it smells like. but i don't have any problem with it, so even though this one is scented, it's probably very subtle.
the tube
the product: the sunscreen is a thick gel cream type that's easy to spread around. it doesn't leave any white cast, but i'm quite fair so i might not the right person to judge about it. it doesn't die down completely matte, maybe slightly satin?
the opening
the result: this one is comfortable enough for me to use even on hot days like these days. it doesn't mess up with my makeup if i happen to wear any. however, i don't think it stays matte all day. i can feel around my t-zone, it becomes a bit oily. but not too much. as for protection, so far my face is still the same shade as before, considering i've been going out when it was the hottest to pick up my kids.
top: how it looks like
bottom: after it's absorbed
i'm glad i got the chance to try this one. i think this might be suitable for all skin types and this is quite gentle while still being protective. unfortunately, this brand is not easy to find, so if you can find it, try it. as for me, unless i can buy it again, i don't think i'll repurchase this one as i have another trip in the future and i'm sure i'll be buying lots of sunscreens, so yeah.. not repurchase for now.
okay, i know there are some issues regarding this brand right now, but i've bought this one way before the issue arise. but, i've already known that this brand is not a local one. however, i never bother to check the manufacturer, so imagine my surprise when i checked the manufacturer and saw that it was indeed made in PRC. printed in tiny fonts, just like they said. anyway, let's say after i finish the last batch that i bought from them, i won't be buying from them anymore. however, i won't judge you if you keep buying them because you like their products or if you can't afford anything else. you do you. so, let's see how this one goes.

this is the description from their website: cleansing mousse with micro amino acid, cleanse deeply with gentle touch on skin. formulated with natural ingredients for maintain healthy skin barrier. contain 5x ceramides and white truffle to lock moisture and keep skin soft and smooth. silky foam, as smooth as silk. easy to product in just 1 press, cleanse skin perfectly of dirt and excess oil.
hero ingredients:
- amino acid: effectively cleanse gently while keep skin smooth and hydrate
- 5x ceramides: contains 5 types ceramide to repair and calm skin barrier
- white truffle: high end mushroom from alba which fight free radicals, also rich in fatty acids to protect skin barrier
important points: quick silky foam, cleanse deeply and gently while maintain skin barrier. as smooth as silk, easy to produce rich foam in just 1 press to cleanse dirt also excess oil. with micro amino acid that effectively cleanse pores deeply with gentle touch on skin. formulated with 5x ceramide and white truffle to lock skin moisture after wash face

the packaging: it comes in light blue box which is similar to the rest of ceramide line. there's descriptions at the back of the box in english as well as ingredients list. please note that for this one, they don't state the manufacturer origin. the facial wash itself comes in transparent blue plastic bottle with white pump head. the pump head is quite big since it produces foam instantly. however, i don't like how hard it is to press the pump head. it makes controlling the amount that i want to dispense a bit hard to do. sometimes i end up squirt more than i need. anyway, this comes in 100 ml which is the normal amount of facial wash size.
the box
the scent: this one is scentless without any foul scent of the ingredients.
description and ingredients list on the box
the product: even though they market this as a cleansing mousse, this is basically a foam. a facial foam. once you press the pump head, it will produce a foam, which has quite a body in it. it doesn't disperse easily so i can pat it to distribute it all over my face before rubbing it all over. i can also use this with my foreo without any problem. with foreo, it will bubble some more but not too crazy.
the bottle
the result: they market this as an ultra gentle facial wash. well, sorry to say, but this is just a mediocre facial foam. once i rinse it off, i can feel the squeaky clean feeling afterward. though my skin doesn't become too tight and dry, but it still feels dry, especially if i don't use my toner or essence right after. but, it's not crazily drying either. let's just say this one feels ordinary. like other facial foam in the market that promise to be non drying but it's not.
how it looks like on my foreo
it's safe to say that i won't be repurchasing this one because there are better facial foam out there. however, i think if you like facial foam and don't mind a bit drying after effect, then you can try this one. especially if you have no problem with the issue surrounding the brand. this one is affordable so i can understand if budget is your problem. anyway, skintific is easy to get here so you won't have any problem trying this one. as for me, i'll pass not just because of that issue, but also because i don't like this one.
i'm back at it. buying new moisturizer especially the lightweight ones for my morning routine. there are a lot of them that i haven't tried yet so i slowly try buying them one by one and trying them. one of the most raved one is glad2glow blueberry one. but as usual, if you knew me, i rarely only buy one product every time i buy from a brand. usually i will see what other products they have to offer so i can save on the shipping cost, so expect another review from this brand since i also bought something else from them.
the tub
this is the translated description from their official marketplace channel: moisturizer with blueberry extract and ceramide that works to treat inflammation on the skin, redness or sensitive skin. with a lightweight gel texture that's easy to absorbed, moisturize skin well and give cooling sensation with refreshing blueberry aroma. suitable for dry skin, oily skin, and even sensitive skin.
benefits: protect skin barrier, help soothe sensitive skin, help lessen skin inflammation, maintain hydration and skin moisture.
hero ingredients:
- blueberry extract: treat skin inflammation
- ceramide: protect skin barrier
ingredients list at the back
the packaging: there's no box, just the tub, wrapped with plastic sealing securely. the moisturizer comes in a purple plastic tub with screw cap. there's ingredients list printed at the back of the tub, but nothing else.  there's another purple plastic separator that keeps the product from being in direct contact with the air. there's another tiny spatula inside but this time, it's straight and not curvy like other spatulas before this one. this one comes in 30 g, which is a normal size for a moisturizer. however, it looks tiny compared to other moisturizer with the same size that i used just before this. but oh well, the other ones have double-walled body, so it deceived me. not this one though.
the inside and the straight spatula
the scent: they say it has refreshing blueberry scent but for me, it smells like the grape sugus candy which i use to eat sometimes when i was little. anyway, the scent is a bit fruity and mild so it's not overwhelming.
how it looks like inside the tub
the product: it's a bluish lightweight gel moisturizer. the consistency is similar to true to skin or maybe a tad lighter than somethinc ceramide. since it's lightweight, it's easy to spread it around. it melts into watery traces so it's easily absorbed. it doesn't give any tacky feeling afterward.
how it looks like on my hand
the result: this one really gives cooling sensation afterward. and it's totally hydrating and lightweight. perfect for daytime use. after using this moisturizer in combination with tatcha essence, i started to see the result almost immediately after 2-3 days use. my skin condition gets better and even though i almost get my period, my skin is still manageable. which is great!
it melts right away
i totally love this moisturizer. i could see why there are so many people loving this moisturizer. it's very enjoyable to use. anyway, even though i can see that every skin types will love it, dry skin would need something else since this one is so lightweight. oh and if you don't like scented products in your skincare routine, then you should skip this one too as this is scented. but if you don't have any problems with all that, then i suggest you try this if you're curious about it. the good news is, this one is really affordable. the only cons is this one might not last long. 30 g is not a lot to go by if you use it every day. as for me, i like this one enough to put it on my maybe-repurchase list.
future me here: i've just found out recently that this brand is NOT a local brand, but imported from china. this curiosity sparked when i saw them launching a lot of products that are similar to other brand's, so i did some little digging and found out the truth. let's just say, i cancel my upcoming purchase list because suddenly i lose interest in trying them. but this one is a good solid product.
even though i started going on places again, there are some products in my set that i wasn't to keen on bringing while traveling. one of them is this essence. so, considering that it's been in my stash for awhile, i decided to just use it at home.

this is the description from their website: resurface, soften and plump with the essence. made of 100% hadasei-3, a trio of fermented japanese superfoods, the essence is proven to make your skincare more effective. this simple yet transformative formula is 100% hadasei-3, a proprietary fermented complex of the very superfoods core to the japanese diet: rice, algae, and green tea. this potent formula boosts the effects of skincare, resurfaces, and hydrates for primed, plump, petal-soft skin at any age.
the complex is rooted in akita rice fermented with a specially selected yeast strain to yield much less alcohol. as the base, this ferment helps deliver nutrients directly into the skin, allowing them to permeate. moisture-retaining okinawa algae replenishes the skin barrier for a plumped appearance, and antioxidant-rich uji green tea protects the skin from premature aging. with each component represented at its optimal level, this harmonious trio of superfoods is fermented once more, boosting the benefits of the transformative superfoods therein. this fermentation process produces amino acids and AHAs like lactic acid, which support natural surface cell turnover for smooth skin.
the packaging
featured ingredients: hadasei-3 complex - our proprietary complex of double-fermented akita rice, uji green tea and okinawa algae. this trinity of time-tested ingredients work in harmony to deliver radiant, healthy-looking skin. rich in essential amino acids, it supports the skin's moisture-keeping factors while promoting natural skin surface turnover for brighter, beautiful skin at every age.
description at the back
the packaging: since i bought this in a set, it comes in pink/purple abstract bag with all the products inside. all the products are placed in a plastic tray so everything is safe and secure. the essence itself comes in a white gradient glass bottle with a screw cap. they seal the cap with a patterned sticker. see..the glass is quite heavy, that's why i don't want to risk it being broken on the way so that's the reason why i didn't want to bring it while traveling. the bottom part of the bottle is transparent so you can see the remaining product inside. it only comes in 25 ml. there's a bit description at the back of the bottle but no ingredients list. they use the usual toner opening to pour out the essence.
all the products on the tray
the scent: there's no added fragrance and there's no foul scent either.
the bottle
the product: it's a watery type essence. it looks and feels just like water. it's very watery so i have to be careful not to pour too much. i pour it to my palm and immediately pat it to my face. since this is watery, it's absorbed immediately into my skin and doesn't leave any traces behind. no tacky feeling. sorry there's no picture of the product because since it's transparent, it's hard to capture it.
the back of the bottle
the result: it makes my skin glowing a bit right afterward, but it vanished afterward. this one is definitely hydrating but i don't see anything else. however, i feel this works well with other products in my routine. and somehow it calms my skin. yeah, i didn't realize i was about to get my period until i get the unbearable PMS pain and when i did, i feel my skin is getting better even around my period time.

one thing that i realize after using this essence is that my skin is more likely prefer watery toner/essence like this one and not so much with the slightly viscous slippery one. back to the essence, this one is good for all skin types but maybe not for dry skin since it won't change much. anyway, i don't think i'll purchase the full size one because it's pricey, but if you like something lightweight and hydrating, then give it a try if you have the budget.
bear with me. some of the posts will be reviews of my newly-purchased stuff that i bought from the US. yes, that's right. i went to the US and i had this long list of stuff that i wanted to buy while i was there. and i mostly checked the items in my list so i was pretty happy. anyway, since i have only one face, i decided only to buy one more blush. i already bought rare beauty liquid blush, so i decided not to buy more shades. but, i wanted to try other blushes, so i narrowed down to either danessa myricks new release, the blush balm or whatever, or something else that caught my attention when i was there. unfortunately, when i finally swatches danessa myricks, the color didn't seem right for me. don't get me wrong.. they're hella pigmented but the color selections are more suitable for medium to deeper skin tone. the one that i thought would be okay for me, ended up being too dusty. so i decided not to buy it. and just before i departed, glossier decided to retail their products in sephora, so i was thinking to try their cloud paint, but at the last minute, i refrained from buying it. then i remembered saie liquid blush. i was thinking peachy, but the only shades available there was rosy and spicy. so i grabbed rosy after swatching it. luckily, saie is not available in singapore as well, so i don't feel too guilty buying it.
the box
this is the description from their website: blush, but better. dew blush is a cream-gel blush that gives a natural flush of just-pinched color. our chubby doe-foot applicator and lightweight formula lets you create a natural tint (or build it up for a deeper wash of color). never streaky or patchy, dew blush melts right into skin for a seamless, lit-from-within flush.
what it's good for:
- moisturizing and soothing evening primrose.
- brightening mulberry
- protecting elderberry
shade name on top of the box and under the tube
the packaging: it comes in bluish grey box with the sticker of the shade name stick on top of the box. the blush itself comes in a frosted plastic bottle with black screw cap that has a wand attached to the cap. it has a big doe foot applicator which shaped like an onion bulb to apply the blush. the blush is 12 ml which is 5 ml more than rare beauty liquid blush.
the tube
the color: there are 6 colors to choose from and mine is rosy. according to them, rosy is warm rose. but i think it's more like a medium peachy pink. slightly deeper than peachy. it's perfect for daily and it's not too warm nor too peachy for me.
the wand
the product: just like described, it's a cream-gel blush. it's not as runny as rare beauty so it's easier to dot it on my face with the doe-foot applicator. i can use my finger or blush to blend the blush but i prefer brush. the pigmentation is just enough. not too pigmented like rare beauty that i have to be careful with blending it. it doesn't dry down too fast that i have to be quick neither.
how it looks like on my hand
the result: just like the name, it gives glowy finish. it doesn't dry down matte nor powdery so it's perfect for daily or no makeup-makeup routine. as for longevity, since this is quite dewy, it will hold longer if i set it with powder or powder blush on top of this blush. but if i don't, then it will be okay for around 3-4 hours before the color started to fade naturally.
right: one layer on my cheek (in real life, it looks natural for me, but not so visible on camera)
left: two layers on my cheek (visible on camera but maybe too much in real life)
overall, i'm quite satisfied with this blush. at first i was worried that the color will look too orange or too dark on me. but i was wrong. it doesn't turn too rosy and it looks perfect on me. i also like the finish. i just wish i can finish it since it'd be such a waste to spend 25 USD on a blush and not finish it. i think it'd be suitable for all skin types and the color selection is quite wide, so i think there'd be something for everyone. but since this one is not that pigmented, i'm not so sure that it will show up on darker skin tone. anyway, since saie is not available here, i don't think i'd repurchase more shades for now.
i totally forgot that i have this in my stash. i thought i have gone through all my local brand sunscreen, but apparently i missed this one. anyway, one glance at the size and i know that it should be enough during my singapore trip. anyway, let's see how it goes.

this is the translated description from their website: with lightweight cream texture and easy to absorb, this formula gives protection that also helps maintain skin to keep bright, moist, and healthy. this product has main ingredients such as sodium hyaluronate, chamomile flower extract, and allantoin that will moisten and soothe skin. combined with 3-0 ethyl ascorbic acid that's effective to brighten the skin.
key ingredients: 0.1% sodium hyaluronate (HA), 0.05% allantoin, 0.1% 3-0 ethyl ascorbic acid and 0.5% chamomile flower extract

the packaging: it comes in gradient light blue/white box with descriptions on it in indonesian and english. there's also a complete ingredients list at the back of the box. there's a hologram sticker to seal the top of the box and transparent plastic sticker at the bottom. the sunscreen itself also comes in gradient light blue/white flat plastic squeeze tube with screw cap. there's a spout to dispense the product. it's only 30 ml which is why i said it should be enough for my 10 days trip.
the box
the scent: i forgot how this smells like. i think this smells a bit citrusy, but i might be wrong. anyway, it's very subtle.
the tube
the product: it's a lightweight white cream just as described, but i think there's a bit gel texture in it, considering that it's easy to spread around. it leaves a bit white cast but as i keep rubbing it, it disappears at the end.
how it looks like and after blending it
the result: it gives a slight glow afterward and it doesn't mess with my makeup. i actually want to try this under hot weather, but somehow, the weather in singapore was not as hot as i guessed it would be. it was cloudy most days and even rainy for a couple days we were there. the only sunny days were the weekends, when we almost went back home. and then, back home, it's not as hot as i thought it would be. at least not for a week after. i have to say that i don't see any changes in my skin color, so i guess it give the protection that it's supposed to give.

avoskin is a hit and miss for me, but this time, it's kind of a hit for me. it's lightweight and it doesn't turn oily as the day goes by. however, i don't like how little it is. like, it will only last for two weeks for me. in that case, it's not so affordable anymore that way. anyway, if you're looking for a lighweight sunscreen that doesn't come big in size and still affordable and easy to get almost everywhere, then this is one that you should give a try. as for me, i have lots of sunscreens in my stash to try so i probably won't repurchase this any time soon. but if you're traveling for a week or so and need something small to bring around, this is a good option.
i'm on the hunt for lightweight gel type cream to be used in the morning. i've tested a bunch of them a couple months ago but there were some of them that i didn't get to buy, so i'm buying and trying them one by one now. there's still some more in my list but i'll be easy on myself. actually, i'm interested in both moisturizers from saturday looks, but looking closely at the ingredients, i decided to buy the blue one, the one with hyaluronic acid.

this is the translated description from their marketplace: a face moisturizer with water as its main ingredients so it has very lightweight texture but still moisten. without leaving tacky and uncomfortable feeling, it's absorbed right after application.
suitable for normal to dry skin. focus on hydrating and repairing skin barrier. more benefits: for a smoother and healthier skin.
the box
the packaging: it comes in light blue box with nothing else on it. there's no seal on the box because they wrap the whole box with plastic sealing. the moisturizer itself comes in double-walled plastic jar. the inner layer is light blue, but the outer layer is white. the jar is very lightweight which is total indication of the low price. but it doesn't mean that it looks cheap. it feels a bit cheap. but packaging doesn't compromise the result, so let's move on. oh, i forgot to tell you that it comes in 20 ml so it's slightly less than usual because usually moisturizers come in 30 ml. there’s a plastic separator inside with a tiny spatula on top of it.
the jar
the scent: i don't pick up anything, but it doesn't smell foul. and i think it smells a bit fresh. but as i've said numerous times, i might be wrong.
the separator and tiny spatula
the product: it's a bluish gel type moisturizer. it's very lightweight, as advertised. it feels like it's between somethinc hyaluronic and somethinc ceramic. i think it's slightly more lightweight than true to skin one. this one is the type that melts into watery traces when you spread it around.
how it looks like in the tub
the result: it's a quick absorbing one too and doesn't leave tacky feeling afterward. i can feel this one is hydrating but i can't say for sure that it will be moisturizing enough, especially for dry skin. i use this every day in the morning because it's quite lightweight, and it doesn't mess with my sunscreen. however, i can layer this if i feel i need to add something more. but still, i don't think it's occlusive enough.
on my hand
after spreading it around
yeah sure, i'm happy that this one works for me. even better than whitelab that i used before this. however, again, i'm not happy with the size and the bulky packaging. with the 20 ml size, maybe a tube would be a better option so i can bring it while traveling. i also think this one is for all skin types, but it's wrong to label it for dry skin. dehydrated and normal skin would be more suitable. somehow the feel is similar to somethinc hyaluronic one. as for me, i'm happy this one works for me. it's affordable, very.. but not easy to get as you can only find it through their official market place. i'm putting this in a maybe repurchase list for now.

whitelab might not be one of the popular local brands but i've tried some of their products and they work well on my skin. so when i saw that this one influencer repeatedly mention this moisturizer, i thought i should give it a try especially since she sounded so convincing. plus, reading the description, it looks like it might suit me, so i decided to give it a try.

this is the translated description from their website: whitelab cera-mug barrier moisturizing gel is proven clinically to lock moisture until 48 hours. formulated with the strength of three main ingredients ceramide-4, mugwort and hyalucomplex-10 that can treat and maintain skin barrier function, increases skin's hydration level, and also helps soothe irritated skin and redness. skin looks more moist, supple and healthy. a lightweight gel-type moisturizer without tacky feeling.
powerful ingredients:
- ceramide-4 : combination of 4 essential types of ceramide (ceramide I, III, VI, precursor) that can help increase skin barrier function, prevent transepidermal water loss (TEWL), reduce skin sensitivity signs, increase moisture and maintain face hydration level.
- mugwort: a very popular ingredient in Korea that's rich in antioxidant and can soothe skin redness or irritation, control excess oil production, moist the skin, and helps acneic skin.
- hyalucomplex-10: combination of 10 types of hyaluron molecules "low to middle weight molecule" that can increase and maintain hydration level in different skin layers so it can help maintain skin moisture all day long.
the box
the packaging: it comes in a with box with description in indonesian as well as the ingredients list printed on it. the moisturizer itself comes in a blue plastic tub with white plastic screw cap. anyway, the tub is deceiving, if you ask me. it looks bigger than it's supposed to. when i read the box and saw that it's only 20 g, then i could predict that i will finish it in no time. no wonder the influencer said that she wished it comes in a bigger size. anyway, in case you don't know, i think there's a bigger size version out there, but i didn't buy it that one. oh well, the moisturizer comes with a tiny spatula on top of the white plastic cover to cover the moisturizer so it doesn't come in contact with air all the time.
description on the box and ingredients list
the scent: it doesn't have any particular scent, which is quite a relief.
the tub
the product: at first glance, it looks like a transparent gel type moisturizer that looks eerily similar to dear me beauty one. however, once i put it on my hand and spread it around, it's definitely not as thick as dear me one. it melts once i spread it around into watery traces and sinks into my skin. it takes a second or two before it's completely absorbed.
the tiny spatula
the result: once it's absorbed, it doesn't look completely matte. it's very lightweight so it's perfect for hot days like now. it works like a charm. it's hydrating without being too heavy on my skin. it's perfect for the mornings when i don't have time for my skincare to settle in before using my makeup. it reminds me to avoskin blue moisturizer one.
all finished!
anyway, i do like this one, but i finish it too soon. they surely need to make a bigger size for this moisturizer. i think it'll be suitable for all skin types, but perhaps, it'll be more suitable for oily to normal skin. dry skin? i don't think they will benefit from this one. anyway, if i have to rank this, i'd say i like this better than dear me beauty one, but i like it less than avoskin blue one. however, that avoskin one doesn't come in the same thick gel form. as for me, i don't think i'd repurchase this one mainly because i finish it too quick.
ps: i'd like to apologize as well since i finish it so quick (i only used it for a few days before we're leaving to singapore for holiday and during my stay in singapore for 8 days, and it's gone already two days after i went back home), i didn't have the chance to take picture of it. i've finished it before i got the chance to take picture of it.
several months ago, i got this urge to try underrated local brands. i looked around for brands and products to try and i found several products that i want to try from kitsch, so i bought it from them directly since i purchased several products in one go. i've tried their moisturizer before so this time i'm trying their toner, which is the second products from kitschy that i'm going to try.

this is the description from their marketplace page (the one on their website is not available because it's sold out at the moment): hydrating and boosting your skincare in a super way. an essential hybrid toner with the properties of a serum and a toner in one.
what makes it special: a hybrid between a toner and a serum - moisturizing and concentrated all at the same time! helps improve dull, tired skin and overall radiance. helps restore skin's natural pH balance. boosts your skincare because of its concentrated ingredients. strengthens your skin barrier.
hero ingredients:
- violet : soothe skin and anti-inflammatory
- camelia : increasing collagen production in skin, protect skin and maintain skin moisture.
- soybean : improve skin texture, antioxidant that helps reduce fine lines and aging signs.
- ceramide : gives moisture, hydrate skin and maintain skin barrier function.
- cactus extract : anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, tighten skin.
- centella asiatica : soothe skin
- hyaluronic acid : increase skin moisture, protect skin barrier, make skin looking youthful
- soluble collagen : make skin soft and smooth, anti aging
- licorice extract : brightening agent
- cucumber juice : soothe and hydrate skin.
- sodium hyaluronate : moist skin
the box
the packaging: it comes in a yellow/green box that's made from recycled paper and the design is retro, so it's quite whimsical and unique. perhaps all the 'dew' products come in yellow/green combination because there are other products from other line that comes in different color combination. anyway, there's a bit description and ingredients list printed on the box but there's none on the bottle. the toner itself comes in green/blue glass bottle that's see-through with a white plastic pump head covered with another white plastic cap. there's only one label at front to indicate the name of the product. the pump head works fine and i don't have any problem with it. it's 60 ml which is not much for a toner (fyi, most sample size toners are 50 ml in size).
the bottle
the scent: i don't think this one is scented, but at least it doesn't smell foul. but when i sniff it real close, i get a hint of medicated scent?
pump head
the product: they say this one is a hybrid between toner and essence. well, the consistency is just that. it's somewhat in between. it's transparent and runny but it's not completely thin watery. it has some viscosity in it. it's still easy to spread around. it feels slippery when it's freshly applied. however, it takes a few seconds for it to be absorbed.
it looks runny on my hand
the result: since it's a bit viscous, it doesn't sink in instantly. if i have to describe it, i'd say it stay on top of my skin for a few seconds before slowly sinking in. it does feel more moisturizing than hydrating. but it's expected since it's a hybrid of essence and toner, so it's supposed to do more than just basic hydration. anyway, i don't feel anything else aside from a bit moisturizing. i don't have sensitive skin so i can't say anything about its soothing properties.
the glow after spreading it around
uhm.. i'm not totally sold on this hybrid thing. i don't have problems with thicker toner, however, i don't like the slippery feeling that i get after i spread it around. how it feels like it's on top of my skin before it finally sinks in. i just don't like it. anyway, if you're looking for something thicker but still lightweight, then this might be a good option for you. i think it'll be suitable for all skin types as long as it suits your preference. price wise it's affordable. availability wise, i think you can get it from their website of their official marketplaces. as for me, this is a no for me.
