  • About me
as usual, going to japan means sunscreen haul because they regularly reformulate their sunscreens. including the famous biore uv essence. i believed most people hate their 2017 version, but after that, i think people are okay with the newer version. so obviously i want to try it myself. luckily, biore sunscreens were still easily found during my trip, so i bought them all. i've tried the watery one, the newest one in their collection so let's move on to the essence one. the most raved one used to be the essence, so let's see whether they're able to get their crown back.

this is the description from ratzillacosme (i tried to get the description from their website, but it's very ridiculous): biore uv aqua rich watery essence is a water-light japanese sunscreen for daily use. the japanese sunscreen essence features biore's micro defense formula that uses +0.2 Î¼m sized "micro uv-cut capsules" and biore's proprietary "ultra-light outer skin" technology, creating a thin and even UV-blocking film that adheres uniformly like a second layer of skin down the micro crevices. it gives the skin uniform daily protection against uv damage and has a lightweight texture and invisible finish. moisture-rich water capsules, hyaluronic acid, royal jelly, and butylene glycol keep skin moisturized. it provides long-lasting, undetectable protection against casual UV exposure without leaving a sticky or white residue. skin feels fresh, light, and smooth no matter how often it is reapplied. ideally suited for everyday wear.
- for face and body
- very resistant to water and sweat
- can be used as a makeup base
- removable with a face or body wash
gentle white muguet fragrance

the packaging: this comes with cardboard backing with description at the back in japanese. they seal the tube with plastic sealing and plastered it to the backing. you can just rip it off easily. the tube has the similar design as the previous version, minus the italic font, if i remember correctly. anyway, at the back of the tube there's another descriptions in japanese as usual. this time, they offer two sizes, 70 g and a bigger one at 120 g. i bought the 70 g one. i believe there's a fresh pouch one as well, but i didn't see it.
the packaging
the scent: i have no idea what they meant by gentle white muguet fragrance. all i know that this one is scented, not like lemon-y scent that they use to have, but there's a bit of alcohol scent when it's freshly opened. anyway, for me, the scent is very gentle, but it might not be the case for someone else. so if you're sensitive to scent, you should try the sample if you can find one before committing to buy this.
description at the back
the product: for me, it looks similar to older version. it's a milky white gel type sunscreen that's a bit runny. since it's a bit runny, i can spread it around easily. it's easy to be absorbed as well.
top: how it looks like on my hand
bottom: see? almost invisible..
the result: for me, it doesn't leave any white cast. but i'm quite fair so i might not be the best person to make a comment about the white cast. as for the finish, once it's absorbed, it doesn't leave completely matte, but a bit satin. like there's a bit glow but not too much. it works well under makeup as well. luckily, even though it's been hot these days, it doesn't melt or turn super oily during the day. protection wise, it's okay for daily use.

overall, i like how lightweight this sunscreen and i have no problem with this reformulation. however, since this is fragranced, it might not be for everybody. as for me, i don't think i'll repurchase unless i go to japan again. however, this one is a good one. i think it'll be suitable for all skin types as long as you don't mind with the fragrance.
actually i'm not that picky with my shampoo, mainly because i think it doesn't matter much in my hair care routine. but after since i have a bad hair fall incidence last year, i started to take extra care into my hair care routine. although i rarely have result with shampoo, i still try to use shampoo that's targeted for preventing hair fall. so i decided to try moist diane. i saw a lot of people buy and even hoard shampoo and hair care products whenever they go to japan, but since i have no knowledge about them at all, i never bought anything aside from hair oil, which i've only done lately as well. anyway, i didn't buy this in japan, i bought this in sociolla, so let's see how it goes. this one actually comes in set, shampoo and treatment (which is a conditioner), and an essence, but i only bought the shampoo and essence.

this is the description from guardian's website: reduces hair fall by 96% after 4 weeks usage, helps increase blood circulation of hair regeneration, reduces scalp redness, sebum and dandruff.
gentle deep cleansing: infused with organic argan oil, this shampoo creates luxurious lathering which deeply cleanses and nourishes the scalp without stripping off its natural moisture.
strenghtens hair to prevent breakage: contains protect keratin in a penetrative nano-repair formula and botanical serum that restores nutrients to each strand from within, maintaining hair's length for resilient and manageable locks.
helps boost hair growth and maintains healthy scalp: formulated with anti-inflammatory wasabi flavone that increases micro-circulation of the scalp and fortifies hair follicles to help generate hair growth. it balances the scalp to reduce dandruff and scalp sensitivity for a healthy environment to help prevent further hair fall.
the bottle
the packaging: since i don't buy it as a set, this comes in a red purplish plastic bottle with pump head. there's description and ingredients list at the back but i don't bother reading it. anyway, the bottle is huge (no wonder since it's 450 ml) that i think at first i won't be able to finish it quickly. but after watching several videos, i started to shampoo my hair twice and it helps speed up the consumption. anyway, i have a problem with the pump head. the shape is elongated to both sides and i've mistakenly thought the wrong side as the one pumping out the product, so i ended up wasting some product twice. the only difference is, the one that pumps out the product has three stripes on it while the other has nothing. but aside from that, i don't have any problem with it.
description at the back
the scent: this one is clearly scented but i don't mind. it smells nice, floral maybe? not too overwhelming so it makes my hair washing session enjoyable.
the stripes on one end indicates the one that pumps out the shampoo
the product: the shampoo is a transparent gel type that's a bit runny. i can spread it around easily and it lathers up easily. it washes off easy as well.
the opening
the result: when i just used it once, i have some problem with my scalp that i started to use another product targeted for scalp problem. however, as i started to shampoo my hair twice, i don't have any problem with my scalp anymore. i don't need that scalp product unless i'm extra sweaty and don't have time to wash my hair properly. as for the hair fall properties, it's just so-so. obviously you will shed some hair when you wash your hair, but it isn't getting any worse than it already is. so it's not getting worse, but it's not getting better either. somehow the treatment plays a bigger portion than the shampoo.
how it looks like on my hand
as i've said, this comes in a big size, so it you're looking for something that worth your money, then this might be an option. plus it smells nice. however, if you're looking for something that's effective, i don't think this one is quite effective on its own. so yeah, i probably won't repurchase.
when i went to the US, i made a long list of products that i wanted to try if I managed to get my hands on it. anyway, i didn't expect that not all stores have the same stock. so when i saw byoma at the first target, i immediately buy some because i might not encounter them next time. i actually wanted to try their balancing mist, but i couldn't find it. so at the end, i bought their toner instead.
this is the description on their website: this highly concentrated brightening facial toner works to deeply clean pores, gently removing excess oil and impurities while helping to control oil production for softer, smoother skin and a more radiant complexion. featuring our unique barrier lipid complex, this lactic and mandelic acid-based formula combined with urea and birch extracts works to gently exfoliate skin to help improve tone and texture without compromising the skin barrier.
benefits: a brightening toner that helps soften skin and control oiliness, unique barrier lipid complex helps restore the skin barrier, lactic and mandelic acids gently exfoliate, urea and birch extracts improve tone and texture, alcohol and fragrance free, gentle enough for daily use, vegan and cruelty free.
this lactic and mandelic acid-based formula gently exfoliates skin to help improve tone and texture while respecting skin barrier function. achieve balanced, radiant results as powerful as your favorite treatment - without irritation. new barrier lipid complex with the optimum concentration of ceramides and skin identical lipids delivers barrier strengthening actives to your skin in an oil-based formula for the same restorative and regenerative results you know and love from our tri-ceramide complexTM.

the packaging: there is no box so it's only the bottle. they don't even seal it with plastic sealing. but they do cover the opening with aluminum foil so everything is safe and secure. the toner itself comes in orange plastic square bottle with description at the back in english as well as ingredients list. the bottle has the same feel as the serum and moisturizer bottle, like there'a a doff layer surrounding the bottle and i can leave fingerprints on it. anyway, the top is a screw top so it's a bit of a hustle to take it off since the top is quite tall. the toner comes in 150 ml which is more than usual since usual toner comes around 100 ml.
the bottle with all the descriptions and ingredients list
the scent: this one doesn't have any added fragrance so the scent that comes from this toner is due to its ingredients. and trust me, it smells something. like a bit earthy? or spicy? i can't describe it, but as i keep using it, i get used to it. it's not that annoying, but it's noticeable. so if you want your skincare to be completely scentless, then this one might not be the one for you.
the seal
the product: the toner is a transparent watery type toner. the opening is a bit big so if i use my bare hands, sometimes i might pour too much and it's hard to put it back into the bottle since the bottle is square. anyway, i think since this is an exfoliating toner, it's better to use a cotton pad to use this toner. i try to use it with cotton pad, but i don't see any dirt on the cotton pad, unlike other exfoliating toner that i've used before. anyway, if you have acne or a tiny cuts on your face, avoid those areas while using this toner because it will sting like hell.
the opening
the result: i have a mix feeling about this toner. it's a bit hydrating but it's not much since it's not marketed as a hydrating toner. however, it does have tri-ceramide in it, so obviously it's a bit moisturizing. even though there's lactic acid in it, i don't feel it drying or irritating, perhaps because of the ceramide in it. after using this daily, i don't think it helps much with oil production but it does help calming my skin especially near my period. i don't get breakouts as bad as before. and it takes a bit faster for acne scar to lighten thanks to this toner in combination with vitamin c serum that i used daily.

overall, this toner does what it promises, so it's a good bargain for its price. however, since it's not available here, it will be pricey if you have to buy it through a preorder system. hence, not so affordable anymore. however, if you have the budget and curious about this toner, then you should try it. it's gentle enough as an exfoliating toner and not harsh on the skin. as for me, i'm glad i have the chance to try this, but unless i can buy it straight, i won't repurchase it again.

if you've read all my other US haul posts, then you'd known that i put a list on what to buy during my US trip because i don't want to waste my time. i decided to buy a lot of stuff, including hair care. i didn't know much about hair care, so i just blindly believe some reviews that i watched on IG. to be honest, i haven't even heard the brand name before, so let's see whether it works or not.

this is the description from their website: there are many issues that can contribute to hair thinning or fallout (stress, lack of sleep, vitamin deficiencies, hormonal changes, increased DHT and miRNA22 levels, impaired microcirculation and poor scalp health). frequently, it's a combination of 2 or more of these issues. that's why a holistic, 360 degree approach to hair wellness is the most effective way to promote sustainable hair health. our plant-based, multi-tasking GRO hair serum uses a combination of clinically tested, vegan phyto-actives that work in tandem to help support a healthy and balanced follicular ecosystem while soothing the scalp and revitalizing hair roots. free of toxic chemicals, carcinogens or harmful side effects, this cruelty-free, vegan hair serum is formulated with powerful phyto-actives shown in multiple clinical studies to increase the appearance of hair density while reducing signs of sheeding to bring you thicker, fuller looking hair.
the packaging
key ingredients:
- mung bean: mung bean sprouts contain hair enriching minerals such as zinc, selenium, silica, iron and vitamins A, B, C, B7 and K.
- curcumin: curcuminoids are natural polyphenol compounds derived from turmeric and are rich in antioxidants known to directly scavenge hair and damaging free-radicals.
- red clover: red clover contains hair boosting isoflavones, a class of flavonoids that exhibit antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties.
the bottle
the packaging: it comes in this peachy pink cardboard tube with description at the back in both english and french. if i remember correctly, they also seal the outer part with plastic sealing. you can pull up the upper part of the tube and then it will reveal the bottle which is placed securely on the bottom part. they also wrap the bottle with another plastic sealing. the bottle itself is a peachy pink glass bottle with gold dropper. there's a bit description at the back of the bottle. the serum is only 30 ml which might be too little to see the difference with just one bottle, but let's just see.
description at the back
the scent: this one is definitely scented, a bit fragrant. but i can't describe the scent. all i can say that it's noticeable but not too overwhelming.
how it looks like inside the dropper
the product: the serum is a clear runny serum so it's perfect to use a dropper to dispense the product. however, since the dropper is quite short, it's a bit hard to get the serum when i was about to finish it. the serum's absorbed quickly as well and it doesn't leave sticky feeling either. in fact, there's nothing noticeable once the serum is absorbed.
progress result after one whole bottle
the result: when i had finished a bottle, i read their website and i found out that you should at least use them for three months to see a noticeable result. however, since i only bought one bottle, it only lasts me a month and a half. so not enough time to see the difference. anyway, i notice that the hair fall is not as severe as before but it's not getting better either. if you see my progress picture, then you could see that it only improves slightly. i think i'd get better result if i keep using it as directed, like at least for 3 months.

anyway, i think this is a good product so if you have the money to splurge, then you should try this one. it works even though you have to be patient to see the result. as for me, since vegamour is not available here, i won't be able to repurchase and i won't buy it through a preorder shop because the price will be much higher. it's already expensive as it is, so i won't pay more. however, i think they should make bigger size since 30 ml is quite small for a hair serum.

as usual, if i ran out of products to try, i will find local brand that i never try before and look for their products. if i find something that i think will suit me, i will buy several items from them. that's the case with glad2glow. i always want to try their purple moisturizer but i had some in my stash back then, so until i use them up, i can't buy them. anyway, my stash is finally come to an end, so i was finally able to buy it. and i bought several other stuff, one of them is this centella moisturizer since i want to compare this one and the blueberry one. i've finished the other one, so let's try this one.
future me here: i've just recently found out that this one is NOT a local brand, but imported from china. i became suspicious when i saw that they launch a lot of products that looks eerily similar to other brand's. let's safe to say that i cancel my purchase list and scout something else instead. BUT, my opinion stands the same, this is a good product.

this is the translated description from their official marketplace page: moisturizer with lightweight gel texture and cooling effect to soothe skin, to heal sensitive skin and redness with a mixture of ingredients such as centella asiatica and allantoin. this moisturizer can give enough hydration and help to control oil. suitable for oily skin, acne-prone skin.
benefits: soothe skin, calm sensitive skin, help control oil, maintain hydration and skin moisture.
the tub
the packaging: this doesn't come in any box. they only seal the tub with plastic sealing. the moisturizer comes in transparent plastic tub with green screw cap. they put a sticker with a bit of description on the cap and they printed the ingredients list at the back of the tub. but it's not easy to read since they use light green for the font on transparent tub. there's a tiny spatula inside on top of the plastic separator. this comes in 30 g, just like the blueberry one. however, this one looks bigger thanks to the packaging. since the packaging is transparent, i can see the remaining product inside, which is a good thing since i can buy something else before i ran out of something completely.
ingredients list
the scent: this one has a bit of fresh feeling into it, though i'm not sure that it has added fragrance like the blueberry one.
the spatula and the sticker with description on the cap
the product: as described, this one is a transparent gel type moisturizer. this one is quite viscous but it's easily melt into watery traces. in fact, it's quite hard to scoop out of the tub with your finger since the heat from your finger can melt the product. so you have to use the spatula to scoop it out, even though it's not easy to do since the spatula is quite small. more over, the moment you put the moisturizer on top of your skin, it melts a bit instead of being transferred completely. so i have quite a difficulty to put this on my face. i like to dot my moisturizer on areas of my face before rubbing it all over, but it's not possible to do so with this one. since the one i dot might melt and start coming down on my face before i can rub it all over. if you have used this moisturizer, please tell me how you put this on your face?
yep, once again i forgot to take the picture while it's still full
the result: as i've said before, this moisturizer melts into watery traces. once it melts down, i can feel it hydrates my skin. there's a glow instantly after it's applied, but after it's completely absorbed, the glow dies down and leaves slightly matte feeling. it's a bit cooling, but not much. as for the soothing properties, i can't say for sure since my skin has calmed down tremendously so i'm in no state to judge the soothing properties.
how it looks like on my hand
the glow that it brings
i'm quite torn with the verdict. i do like this one as well as this is really lightweight considering this comes viscous gel texture. however, i have difficulty in applying it, so it's not suitable for my hectic morning. this one is also hydrating and suitable for hot days like these days, so i quite like it. however, i don't think people will dry skin would benefit from this moisturizer. i do agree that people with oily skin or acne skin will like this more. price wise, both moisturizers are affordable. if you need soothing moisturizer, then reach for this one. but if you need something slightly more moisturizing, then you should try the blueberry one. as for me, i can't pick between those two, so it's really up to your preference.
one of my US wish list is actually cocokind ceramide serum. but when i saw the price tag, i paused and hesitated. yeah sure i heard a lot of good stuff about it, but still.. i was hesitant to spend that kind of money for something that might not work for me. but i still want to try something from cocokind, so i decided to get their vitamin c serum and their moisturizer instead.

this is the description from their website: a stable vitamin c serum that helps brighten, firm and defend skin against environmental stressors. gently paired with azelaic acid to reduce the look of dark spots over time, improving uneven skin tone. hyaluronic acid and sea grape caviar help plump skin's surface with hydration and reinforce skin's moisture barrier.
key ingredients:
- ascorbyl glucoside: a stable form of vitamin c that helps brighten the look of dark spots, evens skin tone and helps boost collagen production.
- azelaic acid: a gentle and multi-functional ingredient that helps refine skin texture and tone.
- sodium hyaluronate: our source of hyaluronic acid, a pure sodium hyaluronate powder, hydrates skin to defend your skin against external factors that might stress or dehydrate it. sodium hyaluronate plumps skin with hydration to smooth and soften it over time.
- sea grape caviar extract: harvested sustainably from the Bohol Sea in the Philippines, this nutrient-rich algae hydrates skin and improves water retention by using moisture absorbed from the air.
the box
description and ingredients list on the box
the packaging: it comes in light blue box with plant-like picture at front. you can read the product name at front. at the back, there's a bit of description and ingredients list printed at the back, both in english and french. the serum itself comes in glass bottle with dropper to dispense the product. i thought at first the bottle is opaque white, but turns out, actually it's transparent but covered with white paint to make it opaque. it comes in 30 ml which is a normal size for a serum. the dropper works well, but it's a bit weird. like no matter how long i pinch the dropper, it will only take about a quarter of the dropper every time.
the bottle
a bit description at the back
the scent: this one doesn't have added fragrance, but there's a bit acidic scent in it. but the scent is not annoying. it's just noticeable when i freshly put it on my face.
how it looks like inside the dropper
the product: the serum is a transparent gel type serum that's quite runny. that's why it can still use a dropper to dispense the product. it's quite runny because when i put my hand up, it will drip down my palm. but not entirely dripping everywhere like a toner. since it's quite runny, i can spread it around easily.
the serum on my hand
the result: it immediately gives a glowy finish but it doesn't last long. it settles into satin finish once it's completely absorbed. this one is absolutely moisturizing and i don't feel any tingling after using this. when i use this, i also use a brightening toner, which is slightly exfoliating and an exfoliating serum on every other night. so it might affect the result i'm getting. i can see that it helps fading acne scars, though it's very slowly. but it's noticeable.
after blending it
i have to say that i do like this vitamin c as well. i can't even pick which one is better, this one or the naturium one. both are gentle and working well. however, both are not readily available here, so it might not be as affordable as in the US. as for me, i'm glad i got the chance to try them both, but unless i can buy them straight, i won't repurchase them through a preorder system. but if you're curious and have the budget, i suggest you try them. i think they're suitable for all skin types, so give it a go if you like.
again, i knew about the controversy regarding this brand, but i bought this before the issue came up. however, considering that most products from this brand is not working for me plus with the issue, i don't think i'll purchase anything from this brand in the future. but, let's see how this one goes as there are some people that quite like this face wash.
this is the description from their website: innovation that combine essence and cleanser in one product for deep cleansing while maintaining skin barrier. contains high quality white truffle from alba, rich in fatty acid, peptides and vitamin c to boost soft and healthy skin. enriched with amino acid as skin water reservoir to maintain skin moisture and deliver soft and tight skin. formulates with 5X ceramide to maintain skin healthy barrier. with texture like essence, very lightweight for all skin types, even sensitive skin. formulated free from alcohol, fragrance, and paraben so it's suitable to use on damaged skin barrier or sensitive skin.

hero ingredients:
- white truffle: rich in fatty acid to boost skin barrier, complete with peptide and vitamin c for soft & healthy skin
- amino acid: enhance skin water reservoir to deliver smooth and tight skin
- 5X ceramides: moisture and maintain skin barrier with 5 types of ceramide

the packaging: this comes in light brownish/oatmeal-colored box with descriptions at the back as well as ingredients list. interesting enough, i carefully search the box and i can't find "made in PRC" anywhere. it doesn't state where it was manufactured as well. anyway, this one has an added label with indonesian description which is not found on other skintific products that i've used before. the face wash itself comes in the same colored glass bottle with pump head that's secured with a stopper. there's nothing on the bottle aside from a short description at front. this comes in 80ml , which is less than the amino acid and most cleansers since mostly they are around 100 ml in size. it doesn't look much different since this one comes in tall slim appearance while the amino acid is shorter but a bit chubbier. anyway, i have a bit of a problem with the pump head. at first, i thought because sometimes i only pump halfway. but after pushing it all the way down, sometimes it still leaks through the neck of the pump, so i think it's really a malfunction.
the bottle
the scent: this one is scented and smells a bit fragrant, but not too much. it's quite subtle, so don't worry about it.
how it looks like on my foreo
the product: this one is a transparent liquid type cleanser. i think it's a lotion-type at first, but it turns out to be more liquid that i thought. however, i don't think it works well with the pump since the pump head is quite hard, it's difficult to squirt the right amount of product that i need. i often pump a bit too much or slightly less than needed. anyway, this works well with bare hands and with my foreo. however, with foreo, it bubbles up a lot more than with bare hands.
look how much it bubbles up with foreo
the result: afterward, this still feels a bit squeaky clean like most cleansers. however, this doesn't feel too drying nor too tight for my skin. in fact, this is slightly more pleasant to use compared to amino acid one.

i can see why some people like this cleanser. if i have to pick, i'd pick this one over the amino acid one. however, since this one is scented, i'm sure there are some of you who want fragrance free cleanser. in that case, you should steer clear from this one. and this one comes in a glass bottle. so perhaps it's not suitable for traveling and for those who are clumsy. aside from those things, i think this cleanser is suitable for most skin types, as long as you don't have any problems with the fragrance and all the issues surrounding this brand. as for me, i won't repurchase because it comes in glass bottle and i like something bigger in size. but feel free to try it if you're curious, it won't break your wallet if you do since it's affordable.
when i went to the US, i have a long list of stuff that i wanted to buy. including brands to try, especially the ones from the drugstore. i actually thought i would be able to get the set from versed so i can try some stuff in minis, but apparently it's not available at target, so i have to make a choice. i actually wanted to get the day moisturizer as well but at that time, i have several moisturizers in my stash so i decided not to. so i got the night cream one.

this is the description from their website: when it's time to add a night cream to your regimen, reach for one that goes above and beyond moisturizing. this repair cream works at the cellular level to smooth skin reduce rough, crepey texture, and soften lines and wrinkles. fermented purple tea doesn't just provide that dreamy lavender hue - it delivers full-spectrum antioxidant protection to fend off free radicals (like those from pollution and screen time). green coffee extract adds a burst of energy to skin cells, allowing them to quickly shed off layers of damage, while microalgae protects against the premature degradation of collagen and elastin (aka what keeps skin's structure strong and plump).

key ingredients:
- fermented purple tea (oryza sativa (purple rice) hull extract/ camellia sinensis (purple tea) leaf extract 2%)
- green coffee (coffea arabica (coffee) seedcake extract 1,5%)
- microalgae (chlorella vulgaris extract 1%)
- marula oil (sclerocarya birrea seed oil 2%)
the box and all descriptions at the back
the packaging: it comes in a taupe box with description at the back as well as the ingredients list. the design is very simple and it's the same case with the tube. the moisturizer also comes in the same taupe colored plastic tube with plastic cap to cover the pump top. there's a bit description on the tube. they use an airless pump system so the moisturizer will come from the top of the pump head. it's very hygienic since it doesn't come in contact with air unless you've pumped it out of the tube. there's a plastic seal on the opening at first but i get rid of it once i use it every night. it comes in 50 ml, so it's slightly bigger than average moisturizer that's usually comes in 30 ml.
the bottle
the scent: i don't think this one is scented, but since this has some natural ingredients, it has natural scent from the ingredients. but it's very subtle. but not too enjoyable. at least i've gotten used to it by now.
descriptions at the back of the bottle
the product: it's a purplish cream. even though it has lotion-like texture in it, it still feels rich once i spread it around. it's a bit thick but still spreadable. however, i notice if i put on a bit too much, it's a bit hard to rub it around. it gives white marks if i put on too much. so i only dot a bit for each area before spreading it around.
look.. very hygienic right?
the result: this one is quite rich so it's definitely moisturizing. it's quite occlusive that i can still feel a bit layer of moisture on top of my skin when i wash my face in the next morning. i can vouch that it's moisturizing and it is enough to fight the dryness that might be caused by the retinol and AHA BHA that i used every other day.
how it looks like on my hand
i think this moisturizer really lives up to its name as an advanced night cream since it's quite thick and moisturizing that lives up to its promise. i believe if you keep using it nightly, then it might prevent wrinkles and fine lines. i think it's suitable for dry and aging skin as it's quite rich. so if you have oily or combination, you might want to skip this as it might be too rich for you. once again, since versed it not readily available here, the price might be not so affordable anymore. however, if you can get it straight, then it's quite affordable. as for me, personally, i think it's too rich for me even though i used retinol and acid every other night. but this is too rich for my preference, so hopefully i can finish it but won't repurchase it.
among the products in my wish list that i wanted to buy from the US is good molecules serum. back when they were just launched, i wanted to try them, but i thought they would at least launch in singapore. but i was wrong. it didn't. i almost forgot about them until i heard about the travel plan. since i didn't know what to buy since it's been so long since anyone had talked about it, i decided to just buy whatever i can find there. luckily, i found out that they have a peptide serum. lately, my skin reacts well with peptide, so i decided to buy it.

this is the description from their website: target multiple signs of aging at once with super peptide serum from good molecules. this specially formulated blend of peptides and copper tripeptides helps to hydrate, brighten, and smooth for a healthy, youthful-looking glow.
target concerns: premature aging, fine lines, wrinkles, dehydration, firmness. suitable for all skin types.
key ingredients:
- copper tripeptides: reinforces the look of firmness
- acetyl hexapeptide-8 and acetyl octapeptide-3: reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
how it works:
- smooth and plump: smooth, plump and firm visible signs of aging with copper tripeptides.
- tone: reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles caused by repeated facial expressions with peptides including acetyl hexapeptide-8 and acetyl octapeptide-3
the box
the packaging: it comes in light blue box with red pattern border at the bottom. they use orange and purple for the font color so it's quite a contrast to the box. the box has the same design with the label on the bottle. there's description and ingredients list at the back of the box in english. i don't think they seal the box anything, but i might be mistaken since it's been so long since i bought it. the serum itself comes in a frosted transparent glass bottle with white dropper. the dropper is quite long so it reaches almost the bottom of the bottle. it comes in 30 ml which is the regular size of any serums.
description and ingredients list
the scent: this one is scentless and doesn't have any foul scent either.
the bottle
a tiny bit description at the back
the product: the serum is a cloudy white runny gel type serum that's easy to dispense with the dropper. i don't know why, but the dropper doesn't fully suck the serum for the whole length. but i have no problem with it since i don't need that much for my whole face since it's quite runny and easy to spread around. this works well under and over my other skincare products.

the result: this might not look much. in fact, compared to other peptide serum that i've tried in the past, this one is a lot runnier. however, it's still moisturizing enough. even though i have to use retinol and acid, i never feel my skin drying because of this serum. in fact, i kind of enjoy using this serum a lot.

it's a shame that i can't find this anywhere. this one is a simple yet great serum. i enjoy this one a lot. i think i enjoy all serums that i've bought from the US so far. anyway, i think all skin types can enjoy this serum. this one is easy to slip into your routine. price wise, in the US is quite affordable, however, if you buy this through a preorder system, it might cost much more so it won't be affordable anymore. as for me, even though i like this a lot, i won't be repurchasing this one unless i can buy it straight from the US again.
