my daily basis : foundation

I still have a love-hate situation with foundation. I didn’t like to touch up, so I was searching for a long lasting foundation, with matte finish but didn’t look like a mask on my face. My skin was also considered pretty fair for Indonesian, so I had hard time finding my shade. I prefer two way cake form because in my experience, liquid foundation could get messy since I wasn’t that skillful in applying makeup. But lately I was toward liquid foundation again.
I was happy when I tried Revlon photoready two way cake, because it made my skin look flawless. But unfortunately, my nose still got shiny after 2-3 hours. the packaging was nice, a compact black plastic box with a mirror inside and a sponge. at first i didn't realize what this TWC could do to my face, but when i was in the hospital, some nurses told me that my skin looked flawless. in fact, at that time my skin was not at her prime condition, i got some blemishes and blackheads, and my pores were still there. when i got photographed with my son, i found out that in those photos, my skin looked flawless even before they touched up the photos. so it was a good TWC for me. if others failed me, i would like to repurchase this one.
Then I tried the Revlon new complexion TWC. it was said a cream TWC made for oily skin.

About the package, it was a compact package, with sponge in the bottom compartment. It was convenience for travelling too. It was like a granny's compact powder. it didn’t have any smell. I tend to like a subtle fragrance in my cosmetics, so it was a letdown for me. But for product with that price, it was okay. But since I also changed my moisturizer, so I couldn't conclude which cause the less shine on my face. My face did shine less, but not all day. At midday, my face was all shiny, mostly on my nose. Would I repurchase it? I don’t think so. Right now, I was eyeing on max factor foundation, but since the BA wasn’t around when I was at their counter, I couldn’t find out much about it. Another reason was I still had another pan of new complexion TWC before I could purchase another foundation. *sigh*
