my beauty story nail polish

i got this as free gift for purchasing more than certain amount as advertised on their monthly promo. i do like nail polishes, but i tend to let them dried out instead of finished them. so i like to play with them for a while.. but since having kids, i'm quite afraid the scent of nail polish will do them some harm, so i tried to minimize my nail polish usage.

this is the description from their website: an amazing range of rich, glossy, long-lasting colour for nails - an easy way to punctuate your look while polishing up fingers nails (and toes) - each chosen by beauty story amazing selection for colour - lets you match nails to any mood, style or occasion. "5 free" nail polishes: no dibutyl phthalate, toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin and camphor.

my beauty story nail polishes come in 12 different colors. i got lavender.

the packaging: the packaging is like any other ordinary nail polishes. it's in a little plastic bottle looking like glass bottle. pretty tiny compared to opi nail polishes, rectangular like essie's, but since i never buy essie, i don't know the exact size comparison. but i think it's smaller than essie's.

the color: lavender is a pretty pale lavender, pretty pale. i have to swipe more than once to get the color shown on my nails. but once i can get it shown, it's pretty. like if there's a purplish nude, then this is a purplish nude. soooo prettyyy...

the staying power: okay.. since i've only bought a couple of nail polishes, i have to say this one lasts longest of all. opi, urban decay, nails inc., they all didn't last that long. with me cooking and baking, scratching and stuff.. but this one could last a week! no scratching whatsoever.

well, i do like this nail polish. i like its pretty colors and the lasting power, but still not sure on the safety issue. though they say this one has 5 free system.. but it still looks like ordinary nail polish and smells like ordinary nail polish. if you're looking for nail polish that last long and won't break your wallet, then try this one...
