cleansing is important as many korean believe, they even doing double cleansing. and i believe it. and i do love shopping for cleansing foam since there are so many varieties of them out there.. and i like to try something new. i don't think there's such a holy grail for cleansing foam, since the only important property of cleansing foam is cleansing well. without drying is another good thing from a foam. but i'm not picky.. as long it's labelled with "for oily skin" or "pore cleansing", then i'm sold.
this time i'm trying an old time goodies from skinfood. i don't know that they're expanding the original egg white line, and there are 3 different kind of egg white foams. one is meringue, one is pore foam, and the other is hard foam.

the packaging: it's exactly like pictured above. a white plastic tube with pale yellow flip top. i like how korean brands always seal the opening with aluminium foil.
the smell: i don't pick any scent, but i think it's has subtle scent, like citrus scent.
the product: it's a white foam. it doesn't form much bubbles. quite disappointing for bubble lover.
the result: i think this one cleanses dirt and makeup residue completely. also the sebum. i can feel my face squeaky clean. in comparison, more than the face shop charcoal foam, slightly more than etude house baking powder pore and bb cleansing foam. if you're concern about stripping your natural oil, then you can do a moisture test. but since i don't have the kit, i can't say for sure. all i know, after my husband used it, his skin became a little bit flaky. but since he didn't exfoliate and moisturize properly, i don't know if it's because of that of this foam is really drying.
overall, this is a nice cleanser, but i'm not sure of using it on a long time since i worry it might strip my natural face oil. so far it hasn't caused me breakouts, so it means it cleanses well. but if you asked me, so far i like the etude one best. either the bb cleansing foam or the pore one. i think i leave it to you.. fyi, this one is considered best selling items from skinfood, either in korea or globally.
