updated on missha time revolution night repair science activator

if you haven't read my initial thought on this one, you can read it here. for you who haven't known yet, i'm looking for serum for night use. my concern for my night serum is anti aging care, and helps with brightening too. from all the samples that i've tried, anything that said anti-aging, i finally conclude i will upgrade to full size on missha's one. first, because it doesn't break me out, second because i see the brightening effect on my trial, and last because it also helps moisturize my skin. another plus size is that this one is a dupe from estee lauder's ANR (but estee lauder has improved their formula now, so i don't think missha's is still a dupe for that).

okay.. let's get back into my upgrading news first. apparently i decided before reading a LOT of other reviews.
this is what they promised
the packaging: the full size bottle exactly looks like the picture. it has dropper inside to get the product. the bottle is made from glass so it's quite heavy. the dropper is similar to medicine's dropper.

the smell: like i said before, no distinct scent that bother me, so i'm happy with that. usually fermented products has strange smell, but not this one.

the product: it's a yellow liquid, not too runny, but not gel-like either. it absorbs to my skin quickly. but sometimes i feel it's a little bit sticky, but the other day it won't. i don't know what cause the difference.

the result: like i said, i like that i can see the brightening result immediately. but i don't know if it's the serum. sometimes i experience breakouts here and there. popping one by one. and i'm not testing anything new! i'm on birth control pill again, the progesterone only one, so i don't know if it interferes too. FYI, when i tested the sample, i don't drink any birth control pill.

and the bummer of all, i've just learned an interesting news about this serum. there's a new version, the borabit one. but the new missha borabit version is just a change in name, no change in formula at all. if you're hesitate, just read it here. in her long and very detailed blog post, she explained that there's no improvement in ingredient, even the retinol percentage is the same, only 0.0004%! oh bummer! i think i will have to bear with this one and finish it. meanwhile, i think i'd better to find something new, something more worth the money and doesn't break me out, on pill or not.
the box
at right you can see some english instructions

the other two sides of the bos are written in korean

the product bottle (the new one is called "borabit" which means purple since it's in a purple bottle)

the bottle opening (sorry.. forgot to take the dropper's pic)

there's a booklet inside to explain the skin regeneration process and how the product works
