freeman beauty avocado and oatmeal clay mask

if you've read my previous post about the other freeman mask, then you'll know that i purchased 5 samples of their mask just weeks before giving birth. i don't know why but lately i've been attracted to face masks like crazy. i haven't used them all and i've already gotten my eye on peter roth masks set. oh well, better finish all my samples fast! oh and anyway, actually this is the first sample that i used, but since i don't have problems with sebum as much as before, i don't use this on my entire face, and only on my t-zone only, so that's why i haven't finished it just yet.

this is the definition from their website: creamy clay mask with avocado and oatmeal purifies and nourishes for a super soft, clean finish. perfect for normal to combination skin. nourish and purify with one amazing mask! rich clays dive deep to purge dirt and oils from pores. nutrient-rich vitamin e, avocado and oatmeal moisturize for lasting skin softness. skin looks and feels squeaky clean and is soft to the touch. perfect for normal to combination skin. directions: apply mask to face and neck, avoiding contact with eyes. let dry and rinse with warm water. use two times a week or as often as needed.
key ingredients: avocado oil, oatmeal, kaolin clay.

the packaging: the full size is just like the picture above, while the sample comes in irregular shape but the same color and design as the full size one.

the scent: hmm.. this one doesn't have strong scent, but i think there's a hint of avocado scent in it, very subtle. but at least it isn't annoying, unlike my missha clay mask.

the product: this is my first colorful clay mask. it comes in bright light green, which is surprising. since my clay masks comes in sad grey and pale purple. and it's refreshing to use something so bright. the clay is really creamy. compared to innisfree super volcanic, this one is creamier. i can't compare it to my face shop mousse clay mask since it's a mousse, not an ordinary clay mask. i can spread it on my face as easy as the other two clay masks, but this one dries up as quickly as the innisfree one. but it's not as stiff as the innisfree one once it's dried up. it's easy to wash too. the packaging stated that it's up to 4 usages, but most people said that it's only last for couple usages only. but since i only use it full face once and only on t zone for the rest of the sample, it can last up to 5 times and it hasn't finished yet. i also feel slightly cooling effect after applying it, but i don't know if it's meant to be soothing as well or not. as it dries up, i can feel slightly tight feeling especially on my cheeks.

the result: i have to agree that it makes my skin squeaky clean and soft to touch. in fact after several time using this, i can feel my skin softer. and cleaner. as for the sebum control, since i don't have quite the problem anymore, i can't say about its effectiveness. but if you have dry skin, then you will need to moisturize really well afterwards since it might be too drying for you.

i think i like this one as much as my face shop one. it might be a good substitute for my wallet since it's cheaper. but again, since i don't use clay mask as often as before, i think buying samples will be wiser. but if you have combination or oily skin, and looking for effective yet cheap clay mask, then try this one.
