freeman beauty pomegranate revealing peel-off mask

this is the last freeman mask sample/travel size that i bought on my first batch. this will be my second peel off mask, so i will be comparing it to my sulwhasoo clarifying mask.

this is the description from their website: peel off mask with super nutrients you'll only find in naturel pomegranate and 8-antioxidant blend gets you gorgeous. immerse skin with super nutrients found only in nature. this pomegranate-infused mask gently purges dirt and excess oils from skin for a cleaner, refined surface. an 8-antioxidant blend of acai, blueberry, cranberry, goji, mango, mangosteen, noni, and pomegranate guard against free radicals and environmental stress. get gorgeous as you reveal fresher skin. perfect for all skin types.

the packaging: like the full size, this comes in a pink sachet, the same size and shape as the others. there's descriptions at the back just like the others too. since this is a peel off mask, a sachet/travel size lasts me twice uses.

the scent: i have tried another pomegranate product before from innisfree, and this one doesn't smell like pome. more like a sweet/fragrant glue, but it dissipates when the mask is being applied on face.

the product: the mask is a transparent jelly with purplish hue. when you applied it, it will look transparent, but on clean clear container, you can see the hint of purple in it. the mask itself is very sticky, stickier than sulwhasoo's. it's hard to spread it on my face since it's very sticky. and stringy too, so it's slightly messy when i tried to put it on my face. i had to pull the container close to my face so it won't drip down on my sink. i don't have any spatula, but i think it will be easier to scoop and spread it on your face using a spatula. the mask will dry after about 20 minutes and it peels off easier than sulwhasoo's. it comes off in one big piece. which is quite satisfying.

the result: i can feel my skin is softer afterwards, and a little bit brighten. i don't experience any breakouts nor purging from this mask.

compared to sulwhasoo, i don't like the messy application from this mask. but i do like how it brightens my face more visibly (just slightly) than sulwhasoo's. and it comes off easier too. but somehow i like sulwhasoo better. the herbal scent is more bearable than the glue scent. but if you're considering the price, then grab freeman since it's way cheaper than sulwhasoo. overall, i think it will suit anyone that like peel off mask, a peel off mask beginner or a budget buyer.
