azarine revitalizing anti aging serum

azarine released a bunch of serums in marvel designs. at that time, i still have several serums in my stash, so i can't just go buy them. but at that time, i almost finished my vitamin c serum, so i bought that at first and i'm impressed. then on my next visit to sociolla, i decided to take a look at all of them and i wanted to try their bakuchiol serum first since i still have some retinol serum. since i try true to skin bakuchiol serum, i like to try other bakuchiol serums on the market as well, so i guess why not.

this is the description translated from their website: retinol alternative youth preserve fade lines and wrinkles. newest innovation! anti aging serum with korean bakuchiol plant extract (vegan) as retinol alternative with multi-peptide technology and stem cell. anti-aging serum with peptide and bakuchiol to fade wrinkles and treat blemish skin. this serum is an alternative for pregnant and lactating mothers, and sensitive skin. formulated with stem cell technology to precipitate collagen production in the skin so it looks tight and wrinkle free.

the box
the packaging: it comes in purple box with marvel design at front (i honestly don't know what kind of picture is this), there's description and ingredients list in english and indonesian at the back and on the side. the bottle is purple see-through glass bottle with white cap. they choose dropper to dispense the product. i have no problem with the dropper and it works well until the end. the serum only comes in 20 ml, which seems to be the norm among local brands. but it's less than other serums used to be.
description on the box
the scent: i think all bakuchiol serums have this slightly foul scent because of the ingredients. it's as bad as the previous elsheskin and also the inkey list moisturizer. yeah sure, it doesn't last, but it's still annoying. i just wish they add fragrance to cover the foul scent.
the bottle
the product: the serum is a transparent gel type serum that's quite thick. but it turns water when i spread it around. it takes a minute or two to be completely absorbed. aside from bakuchiol, this serum also contains peptide, sodium hyaluronate and cica. it also contains glycolic acid but there's no percentage how much it is.

the result: i have to say that sadly, i see no difference after using this serum. it doesn't help the retinol to fight acne like true to skin one. it's just hydrating and a bit moisturizing. however, i notice that this helps with exfoliation. i helps lighten up my acne scar faster in combination with sunday riley GG serum and vitamin c serum.
how it looks like on my hand
after blending it
actually i'm quite disappointed with this serum. with a lot of people raving about this one, i had hoped that it will work well for me too. but apparently, that's not the case. this one doesn't work for me. but i think it's a good one. it's hydrating and gentle enough but still exfoliate your skin. if you think you can't use retinol or you're breastfeeding or pregnant, then you can try this serum. it's very affordable, like crazy affordable. even without sale. i honestly have no idea how they could do it. as for me, between the vitamin c and bakuchiol serum from azarine that i've tried, i like the vitamin c better. as you've guessed, i won't repurchase this.
