azarine hydrosoothe sunscreen gel

i was about to buy azarine sunscreens when they were first launched. but i still had a lot of sunscreens in my stash, so i halted that plan. but i realized i finish my sunscreen faster than before, so i decided to buy them at the end, but only two out of four. well, three if you count the mist, but the mist is basically the same as this one, only in different format. anyway, i bought the hydramax and hydrosoothe since both has SPF 45 and SPF 50. the other two only have SPF 35, which is not enough for a hot and humid weather like where i live. i've tried the hydramax one and i quite like it, so this time, hopefully the hydrosoothe also works for me.

this is the translated description from their website: gel type sunscreen to moist and soothe skin as well as to protect skin from the sun damage. enriched with natural extracts that are beneficial for skin like royal jelly, aloe vera, green tea, and resveratrol. this gel texture is cool and lightweight so it's easy to be absorbed and doesn't leave any white cast on the skin. suitable for normal, oily, combination, acne prone skin or acne skin.
the tube
the packaging: this doesn't come in any box, unless you bought this in a set. then it will come in a box. they only seal the tube with plastic sealing. anyway, all azarine sunscreen comes in a plastic squeeze tube with flip top, just like a facial wash. however, they have different colors according to the type. for hydramax, the dominant color is orange while for hydrosoothe, it's green and yellow. there's description at the back in indonesian as well as the ingredients list. it comes in 50 ml which is not as big as korean sunscreen, but it's the usual size for local sunscreen. however, the tube makes it look bigger than the real size, so it's a bit deceiving.
description at the back
the scent: this one is scentless. it doesn't have that distinctive sunscreen scent so it's a relief.
the flip top
the product: it's just as marketed. a white gel type sunscreen. it's quite viscous, almost like hydramax. but once i spread it around, i can feel that it's more lightweight than the hydramax. it's easy to spread around and once it's absorbed, there's no white cast at all.
how it looks like on my hand
the result: this one is really lightweight and slightly moist, not as moist as hydramax though. sometimes i avoid putting on moisturizer if i think my skin is too oily. up until i finish this sunscreen, i don't have any problem with this sunscreen. it doesn't break me out and the protection is good.
subtle glow that it gives afterward
i like both sunscreens. but perhapy hydramax for cooler weather and hydrosoothe for hot weather? if you have dry skin, hydramax is a better option for you, but if you have oily skin, then hydrosoothe would be better. as for me, i'd like to put both of them to maybe repurchase list because i like them both. they're very affordable and easy to get, so if you want to try it, then give it a try.
