this is another sheet mask that i received for free from amabie, along with other goodies that i have to reviewed honestly. so, although i received this mask for free, my review will be completely honest.
this is the description that i got from soo ae website: calm and soothe troubled and sensitive skin with tea tree leaf extract, an excellent and proven anti-inflammatory ingredient used for centuries to treat and heal acne and wounds.
the packaging: just like the cucumber one, this one also comes in white sachet with the tea tree as main ingredient pictured at front. there's a description at the front and back of the sachet.
the scent: okay, since the other tea tree product that i have tried was body shop tea tree treatment, so i don't know which one has the correct tea tree scent. all i can say that this mask doesn't smell like the bodyshop one. so perhaps it has different spectrum of tea tree scent. overall, the scent is not too overpowering, but not something for my taste either.
the product: the mask is similar to the cucumber one. it was made from thick patterned sheet. the fit is also similar as cucumber, with big holes, too big for me. the essence is clear type essence and very generous. the mask is soaking with the mask. initially it drips down to my neck the first time i put it on my face. but no excess in the sachet.
the result: immediately upon putting it on my face i can feel the cooling sensation. i use it for about 40 minutes and the edges started to dry out. then i removed it. afterward i can feel that it moisturizes my skin but moderately. i can say that it soothes my skin slightly, but other than boost hydration, i don't feel and see anything else.
overall, this is just an ordinary sheet mask, not definitely a keeper for me. it's nice to try this but i won't purchase it on my own if i could find it. but, still, thank you amabie for sending this mask for me to try. i think this can be used by everyone, but tea tree is famous for their anti-inflammatory properties, so perhaps troubled skin can benefit from this mask.
