fss has been one of few local brands that came up with skincare products earlier. but later they somehow got lost in the game and haven't released anything new since they first released their products. anyway, one of their product that caught my eye was their eye gel. i wanted to try it for so long but eye creams are hard to finish since i only need tiny bit so it took me sometime to finally finish my eye creams. anyway, i bought it and opened it, so let's see how it goes.
this is the description from their website: this eye gel uses matrixyl 3000 as its star ingredient, a specific type of peptides that is proven to fight aging. it works by stimulating collagen synthesis and to repair damages. this leaves the skin firmer, smoother and more youthful looking. suitable for all skin types. for adult skin (25+). recommended to be used at day and night. this eye gel is light in texture and white-clearish in color. it absorbs quickly and has cooling sensation to it. non greasy, no animal testing, no paraben, no dyes, no fragrance.

description on the box |
the packaging: it comes in a combination of light pinkish beige/purple box. FSS color coded their products. i don't know if the purple ones mean eye products. so far i knew the yellow one is vitamin c, the red one contains retinol or its derivatives, and blue contains hyaluronic acid. there's description on the box as well as the ingredients list in english. they seal the top part of the box with sticker. the eye cream comes in a dark brown plastic tub with similar label as the box. they cover the product with plastic separator. it comes in 15 ml but it looks much because they put it in a tub. maybe it won't look that much if they put it in a tube.

the tub |
the scent: this one is scentless. a bit foul in fact, probably because the ingredients inside. they put a lot of extracts so i bet it affects the scent of the product. i think it's a good thing for an eye cream to be scentless, so even sensitive skin can use it as well.

how it looks like on the tub |
the product: actually i was surprised when i first saw the eye gel. i thought it has gone bad. but turns out there's nothing wrong with it. the eye gel is a cloudy white but still see-through gel. it's quite thick so it's hard to pick up without any spatula. once i put it on my under eyes, it melts by the warmth from my fingertips. it has enough slip to spread it around without dragging the skin underneath. it doesn't feel tacky afterward.

the result: it's quite moisturizing, i can feel my under eyes area soft after using this eye gel. from the progress picture you can see that there's not much difference when i started using this eye gel and after a month. it helps reducing puffiness and put dark circles at bay. however, for fine lines, it might take longer time to see the difference.
i have to say that this eye gel works well. i don't see my under eyes area got worse after changing into this eye gel. let me remind you that before using this eye gel, i've been using sulwhasoo eye cream, so price wise, obviously this is much cheaper. if don't mind with the packaging, then this might be a good option if you're looking for an all-rounder eye care. as for me, i don't like tub packaging, so i might not repurchase this one.
