  • About me
i had good experience with erhair product (the one for the scalp which i completely forget the name), i wanted to try their other products as well. at that time, i had mild hair loss problem, so i bought the shampoo without having any expectation. and then, we had a short trip to singapore. i knew that we would be swimming there, considering the kids love swimming, so from past experience (read: europe trip), i decided to bring some hair products this time, including this shampoo. i have to say i'm glad that i brought this with me.

this is the description translated from their website: shampoo that cleanse and helps strengthen hair roots so it reduces hair loss. it helps reducing hair loss since the second week. 7 out of 10 women agree that hair loss is reduced and has more volume in 4 weeks.

main ingredients:
- panax ginseng extract: strengthen blood microcirculation on the scalp for more optimum nutrition absorption.
- pumpkin seed extract: inhibit DHT (dihydrotestosterone) which is baldness-trigger hormone.
- panthenol and almond milk extract: duo moisturizing agent that helps maintain hair moisture.
the bottle
the packaging: there's no box so there's only the bottle. i forgot whether they wrapped the bottle with plastic or not. the bottle itself is a white/teal plastic bottle with flip top. there's description as well as ingredients list at the back of the bottle the opening is enough for the shampoo to come out comfortably. i didn't know that there are 3 sizes available, but mine is the 100 ml one. it's quite small that i can bring it with me during my singapore trip, but at home, it won't be enough, especially if you wash your hair every other day.

the scent: actually i've forgotten how this smells like. but this one has subtle scent which is not overwhelming at all.

the product: the shampoo is yellowish gel-type shampoo. it's runny enough so it's easy to spread around. however, this one gives low to no bubble, so if you're used to a bubbling shampoo, then you'll be confused when you used this shampoo. at first, i also confused. i was hesitating whether i've used enough to lather all my hair or not. that's why i used more than i usually do since it's hard to decide whether the shampoo has covered all my hair or not.
description and ingredients list at the back
the result: i have to say that even though i wash my hair almost everyday (and really everyday during my last three days in singapore since i swam every day to accompany my kids) and the water is changing since i was traveling, the shampoo works well. i don't suffer from severe hair loss. in fact, i notice there's less hair fall on the drainage cover after using this shampoo. unfortunately, there's a down side. my scalp gets oily easier with this shampoo and then it becomes flaky. i got dandruff again after using this shampoo regularly.

that being said, even though this shampoo is effective in preventing hair loss, i have to choose not to repurchase it because it makes me get dandruff again. so sad. anyway, if you're looking for affordable but effective hair loss shampoo, give this one a try. among all hair loss shampoo that i've tried, this one is the only one that works well even though being used alone (without mask/conditioner/ hair tonic from the same line).

i've been contemplating about trying BHA again after my skin got worse awhile back. i've been using retinol at night regularly, but it didn't help much with PMS acne. since i stopped taking contraception pills, my acne got worse around PMS period so i've been thinking of adding BHA into my routine. so when my skin got worse, i bought this serum instantly. back then, all somethinc serums didn't have box, but now they do. so when i bought this, it's already come in box. let's see how it goes.

this is the description from their website: acne treatment solution. an effective salicylic acid core dose serum that functions to 4x action acne combat & reduce stubborn blackheads, by exfoliating & get rid of clogged pores. formulated with maclura cochinchinensis leaf prenylflavonoids which are able to minimize bacteria and reduce excess sebum on skin. this serum is also enhanced with natural soother which keeps the skin hydrated and hence it is perfect for daily use.

description and ingredients list on the box
ingredients list: Water, Propanediol, Cocamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Pentylene Glycol, Panthenol, Sodium PCA, 1,2-Hexanediol, C12-14 Pareth-12, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Caprylyl Glycol, Eclipta Prostrata Extract, Coccinia Indica Fruit Extract, Sodium Hydroxide, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Citrate, Poria Cocos Extract, Phragmites Communis Extract, Citric Acid, Maclura Cochinchinensis Leaf Prenylflavonoids, Sodium benzoate, Sodium Phytate, Disodium Phosphate, Polysorbate 60, Sodium Phosphate, Tocopherol
the bottle
the packaging: it comes in a box with the picture of the product at front. there's description at the back in english and the ingredients list. the serum itself comes in transparent glass bottle with white plastic pump head. you can turn the pump head to lock it. unfortunately, there's no sign which way is locked, which way is unlocked, so in case you forgot, you have to risk pressing the head while it's unlocked. the size of the serum is 20 ml, which is the standard size for all somethinc serum. yeah, it's not much, but i'm not complaining since i can finish them faster and move on to other stuff.
the pump head
the scent: this one is scentless, which is good since i remembered cosrx BHA that i used to use before had a bit foul scent.
how it looks like on my hand
the product: the serum looks pinkish in the bottle, but it looks transparent on my hand. but then again, i only use one pump for my whole face, so maybe it's pinkish but since i only use a little, it isn't shown. the serum is liquid in consistency, just like water so it's easy to spread around and quickly absorbed. i only use this on my face only (mainly around T-zone area) and just pat the remaining product elsewhere on my face.
after blending it out
the result: after patting it, i can feel my skin is moist afterward. it doesn't dry my skin out. at first i used this until my neck, but on the second day, my neck got irritated. it became red and dry instantly. i stopped using this on my neck and treated my neck area with a soothing serum and now my neck area is okay. so now, i'm only focusing this serum on my face only, especially around T-zone. since this is moisturizing, i don't find it drying at all. i don't think it helps controlling the sebum much, but on hot days, i can see that it helps regulate it a bit. maybe because i countered the dryness effect with the soothing serum, so my face is still glowing and well moisturized. however, it helps with acne much. even though i still suffer acne here and there because of mask using, but it dries out quickly and it isn't as painful as it used to be. around my period, even though i still suffer hormonal acne, somehow it isn't as bad as before.
left: at the beginning
right: after i finish the bottle
(you can see that i have less blackhead)
i have to say this is quite gentle, but you have to be careful though. you should still remember to use hydrating or moisturizing serum to counteract the dryness and top if off with moisturizer. it's okay to use daily as long as you remember to hydrate and moisture your skin. price wise and availability wise, it's affordable and easy to get. plus, somethinc often holds sales and even though it's out of stock, they're quite fast to restocked it. anyway, i want to compare this BHA serum with other BHA serum on the market right now. i'm eyeing the skintific or the the reset one. after that, i'll let you know which one i like better.
if you read my other posts, you'd figure out that i was buying somethinc mini size products for travelling purpose since i ran out of travel set. luckily, somethinc had most of the stuff that i needed, including the cleansing oil. i never tried their cleansing oil before, so let's see how it goes.

this is the description from their website: deeply cleanse off without clogging pores. a vegan cleansing oil that works well to clean waterproof makeup, sebum, dust and dirt completely. equipped with micelle technology which has the ability to bind dirt and turn it into milky texture when in contact with water, thus making the skin clean without leaving any residue and it is non stripping.
star ingredients:
- squalane: it is a lightweight and non comedogenic oil that does not clog pores. functions as natural moisturizing factors (NMF) to maintain skin moisture and does not strip the skin. squalane also functions as an antioxidant that can prevent skin damage when exposed to UV rays, it helps to keep the skin supple, youthful and hydrated.
- hydrogenated olea europaea unsaponifiables: it is an oil obtained from olives. rich in phytosterols and glycolipids, which are good for dry and sensitive skin. phytosterols are moleculs similar to cholesterol that nourishes skin, while glycolipids are able to maintain skin moisture.
the packaging
the packaging: this comes without any box. they probably just seal the bottle with plastic sealing but i can't know for sure since i honestly forgot about it. the bottle is transparent with silver and blue label and purple screw cap for the mini size. they use pump for the full size bottle but the rest of the design is the same between the full size one and the mini one. there's description at the back as well as the ingredients list but the font is so tiny that i don't even bother to read it. the full size one is 100 ml while the mini one is 40 ml. both are decent size. i brought this for 12 days traveling (10 days use since i didn't use it on the plane), and there's some left after i got home.
description at the back
the scent: luckily, it doesn't smell like olive oil even though it contains one. i despise the famous DHC cleansing oil because of the scent that i always hold my breath whenever i use it. so, i'm glad this one is scentless without any foul scent.
right: the plastic cover on the opening (fyi, i kept it on because i thought it would be safer during traveling with the cover on)
left: the opening after taking off the cover
the product: the oil is quite runny, similar to hada labo one. however, when i brought this with me, i knew that the air in the cabin was freezing cold, and the hotel AC was quite cold, so somehow, it freezes the remnants of the oil around the opening and it became solidified. i almost had a hard time opening it since it froze, but the oil in the bottle didn't. anyway, i'm glad this one doesn't sting my eyes and yes, i use this to remove my mascara as well. it emulsifies a bit after i add water.
how it looks like on my hand
the result: cleansing power is good. it can remove my mascara, but it's not the heroine one, so i can't say about the strength since i don't have that mascara in my stash. so far it's the most difficult mascara to remove that i ever tried. as for the rest of my makeup, this one can clean them up without any problem, so yeah, love it. as for non stripping, it depends on the second cleanser for me though, since i always double cleanse.

again, love this one. i will keep buying it unless i find other travel set that i want to try. if you don't want to commit to the full size or you're looking for traveling stuff, then this might be a good option. if you like cleansing oil, that is. price wise, it's affordable plus somethinc often holds sales, so snatch them while they're on sales.
i was contemplating between pre-ordering rare beauty tinted moisturizer or nars foundation, or... getting a local brand concealer and skin tint. i was eyeing mad for makeup concealer or RADC concealer one. unfortunately, at that time, RADC concealer one was out of stock for my shade, and this one was sold out in my shade as well, but the special edition in BT21 version still had my shade, so i decided to get this one. i was intrigued as they promoted their products as a 2-in-1, a makeup infused with skincare. looking at the reviews, mostly it gave positive comebacks, so hopefully it also works out for me.
the box
this is translated from their website: serum concealer to cover and to spot-less, no crease serum concealer. ultra light. high enough to cover dark spots and acne scars. 3% cica + 2% B3 + HA serum. acne safe and clean (safe for acne skin). long lasting, waterproof. creaseless and eyebag-less. pigmented enough to cover, light enough to layer. serum that brightens and hydrates - cover spots and redness on face, smooths and evens out skin tone. formulated with cica, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid that helps to hydrate and maintain skin health.
there are 9 shades to choose from.
ingredients list at the back
the packaging: since mine is the BT21 version, the box has BT21 picture at front, shade name on top and description at the back. the concealer comes in unusual shape. it comes in slim block shape which is weird since usually concealers come in cylindrical tube. again, there's a BT21 character at front (the original version only has spotless written at front) and shade name at the bottom. anyway, the bottle is quite short, and it has twisted cap connected to the wand to apply the concealer. the doe foot is small but it's perfect to spot conceal and pick up just the right amount of product. the size is ...
the shade: there are 9 shades to choose from, ranging from light, medium to deep and each category is differentiated to cool, neutral and warm tone. mine is C1 carbonara which is cool light one. well, i pick the one that match my skin tone because i don't intend to brighten my face. i want something for under eyes but not to brightening but i can use it as spot conceal as well, especially if i'm too lazy to do my base, then i'll just use concealer on problematic area and set it with powder. anyway, the shade is okay for me.
shade name
the product: the concealer is on the runny side. the last time i used concealer was the catrice one and it's pretty thick. compared to MUR one, this one is a bit thicker. for me, the consistency is just right, not too runny but not too thick.
the wand
the result: i think it has medium coverage. it can cover my dark under eyes as well as the redness on my face and around my acne. it definitely has more coverage than MUR one but not as thick as catrice that it's hard to blend. this one is easy to blend, either with finger or with brush. even though it's said that it contains skincare benefit, i don't use it regularly to see the effect, but i can agree that it doesn't dry out the skin around acne area. usually concealer will make it dry and when i set it with powder, it cracks after a few hour, but i don't experience that with this concealer.
how it looks like on my hand
i have to say i'm satisfied with this concealer. i'm relieved that the shade match me. even though that they're only 9 shades, i heard that they're considering to add more shades, so maybe if you can't find your match before, wait a little bit until they extend the shades. anyway, i'm worried about the shape since it's unusual. can i get all the product inside until it's empty? or will some left inside the tube and can't be scraped off? anyway, you can buy them from sociolla or their official market place. the price is slightly more expensive than other brands, but it's still reasonable. i'm not someone who use concealer on daily basis, so maybe i won't repurchase just because i don't use concealer much. i just bought this out of curiosity and i'm glad that it fits my expectation. if you're looking for concealer with decent coverage that's suitable for daily wear, i suggest you give this a try.
i forgot where i noticed this sunscreen because everytime i went to japan, i felt overwhelmed with the sunscreen that they offered there. i pick this up because i remembered someone in my instagram recommended it, but i can't recall who that was. anyway, sadly this one is discontinued already, which is not surprising since japan always reformulated their sunscreen every 3 years. finger crossed that i'll find something else as good as this one when i visit japan next month.
the packaging
this is the description from kokorojapanstore website: prevents stains and freckles from sunburns. it also prevents UVA that causes low tension and elasticity. it flutters like water and quickly blends with it. for smooth skin like bare skin. smooth powder formula. it fits quickly so you can quickly change up your makeup. no white residue. protects your skin from dry damage caused by UV rays. moisturizing ingredients: penetrating hyaluronic acid. for face and body. can also be used as a makeup base. fragrance free, color free, allergy testes. it can be removed by using soap, facial cleansing and full body cleaning agents. not waterproof.
the bottle
the packaging: it comes in plastic pouch because mine had a bonus sample size of another sunscreen type. usually it will only comes with a cardboard backing and covered with transparent plastic. description at the back of the pouch was all japanese so i can't understand a thing. thanks to google translate, i managed to find that the sample is for more waterproof activities, while this one is more suitable for daily. anyway, the sunscreen comes in light blue plastic bottle with screw cap. it has short spout to dispense the product. there's description as well as ingredients list at the back of the bottle but everything is in japanese. it comes in 100 ml which might sound a lot, but might not be the case if you keep reading.
description at the back
the scent: this one doesn't have any distinctive scent, but i'm not sniffing closely, so it might have subtle scent.
the spout
the product: this one is liquid. so it's watery. once you tip the bottle upside down, the sunscreen will trickle out from the spout. you have to shake it first before use though. since this is liquid, obviously you will need more to cover the bare minimum requirement, that's why i say that 100 ml might not sound a lot since you have to use more.
how it looks like
the result: this one is quick absorbing since it is liquid and once absorbed, it leaves matte finish and doesn't feel sticky at all. this holds well under hot and humid weather and i think it's still okay for reapplying. it doesn't feel heavy at all. at first, it will look white but as i keep spreading it around, it eventually sinks in without any white cast. however, i'm quite fair so you might want to check with people with darker skin tone to make sure that this one really doesn't leave white cast.
after being absorbed
i have to say that i like this one, even though i don't quite like that it comes in liquid so i have to apply it in layers to get the bare minimum requirement. it's a bit time consuming whenever i'm in such a rush in the morning. unfortunately, they've discontinued this one. but i've heard that biore launched similar sunscreen like this, so probably it's similar? i'll do another sunscreen hunting when i can visit japan, so for now let's just finish this first. if you happen to find the remaining batch of this one, snatch it and try it yourself if you have combination to oily skin and live in hot country. it will surely suitable for you.

i honestly had no idea why i bought this toner. probably because i have no interest in other toners that are around at the market right now. so i guess why not give this a try. anyway, this toner has been around for quite some time now, so it's nothing new. but i guess won't hurt to try now.

this is the description on their website: toner and essence in one product. effectively hydrates the skin, brightens the skin, maintain healthy pH level of your skin, nourishment from carefully selected non-irritating plant extracts. contains a variety of hydrators (glycerin, butylene glycol, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, portulaca oleracea extract, panthenol, mulbery extract, centella asiatica extract, sodium hyaluronate), skin brighteners (mulberrry extract, licorice extract, raspberry extract), wound healing agent (centella asiatica extract).
the box
ingredients list: Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, 1,2 - Hexanediol, Panthenol, Morus Alba Fruit (Mulberry) Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Root Extract, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Extract, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Citric Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ethylhexylglycerin
description at the back and ingredients list
the packaging: it comes in white box with hale name written in blue text. somehow i think it's hale signature with that color combination. the toner also comes in plastic bottle with similar design as the box, in opaque white plastic bottle with white plastic screw cap. the opening of the bottle is actually the usual size for toner, if not bigger, but somehow it doesn't pour out as easily as the previous toner that i use. but i get used to it pretty quick. the toner comes in 100 ml which is just the normal size of toner but since the bottle is a bit short, it looks less than usual.
the bottle
the scent: this is scentless and there's no funky smell from the ingredients as well. however... they claim this toner is alcohol free, but during the first few uses, i think i can smell strong scent like alcohol every time i open the bottle. i don't know what causes it, but it's not alcohol since you can see in the ingredients list that there's truly no alcohol in it. however, the scent dissipates over time.
the opening
the product: this is a watery type toner, so the toner looks like one and it's runny just like water. when it's on my hand, i thought there's a bit viscosity into it, but it spreads around and glides easily like water. since it's very runny, it's supposed to sink in quickly, but somehow, once it's spread around, there's a slippery feeling that stays for quite a bit. like there's a layer on top of my skin. but luckily, i can still use other products on top of it and it doesn't pill.
how it looks like on my hand
the result: as i've said before, after spreading it around my face, i immediately feel there's a layer of moisture on top of my skin. no matter how hard i rub it, the feeling is still there. somehow it reminds me of studio tropik herbitus toner. luckily, i can still use other products on top of this toner without any pilling. however, i can't judge the performance since the feeling is kind of clouding my judgement. all i can say that it does hydrate my skin since i don't experience any dryness even though i use actives like BHA serum and retinol serum. however, i also learn that compared to studio tropik herbitus one, this one is less hydrating. i have to add additional serum now in the morning when i use my BHA serum.
after patted it
i have to say that it doesn't feel enjoyable since i use this toner. somehow i don't like the after feeling after using this toner. but if you have no problem with it, then you should try it. the price is still reasonable and the size is nice as well. i think this might be suitable for all skin type as you can layer it if needed. but if you have dry to extremely dry skin, i don't it will be enough for you. as for me, since i don't quite like the feeling, i won't repurchase it again.
i don't know why but somehow i like whitelab more than avoskin. their products are quite okay for me. that's why i decided to try their retinoid product. i didn't check their complete line up before buying this one, so later i find out that there are two retinoid products actually. one is this one, which is the older one. and the other one is the encapsulated retinol one. both products are interesting but i decided to try the granactive one first as it also contains peptide and beta glucan.

this is the description translated from their website: with main ingredients granactive retinoid 1% and peptide and beta glucan, whitelab intensive care serum uses granactive retinoid 1% which is the newer generation of advanced retinoid that gives similar benefit as retinol but with minimum irritation and effective to be used daily. with granactive retinoid 1%, it can help reducing aging signs such as wrinkles and fine lines on the skin and helps fade acne scars. peptide helps increase skin elasticity and tighten the skin. while beta glucan helps to strengthen skin barrier and smoothes and brightens the skin.
the box
ingredients list: aqua, isohexadecane, caprylic/ capric triglyceride, propanediol, niacinamide, polyacrylamide, aluminum starch, octenylsuccinate, hydroxypinacolone retinoate (1%), glycerin, trimethylpentanediol/ adipic acid copolymer, PEG-6 caprylic/ capric glycerides, c13-14 isoparrafin, c9-11 pareth-6, sodium PCA, DMDM hydantoin, dimethyl isosorbide, allantoin, dipotassium glycryrrhizate, palmitoyl tripeptide-1, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7, beta glucan, sodium hyaluronate, xanthan gum, parfum
description and ingredients list on the box
the packaging: just like other whitelab products, it comes in a white box with distinctive design for whitelab that's similar all across their products. there's description at the back as well as the ingredients list printed on the box. the serum comes in transparent glass bottle with label that has the same design as the box. since it's transparent, you can see the remaining product inside. it only comes in 15 ml, which is half the size of usual serum, slightly less than somethinc serums that come in 20 ml. this serum uses dropper to dispense the product and i have no problem with the dropper.
the bottle
the scent: every whitelab products has signature scents, that's slightly floral. the scent is subtle and for me it's enjoyable. but if you're sensitive to scent, then you should skip this one.
how it looks like on the dropper
the product: the serum is a yellowish milky gel type serum that's quite viscous. i use the whole dropper for my whole face and neck. even though it's viscous, it spreads around easily but it takes a minute or two to be absorbed. afterward, it's a bit tacky but not too much. i can still layer it with other skincare products in my routine without pilling or anything. looking at the ingredients list, it contains other stuff as well like niacinamide, glycerin, sodium PCA, several types of peptides and even beta glucan and allantoin.
how it looks like on my hand
the result: i start using this every other day since i've tried other retinoid products. after two weeks, i use this every night and it doesn't give my any problems. i don't experience any dryness or other reactions from using this retinoid. fyi, i use hydrating toner, retinoid, moisturizing serum and then a moisturizer that contains retinyl palmitate. even then, it doesn't react badly. i can see that combined with BHA that i use in the morning, it helps with hormonal acne that i usually get around my period. i don't get it as bad as before. and it helps speeding up the healing process if i ever get acne. another effect that i notice is that my skin looks glowing. i thought it's only a dream to see my skin glowing, but i start to get see it, especially on my forehead and cheeks area. as if i'm using highlighter from the inside. i just wish the skin around my lips and chin experience the same thing. sigh. i think using mask regularly still cause maskne on me.
after blending it out
anyway, i can say that this retinoid is quite gentle. i can use it daily without experience any dryness. if you're beginner in retinol, then you can give this a go. only if you don't mind with scented skincare product, that is. it's very affordable as well, so it won't break your wallet. whitelab is also easy to get from their official channels and several online shops as well. i have other retinol serum in my stash, so i'd probably won't repurchase this again. but this is one of my favorite.
i wanted to try their eye gel, the old tripeptide one, but at that time, i had several eye creams in my stash already, so i didn't buy it. i was curious about their ceramic tip, but it didn't make me curious enough so i postponed my plan to buy it. but then, i finally managed to finish one of two eye creams that i used at that time, so i decided to buy it at last. however, at that time, they've released another version of this eye gel. a newer one. with different ingredients. and i have to say that i'm interested in the new one rather than the old one, so i bought the second version.

the packaging: it comes in turqoise box with the picture of the product at front with description and ingredients list on the side. let me remind you that at this point, somethinc has two type of eye gels, one is tripeptide one, and the other is this one, which is the game changer. both eye gel has similar design, so make sure to read the name carefully. anyway, the eye gel comes in turquise plastic squeeze tube with white screw cap. they use wide ceramic tip as a way to dispense the product. there's a tiny hole in the middle of the tip where the product comes out so you can easily squeeze the product out and then spread it around while massaging it with the ceramic tip. they say you can fridge it so the tip will be cooler, but i never try it. it comes in 20 ml.
the ceramic tip
the scent: obviously this one is scentless.
how it looks like on my hand
the product: it's a white gel cream that's quite thick. in my opinion, the texture leans toward cream rather than gel. since it's quite thick, it's a bit hard to spread around with the ceramic tip. but after massaging it continuously with the tip, the eye gel starts to sink in. anyway, i've tried using it without my eye massager (just relying on the tip) and with my eye massager. i'm glad that my eye massager can work well with this eye gel. it doesn't dry out while i use the eye massager.
top: before
bottom: after
okay, it does help with the eye bad a little after looking at the progress picture, maybe even more so if you don't stay up late every night like i do
the result: right off the bat, i can feel that this one is moisturizing. it's quite rich so it's very moisturizing. however, even though it's rich and thick, it doesn't cause milia on me. if i have to compare the texture, it would be similar to sulwhasoo eye cream (which i'm not sure still exist). i have to agree that in the long run it helps to smoothen and tighten the eye area. it certainly helps with the elasticity. however, i don't think it helps much with dark circles.

i have to say that unfortunately, this one is not my favorite eye gel. even though it's moisturizing and in the long run seems to help with the elasticity, somehow i don't find it enjoyable while using this eye gel. i don't know why. anyway, that doesn't mean that this eye gel is bad. in fact, this is great if you're looking for a moisturizing eye gel. a stronger one to maintain elasticity around eyes area. especially if you're 25 years or above. but if you're looking for an eye product that reduce dark circles, then this one might not be the best in that area. that being said, i won't repurchase this one. in fact, i've bought other eye product that i'm interested in because of its applicator. anyway, this eye gel is easy to get from everywhere and the price is really affordable, so try it if you think it'll be suitable for you.
i finally finish my biobeautylab acne oil, so i decided to buy something else. actually, i wasn't interested in this acne spot gel, but since i had to fulfill certain quota to get the cashback or the free shipping, i decided to put this in my cart. let's see how it goes.

this is the description on their website: invisible natural plant-based acne treatment. a transparent acne spot gel with a combination of 8 natural-fix acne combat powers to fight acne-causing bacteria, help reduce redness, control excess sebum, and help smooth out rough skin texture caused by acne. can be used by children from 11 years of age and pregnant women.

key ingredients:
- neem tree: it contains more than 130 different biological compounds with antioxidant properties to protect the skin. the vitamins and fatty acids in neem leaves can also improve, maintain skin elasticity and reduce wrinkles. it also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties to support acne treatment.
- cleome gynandra leaf extract: is a molecule with high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that work to maintain the quality and quantity of sebum/oil on skin. cleome gynandra leaf extract is also able to reduce inflammation that leads to acne formation.
- maclura cochinchinensis: contains bioflavonoids which is proven to treat oily skin that causes acne and blackheads as well as balancing the skin microbiome. it works by inhibiting acne-causing bacteria C.acnes and stopping inflammation.
- korean anglica, green tea, lotus leaf, guava leaf: a combination of natural anti-acne ingredients, namely lotus leaf extract, green tea leaf extract, guava leaf extract and angelica extract. it's clinically proven to inhibit the growth of acne-causing C.acnes bacteria that is equivalent to benzoyl peroxide, which does not cause any irritation.
- tea tree oil: contains a number of compounds, including terpinen-4-ol, which is proven to kill certain bacteria, viruses, fungi and is also used to help reduce acne.
- 50% korean green tea: is famous for its EGCG content, one of the polyphenols that has powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. in addition, green tea extract acts as an effective free radical scavenger so that it can prevent skin cell damage.
- provitamin b5: is able to hydrate skin optimally and can coat skin so that it gives the skin a smooth effect.

ingredients list: Camellia Sinensis Leaf Water, Glycerin, Water, Propanediol, Methylpropanediol, Ethyl Hexanediol, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Panthenol, C12-14 Pareth-12, Psidium Guajava Leaf Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Xanthan Gum, Nelumbo Nucifera Leaf Extract, Angelica Gigas Extract, Cleome Gynandra Leaf Extract, Adenosine, Ethylhexylglycerin, Maclura Cochinchinensis Leaf Prenylflavonoids, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Citric Acid, Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, Tocopherol, 1,2-Hexanediol
the tube
the packaging: it doesn't have any box, so they only seal the outer part with plastic to secure the product. the spot gel comes in a squeeze tube with a combination of red on the cap and the tip with transparent body so you can see the remaining product inside. they use spout to dispense the product. the gel comes in 15 gr. there's a short description as well as ingredients list printed on the tube, but the font is too small.
description and ingredients list
the scent: this is scentless.
the spout
the product: on my hand, it looks transparent, but inside the tube you can see that it's yellowish/greenish. anyway, it applies transparent to the skin so you don't need to worry that it will be seen on your face especially if you're not wearing any makeup. me personally, i never use this in the morning because there's not enough time for me to do my routine leisurely, so i only use this at night.
how it looks like on my skin
the result: i have to say that it doesn't reach my expectation. i'm not sure about how it works. on some acnes, it helps shrinking the acne and reduce the redness. but, sometimes, even on cystic acne, it helps maturing it and then it will pop? my biggest complaint about this acne gel is that this doesn't work as fast as i want. in the picture progress, it's a two days different. i know some of you will say that it's fast enough, but during the two days, the acne is hard and a bit painful when being touched accidentally, so yeah.. not a fan of that.
two days different
left: it's inflamed, hard and painful to touch
right: actually it's already flat
well, this acne spot gel is ideal if you want to use it at daytime or under makeup as well. it's really affordable and you can get them basically anywhere because somethinc is widely available. as for me, i bet you can guess that i won't repurchase this one because i don't think it's effective in my opinion. but the result may vary depend on the people, so you have to try it yourself to draw a conclusion.
