i have to say.. i like this episode... since it's talking about hair trend. yeyyy.. although i like makeup, but i have difficulty about hair. i have very very thick hair that's hard to handle. lately it went under smoothing treatment and it made my hair became silky. now.. that part has grown and it became hard to manage again. moreover, since having my daughter, i've been experiencing the worst hair loss ever. i never had hair loss this bad. any suggestion?
anyway.. the hair trend for 2015 is normcore. it's basically a wavy hair but looks natural.. not perfectly curl with curling wand. the hair stylist on the show showed many tips to do that. in order to achieve the effortless wavy hair, first you have to blow dry your hair. first thing first, you have to dry your scalp first by blow dry from your nape to the back of your ear. bottom up, he said. and i tried that one last weekend. and it's true. even though you're drying from your nape and the back of your ear, but the hot air travels upward and it help dries the hair quicker.
he recommends curling using roller. not curling wand. either hot roller or regular roll. and he suggests curling it vertically since horizontally can leave marks on your hair. if you have bangs, then curl toward you face, if you don't then do the other way. clip it and dry it. now, there are a lot of brushes. there's pinroll that helps give volume and there's boar to help straighten the hair. you can also use boar to give volume, but with a little trick. after finish hair drying, now it's time to decide the hair parting. if you just want natural look, you can do 5:5 parting, which is the middle parting. but if you want sexy look, then aim for 1:9 parting or deep parting.
i truly want to try his tricks.. but i have no rollers and washing my hair and letting it dry naturally is a luxurious now... i wish i have time to do my hair. oh bother.. i never have time to let my hair down anyway.. but if you want to do that and want to watch the video, you can watch it here:
