currently watching: beauty bible ep 6

this episode theme is wedding beauty. well, for me this episode give me no tips, since i've been married. but if you're preparing for your wedding or interested in wedding trend, moreover korean wedding trend, then you can watch it yourself.

most of this episode discuss about wedding trend, from wedding gown to wedding theme. and also wedding makeup. they also give tips about makeup and hairstyle. and they give a bride-to-be a makeover for her makeup.

there are some tips from the makeup demonstration. first, if you have angular jaw, you can shading your jaw to make it look smaller. that also applied to your hairline. for more natural result, you can use eyeshadow instead of bronzer. another tip is if you have double eyelid on inner corner, it can cause your eyeliner be invisible if you only applied a thin line. so you have to apply eyeliner thicker and then check with eyes open to see if your eyeliner is visible.

actually, there are more tips on hairstyle. and i can say that it's not only for bride-to-be, but also for party look. the hairstylist showed styles for short and long hair. even she showed a DIY hairstyle for short and long hair. pretty easy to follow, but you have to have accessories as well. one thing in common for this hairstyling is curling your hair to give it volume using curling iron.

gowns form also dictates the hairstyle. for gown with details, it's best to style the hair in bun or updo. for one shoulder or v-line gown, you can get sexy look with updo for long hair, or just curl it and give accessories for short hair. for a-line or mermaid gown, you can do bun and tiara as accessories. for halter neck gown, up-do or half-do is best.

if you want to use tiara, then you have to choose which look you want. if you want a natural and cute look, then opt for low tiara. it also will give you smaller face. but if you want to make your face look longer, choose for high tiara instead.
