hi.. i'm sorry for not finishing the colourpop swatches as i promised.. the whole family is taking turn to fall sick. and i'm the last one and apparently causing my baby to fall sick again. what a devious cycle.. poor my baby.. she's fighting with cough and flu again in a week. hopefully she will be well again soon.
okay.. the other pink that i have is fetch. colourpop described it as perfect midtone warm true pink in a satin finish.
the packaging: just like the name, it comes in a stick. you can twist the upper body to get the lipstick out. they also have label at the bottom to show the shade name and formula. makes it easier to pick which one you want to use. oh, i never mentioned that since it weighs lighter than usual lipstick, the bullet itself is smaller so i think it's easier to use since the slanted tip fits the lip width perfectly, well.. for me..
the smell: i think all lippie stixs have faint vanilla scent, but i can't smell anything right now due to my stuffy nose.
the color payoff: uhm.. i've tried this a couple times. once, i only use one swipe. it was mid warm pink, pretty soft. but then on my second trial, i use a couple swipes, and i'm surprised. my swatch reveals that this one quite bright.. not neon pink, but almost neon.. slightly on the cooler side rather than warm on me, and it doesn't make me look yellow..
the formula: this one glides easily, almost like button. (oh.. silly me, just look again at button, and it's satin also.. that's why it feels similar..)
the staying power: definitely fades with eating and drinking and somewhat also sets into lines. and when i used this, i ate oily food, and it makes the lipstick bleed a little. well, i take a very good look in the mirror to notice the bleeding.. so i think no one will notice it from distance.
overall, i think i made a good choice picking up this color. another yay pink for me.. a pink that doesn't make me look yellow.. i think this one will suit almost anyone.
