skinfood premium tomato whitening cream

this is the last piece from my skinfood premium tomato whitening sample kit that i had. actually, before i start using this sample kit, i had my eyes on the essence and the cream, and i want to try everything first before making any conclusion.

according to the description i found on momomango.com, skinfood's premium tomato whitening cream has divine skin brightening power. it contains 20% tomato extract and stabilized vitamin C derivative. this is a brightening cream that softens, mildly whitens and adds glow to the skin.

at the bottom you can see the the viscosity of the cream

the packaging: the full size product is a tube with a pump to dispose the cream. the sample also comes in tube, but without pump. you just have to squeeze the tube to get the cream out of the tube. looks like an eye cream. the color of the tube is pink just like the rest from this line.. soo prettyyy...

the smell: since it's been awhile since i used the other product from this line, i forgot how they smell, but this one smells nice. sweet and fresh. i don't know how to compare it with real life product. all i can say it smells nice.. not too overpowering so if you have sensitive nose like mine you will like it.

the product: although it's a cream, i can say that the consistency is slightly gel-lish. light and not thick like other creams. it's absorbed easily and doesn't leave any sticky feeling. but sometimes.. since i applied it only at nights and i did my blogging outside without air conditioner, the hot weather makes it slightly sticky. but it's okay.. not bothering me at all.

the result: well, the sample only lasts for 4-5 uses if you only use pea size. so i don't think it's enough to judge about the brightening effect. butttt... my husband said one morning after 3 days using this cream, that i look like a ghost. hahaa.. i only wore cc cream that time, so i guess my missha serum and this cream does make my face bright a bit.

overall, i do like this cream. it doesn't make me look greasy and oily in the morning and i think it helps brighten my skin but in combination with other actives. so i think for you who have oily and combination skin and want a night cream that has brightening properties, i think you have to try this one. but if you're more toward normal to dry skin, this cream might not for you. only just because this cream is not moisturizing enough for normal to dry skin. if you want the brightening properties, i think you should combine it with another cream. but if you think it's a waste of step, then find another cream that's thicker than this one. for me, if i want a change in my night regime, i will buy this cream and then on my dry skin days (due to acid.. i used acid now), i will just use a sleeping pack on top of this cream.

the sample tube and the opening seal (see, it looks like an eye cream)
