skin & lab dr. vita clinic vitamin e plus moisturizing

if you've read my previous post about the other skin& lab vitamin cream, then you will know that i have 3 vitamin creams in my hand right now. A, C and E. i've used the C one, and now i use the E one. A will follow after i finish my missha serum. each vitamin cream can be used alone or together. if you combine the C and E, and it will maximize the effect of skin brightening and antioxidant effect than a single vitamin. actually, i was hesitant purchasing the E one, since it's designed for dry skin. but i need a new night cream, and i was bored with my usual olay night cream, so i was hoping this will be a good substitute until i find a better night cream.

this is the description from their malaysian website: skin & lab's dr. vita clinic collection is vitamin skin care solutions for various skin concerns & types. 5 vitamin creams consist of 5 different facial creams with 5 different vitamin ingredient: vitamin a (strong anti aging agent), vitamin b (acne relieving), vitamin c (skin tone brightener), vitamin e (rich antioxidant), vitamin k (redness & sensitivity reliever).
vitamin cream E (E plus moisturizing): best for dry skin or laser-treated skin, strong anti-oxidant activity & deep hydrating. can be used as eye cream or neck cream. boosts uv protective effect of sunscreen product. good with vitamin cream A/C/K.

the packaging: the outer box is color coordinated. the top is silver with hologram pattern, but the bottom of the box has different color. for C it's yellow, and blue for E. the product itself comes in a tube, like a toothpaste tube. a silver one with a black screw top. it has the label on the tube that will tell you which vitamin cream it is.  it comes in 30 ml just like the vitamin c one, pretty small, considering many of korean skincare stuff that i have come in big size. but many people say that it's quite thick so a little goes a long time. well, i do hope so, since this is not that cheap.

the scent: okay.. this is super weird. it smells like synthetic something. feels like applying plastic-like cream on my face. it's not intimidating, but i don't enjoy it either. and it lingers quite some time, so it's quite irritating. i've used this cream for a month, but i still can't get used to the scent.

the product: it's a white cream, the consistency is similar to my olay one, but slightly thicker. since it's a thick cream, it feels a little bit sticky afterwards. okay, i've used this cream with combination of sheet mask and sleeping pack. etude house lemon sheet mask and this cream = not sticky. the face shop character nourishing sheet mask and this cream = very sticky. acid + sheet mask + this cream + sleeping pack = not sticky. nourishing sheet mask + cream + sleeping pack = slightly sticky. cream + sleeping pack = not sticky. and since it's quite thick. it takes some time to be absorbed.

the result: i was worried that it will be too rich for my combination skin, but turned out i was wrong. probably my skin aged quicker *gasp* but i can say, in all combination that i've mentioned above, luckily it doesn't cause me breakouts. it's moisturizing enough, so probably normal to dry skin will appreciate this cream. oily skin, i think you might want to try some samples first. as for in combination with vitamin c to achieve remarkable brightening, well... i don't see remarkable result yet. but it does help lightening my skin tone just a bit, but as for fading the acne scars, it still works very slowly.

overall, i think this is a good night cream for combination to dry skin. but very dry skin will need additional sleeping pack. aging skin too. but for oily skin, better try some samples first. price wise, i don't of repurchasing it. it's very small for that price! i will try other options or back to my previous olay night cream for that price.
