i guess more people are into youtube lately and less blogging, so recently i also watch some youtube channel. and some time ago, many people on youtube talking about flower beauty. i definitely interested in trying some of their products, but apparently no online shop sells it here. so it gets swipe under the rug. then husband told me he's going to US. and definitely i'm making a long wish list, and some of them are flower beauty. i hope that he could get them. fortunately, he could get the flower beauty but not milani. oh well.. we couldn't win all the time. i asked for the foundation, cream blush and lipstick and he found them all. i had hard time though picking the shade for the lipstick because they are soooo pretty. but i managed to narrow it down to just two. and let me tell you, now i regret not asking for more.
this is the description from their website: gorgeously rich lip color shades that provide intense color payoff in just one single swipe! pure color pigments apply smoothly, while conditioning and protecting lips with healthy antioxidants. available in a soft matte and cream finish that wear comfortably all day long. with a spectrum of luxurious shades from bold to nearly nude, there's a perfect shade for every look and occasion.

the bullet lipstick |
the packaging: it comes in regular bullet shape lipstick that has plastic sealing on the outer. but the shape is not completely round. it's more like semilunar. there's flower text printed on the flat side and a shade label at the bottom. the cap is transparent plastic cap and i have to say that it's pretty fragile. i've already broke the cap from one of them. so you might want to keep that in mind if you're going to put this in your makeup bag and bring it along with you. the metallic part of the bullet is rose gold, which is super beautiful and make it different from other brand that usually use gold color.

the color: there are 24 shades to pick from, ranging from nude to berry to red. but there are no crazy color like blue or black though. there are 12 shades in matte finish and 12 shades in cream finish. i pick up naked blush which is a nude color in matte finish and spiced petal which is mauvey nude in cream finish. the other shade that got cut from the list was bare pout and warm sand. they are both similar to the other shade that i pick but from the other finish.

the product: the lipstick has standard slanted tip just like usual bullet lipstick which i actually like because somehow i get used to using bullet lipstick that has slanted pointed tip like that. the pigmentation is pretty good. for nude color, i need more than one swipe, but for darker shade, one swipe is enough.

the result: i'm pretty happy with my choice. i was worry that bare pout might be too light for me, so i got naked blush and it turns out to be a good nude shade for me. not too light, not too peachy. and it's in matte finish. and let me tell you, it feels lightweight. i don't feel like wearing matte lipstick. although it doesn't dry down completely super matte like liquid lipstick, it's still matte but without filling your lip line. the spiced petal is even prettier. the last time i'm using mauvey shade is lumiere and it's way too dark and too purple for my liking. but this one...somehow i feel like it's MLBB but in mauvey tone on my lips. it lasts decently, about 4 hours before eating or drinking. obviously it will vanish after eating and drinking but it fades graciously, not making definite line on my lips. then again, i pick lighter color, so i probably can't say the same for bolder color. the creamy finish definitely will vanish quicker than the matte one.

totally happy with my purchase. let's be honest.. i know i'm picking boring nude shades, but it's what i wear almost everyday, so if i ever want to use up my lipstick, better pick a shade that i know i will tend to grab daily. since i'm pretty fair, i can say that naked blush doesn't wash me off and make me sick, so both colors are good for fair skin. i just wish that i could get it here...as for the price, it's definitely affordable.
