skintific 5x ceramide barrier repair travel kit - low pH cleanser

i knew i was going to japan and my only travel set that i have clearly is not enough for my 12 days trip, so i decided to buy something else. i bought blp set but apparently, it's only 3 pieces set. so i bought this one since i'm curious of their moisturizer and sunscreen. i bought the full size separately of couse, but until then, i will try the set first. anyway, i bought the face wash on my trip and i didn't pay attention to the size so i was worried that i might finish it before i went back home. anyway, it lasted until my last day trip, so this is my conclusion on this cleanser.

this is the description from their website: gently cleanse the skin from impurities, reveal clean and fresh skin without the use of harsh detergents. this cleanser has a low pH level which is similar to natural skin, so it won't damage your skin barrier. a blend of 5 types of ceramides and amino acids, the moisture-lock properties keep skin feeling soft and not stripped dry. maintain pores clean and minimize breakouts. dermatologically tested: suitable for all skin types. feels the gentleness, and say hi to healthier skin.

- formulated using 5x ceramides technology, it mimics the structure of the skin barrier, deeply moisturizes and strengthens the skin by combining the 5 types of ceramides: ceramide NP, ceramide NS, ceramide AS, ceramide EOP, ceramide AP.

- amino acid is an extra mild cleansing agent. it soothes the skin, helps to moisturize, and acts as an anti-oxidants. this ingredient helps to maintain the skin's smoothness and hydration. hence, it effectively cleanses the skin without causing any dryness.  it is safe to be used daily. 

- niacinamide (vitamin B3) is a smart, multi-purpose, non-irritating ingredient. due to its anti-inflammatory and oil-control properties, it is able to treat inflammation caused by acne and controls oil production to prevent future breakout.

the packaging: since i bought this in a set, it comes in light blue box with a big transparent plastic window at front so you can see everything from the outside. there's a complete ingredients list of everything inside at the back of the box. the face wash itself comes in light blue (similar color as the box) squeeze tube with white plastic screw cap. another ingredients list is listed at the back of the tube. the opening of the tube is big enough for the product to come out of the tube. however, i forgot to check the size of this cleanser. it's just 15 ml and somehow, it almost ran out of it when i was in japan. you'd find the reason why this might not be enough for my 12 days trip.

the scent: this one is scentless and doesn't smell weird either. 

the product: the face wash is a thick, cream-like one. i thought that since it's thick, then i won't need much every time i use it, however.. that's not the case. this face gives little to no bubbles, may it be with my hand or with my foreo. especially with my foreo. it feels like it's better to bubbles it up with my hands first and then massage it with my foreo. but since i'm lazy.. i apply it straight on my fore. it does take a little bit for it to bubble up with my foreo and it feels dragged a little bit when i first apply it. anyway, with hand it needs more than with foreo, obviously. but still, i need more compare to my drunk elephant one. that was why, i almost ran out of it when i was in japan.

the result: even though i need more of this, this one is really a mild and gentle face wash. non drying as well. it does its work well as the second cleanser. 

that being said, i won't purchase the full size because this face was doesn't provide me any skintainment. it is scentless and not that enjoyable to use. even though it's gentle and non drying, there are other face washes in the market that could do the same, so yeah.. no thank you. anyway, i think this face wash is suitable for all skin types, gentle and non drying, scentless as well so it'd be suitable for sensitive skin as well. their price is quite affordable as well. as for me, skintific has several other face washes, so i might try other variations first before deciding which one is better in my opinion.
