one of the items that's always finished quickly in my makeup stash is eyebrow pencil. not because i use them everyday, but probably because they don't usually come in big size so it's fairly easy to finish them. anyway, ever since the pandemic, i've been buying all my beauty products from local brands. that goes the same with my eyebrow pencil. usually i will stock up when i go to japan, but even during my last japan trip, somehow i didn't see anything interesting so yeah, i just bought a local one. anyway, the one i'm trying this time is secondate. actually, i never look at secondate before since their first products were lip products. but then, they launched a princess series? that had a beauty stack in that collection, which is basically a blush, bronzer and highlighter in one stack. similar to kaja one. however, i hope that it would be all cream products, but sadly no. just like kaja, it's a mix of powder and cream products, so i decided to skip it. anyway, let's talk about the eyebrow pencil for now.

the packaging: it comes in a beige box with the name of the shade on the side and description at the back of the box. actually i'm surprised to see the box is quite big compared to the eyebrow pencil. in fact, other eyebrow pencil comes in smaller box than this one. there was the shade name on the lid as well. however, the pencil is quite slim and small. comes in similar beige color. it's only 0.03 gr so yeah, it's quite small.

the color: judging from their website, there are 5 shades to choose from and i choose natural brown. actually, looking at the pictures provided, it's hard to differentiate the shades among the browns, but i think the natural brown looks the lightest, that's why i pick it. fortunately, it matches mine perfectly. it doesn't look too dark nor too light. the color looks natural on me.

the product: the eyebrow pencil is a dual ended pencil, both has the same beige plastic cap on it. on the first end, there's the pencil tip that's really tiny. just like advertised, the tip is really tiny and perfect to draw hair-like strokes, similar to my eyebrow. the pencil has the right consistency as well. not too hard that it's difficult to draw with, but not too soft that it goes blunt every time i use it. the spoolie is thin, not the big fluffy one that i like, but it's okay. at least it's not scratchy.

the result: i have no expectation when i bought this but after trying this one, i'm extremely satisfied with this eyebrow pencil. this one really looks natural. like crazy natural. the color blends in with my actual hair brow perfectly. like i don't use any eyebrow pencil to fill in my brows.

i have to say that i'm very impressed with this one. if you can pick the right shade for you, then i definitely recommend this eyebrow pencil. it's affordable, easy to use and looks natural. beginner friendly as well. if only they restocked it often.. i would definitely put this in my repurchase list if i even run out stuff to try. if you're looking for a tiny tip, local eyebrow pencil, then i suggest you try this one before trying anything else.
