i've heard about tulus a little while back, but at that time, their line up consisted of just face wash and toner, and both i still have a lot in my stash, so i waited until i've used up most of my stash and then i bought the face wash because it's what i need. let's see whether it worths the rave.
this is the description from their website: good skin starts with a good cleanse. this pH-balancing, non stripping cleanser gel sweeps away make up, dirt and oil for a radiant clear complexion. roman chamomile, sweet almond and oat kernel extracts work simultaneously together with different moisturizing agents to hydrate and refresh skin while impurities and pore clogging dirt are cleanser without stripping off moisture from the skin mantle.

the packaging: both the box and the tube have the same design. and it's very minimalistic. with pale yellow background with the name of the brand printed on the side. there's description at the back and the side of the box in english and indonesian as well as the ingredients list. there's another description at the back of the tube in english. apparently there are two sizes of the face wash, 30 ml and 100 ml. mine is the full size one, which is 100 ml. the tube has flip top and the opening of the tube is big enough so the face was can be dispense easily. they seal the opening with aluminum foil at first to secure the product during shipping.

the scent: this one is scentless and no funny smell either.

the product: the face wash is transparent thick gel type. if i look closely, it is as if there's tiny bubbles inside it. but it doesn't burst or anything. it foams up when i rub it in between my palms, but as usual, it bubbles more when i use my foreo. and yeah, i can use it with my foreo as well without any problem. of course, i only need a little less when using my foreo, just like other gel face wash that i've tried before.

the result: well, this one is clearly gentle without drying my skin and it works well as second cleanser. but it doesn't leave a thin layer on top of my skin that i'm itching to rub off my face.
so far, when i use this cleanser, it reminds me a lot to avoskin sublime face cleanser and npure probiotic cleanser. if i have to compare this with the others, i would say that it's a tie between tulus and npure and avoskin is slightly behind. availability wise, you can buy them directly from their official website and from other reseller, but still.. it's easier to find npure and avoskin than tulus. price wise, tulus is still affordable. as for me, there are still a lot of products out there that i want to try, but i will put this in my list if i need to repurchase something at the end.
