skintific 2% salicylic acid acne spot treatment gel

lately i've been getting breakouts around my period, so i always have an acne spot treatment gel in my stash for times like those. however, nothing seems to work well for me. oh well, maybe i should add acne patch on top of spot treatment? oh well, one of my friend recommended this one so i decided to try it. let's see how it goes.
the box
this is the description from their official market place: helps to treat acne.
- salicylic acid: exfoliate and helps prevent acne. reduces sebum and excess oil. helps soothe inflammation.
- pionin: prevents melanin that causes acne scars. prevents acne.
- ceramide: protects and repairs skin barrier. improves skin texture on acne area.
description and ingredients list on the box
the packaging: it comes in a green box that's wrapped with plastic. there's description and ingredients list on the back as well as on the side of the box. the treatment gel comes in light green squeeze tube with metallic cone screw cap. it has short spout to dispense the gel. it comes in 15 g, which is a lot for a treatment gel.
the tube
the scent: of course it's scentless and doesn't have any medicinal smell as well.
the spout tip
the product: it's a transparent gel type so it's safe to use over and under makeup. but i never use it daytime though. i always use it at night since it can be a bit sticky. but it's really transparent once you patted it.
how it looks like on my skin
the result: okay, for pustule acne, it will help the acne mature and then i can pop it off. but for cystic acne, it's a bit different and confusing. sometimes, if i put it on very early, it will help shrink the size in one or two days. but if i apply it a little bit too late, it will take a long time to shrink. sometimes, i can still even see the bump after quite some time.

again, i'm confused on how this acne gel works. maybe i should try combining it with an acne patch to see better result. anyway, this one works well without drying your skin, so it's a good option if you're looking for a good acne spot gel. price wise, this is affordable and you can practically get skintific product anywhere now, so it's another plus. as for me, i'll keep looking.
