there's a mask sheet challenge going on on instagram. it's started by charlotte cho, the founder of sokoglam. she challenged kbeauty lover on instagram to use their mask sheet and post it on instagram 7 days in a row. somehow it makes me want to use my mask sheet pile. though after seeing other's mask sheet collection, mine is nothing compared to them. oh well.. there's still time..
this time i'm using another etude house i need you mask again.. this time it's mugwort. recently i watched beauty bible by afterschool on youtube, and i found out that mugwort is good for soothing skin. and according to etudehouse.com, this is the product description: this mask sheet contains mugwort extract (artemisia princeps leaf extract) that improves circulation for a clearer complexion.
the packaging: as usual, it has the main ingredients' picture at front so it's easier to find out which one you want to use.
the smell: well, i can't pick any distinct scent, so it means either it's very subtle or it has no scent. so i'm happy with it.. since you have to put it on your face for at least 15 minutes... so foul scent is a big no-no for me.
the product: the sheet is drenched with essence, but not so dripping wet like the other mask sheet. the fit is nice.. it fits to my face almost perfect. slightly better than the snail. i can feel cooling sensation the moment i put it on my face. and when my baby wakes up, i have to go back to my room with the air-conditioner on, and it makes this mask sheet even more cooler. freaking cold. hahaha.. so refreshing for hot days.. and it dries quicker under air-conditioned room. about 20 minutes.. though there's still some essence left to massage to my neck.
the result: it's cooling so i bet this one can help soothing your skin, probably after sunburn or very hot days. and moisturizing. but not as strong as the snail one. i still use my usual night regime after taking my sheet off. as for the brightening effect, well.. i can't see it thanks to my already-pale-complexion.
overall, i like this one. it fits on my face well, it doesn't have strong scent that i dislike, it has cooling effect and it has generous essence but not too much. i think i will but this one again as keeper.. for hot days ahead or for emergency. fyi, yesterday my sis in law got home after a week in orientation week in her campus. and she got sunburn very bad. i sent her my aloe sheet mask, from etude and from innisfree. i hope it will help her.. that's why i think i have to buy another soothing mask sheet just for emergency like yesterday. i do recommend you try this one. it will suits all skin types.
