haruhada hyaluronic acid cleansing water

actually i was looking for haruhada when i first went to japan. but i was pregnant at that time and had difficulty moving around. unfortunately, they usually put bigger bottles at the bottom of the display, so i couldn't get down on my knees to find out what is being displayed at the very bottom. and i have pretty limited time, so i couldn't find one. and then we went to hongkong, and it was on sale! they had bundling sale, so i had to buy two. and i bought hyaluronic acid and the collagen one. honestly, i didn't know how many types are there, so i was grabbing the one that i think was interesting.

this is the description from sasa website: the fresh cleanser effectively removes face and eye makeup (including mascara & eyeliner), while moisturizing your skin. its refreshing texture will not cause any burden to the face. a new formula with double hyaluronic acid, giving skin long-lasting moisturizing effect. skin is much more watery and bright after use.

the packaging: it comes in a big plastic bottle. it has coloured label according to the type. the hyaluronic acid one is blue. it has flip top which i think is useless because the bottle is so big that it's quite difficult to tilt the bottle upside down to get the product out. i transfer it to a clean container that has a pump on top, like etude's toner bottle in the biggest size. they also don't put any seal whatsoever on the inner opening beside the plastic sealing around outside of the flip top. i don't like the packaging, i like bifesta better since it has a pump on it, although i don't quite like it too since it sprays the product all over the place.

the packaging
(at the back there's a label with english translation, but the original on the bottle is in japanese)
the scent: i think it's scentless again since i can't pick certain scent when i'm using this.

the product: it looks like regular water, and it has the same viscosity as water too. it doesn't have color to it, so completely just like regular water. i used cotton pad and if i use makeup, i would need about 3-4 soaked cotton pads to remove everything. i like how this one is also moisturizing afterward just like bifesta, but it stings my eyes like hell. it stings even worse than bifesta.

left: bb cream, cream blush, eyeliner, mascara, waterproof mascara, stick eyeshadow and lip cream
middle: one swipe (the waterproof mascara is still there)
right: after two swipes everything is gone
the result: it does work well. it can remove my bb cream, cream blush, lip cream, and even eyeliner. but it still struggles with waterproof mascara. it can removes it at the end, but it need lots of work. including a bit scrubbing which is should be avoided on eyes area.

so, if you use heavy makeup including waterproof mascara almost every day, then you might not like this cleansing water. but if you only use light makeup, then this cleansing water is right down your alley. plus i think it's cheap too considering that they are on sale often and comes in big size. as for me, i don't think i'll buy another one once i've finished this batch considering that it stings my eyes everytime i use it near my eyes. if i had to choose, i'll choose bifesta over haruhada, not because of its cleansing ability, but because of personal reason.
