we went to singapore to get the kids vaccinated because the vaccine is not available in indonesia. so i think i might as well use that opportunity to get more my beauty diary masks that i like. i've tried several variations that i bought from japan and i like them all so far. so i guess i will try as many as i can find. fortunately, i was able to get 4 types on my visit. two of them are targeted to normal or oily skin and two are for dry skin.

sahara scenedesmus is found in the sahara, which is extremely dry and hot. scenedesmus extract is able to replenish moisture, preserve water, and construct a skin barrier to help prevent water loss. it also fortifies skin protection, balances excess oil, and promotes skin surface water binding to keep acne-prone skin appear hydrated, fresh, and non greasy. sahara scenedesmus extract has moisture locking and oil balancing properties that helps skin adapt to the harmful effects of a harsh environment. it is blended with rapid infusion factors aquarodX tinysome X cosphingo to help inhibit sebum over-production, keeping skin balanced and non greasy. this mask contains hippophae rhamnoides, arnica montana compound, aloe vera and various skin hydrating and soothing extracts to help relieve redness, itching, and irritation caused by heat and environmental irritation. it also helps relieve stress in oily and acne prone skin to maintain clean, refreshed, and energized skin. recommended for oily, acne-prone, and red skin.
the packaging: i bought a box of it. i think it contains around 8 or 10 mask sheets. the box has the same design as the individual packaging. it has peach background with the picture of the desert at front. description at the back is in mandarin. the ingredients list, however, is in english, so you can check if you have any problem with the ingredients.
the scent: it has fresh scent which i can smell only upon opening, but after putting it on my face, i can barely detect the scent.
the product: the mask is very thin and flimsy, that's why the plastic backing is highly appreciated. it makes it easier to unfold the mask. it has no slit but adjustable. for me, it fits me okay, although it has slightly tall forehead and narrow jaw. but other than that, it's pretty decent fit for me. it also has generous essence, which makes it slightly slippery. some of the essence is dripping down to my lips and jaw when i first put it on my face.
the result: it's cooling during the time i put it on my face, so i guess it will suitable for hot days like these days. i put it on for about 40 minutes. for me, it's moisturizing enough. it does leave slightly tacky feeling afterward but it doesn't mess with the product that i put on top of it. in the morning it doesn't make my face overly greasy but still well moisturized. it also brightens my face, but as usual the effect doesn't last long.
you'll probably guess that i like this one as well as the other. and i have to say that this one feels light. it does moisturizing without being too heavy. so i guess it does suitable for oily skin as it's stated on the packaging. but who wants to limit the uses of a good sheet mask? i think everyone should try it. as for the price, the price in singapore and japan is pretty much similar and both is still affordable for a box of sheet masks. definitely will repurchase if i finished it.
