aside from being slacked in writing reviews, i also seems to forget about my samples. i've tossed some samples that i think are expired because there's no expiration date on the samples. there are some products that i want to try and i've never heard before. one of them is kicho. i got a bunch of kicho samples when i bought several stuff from some online shops. and somehow it got hidden in the drawer and forgotten. but i found them now, and i'll try to use them up. the first one is their eye cream.
this is the description from glamaco website: phyto natural enriched eye cream brightens and supports elasticity of the skin around the eyes while providing rich care and nutrition. with its beige color reminiscent of its plant origins, this highly concentrated balm reduces the appearance of wrinkle is the eye area. as functional anti wrinkle and skin brightening cream it also provides rich nutrition to elegantly plump delicate eye area skin. patented phyto extracts help to alleviate pigmentation as well as increasing elasticity for more radiant clear and firm skin. dermatologist tested. for all skin types.
the packaging: all the samples comes in white sachet. it has the brand name at front and a little description at the back in english but in tiny text. and the sachet size is deceiving. at first it looks like other samples, but when i open it, it feels nearly empty. i have to push real hard to get the product out. and i thought it was the eye cream, but when i tried another sample, it's still the same.
the scent: it smells gingerish, but it isn't too overwhelming. but for an eye cream, i think most people would want it to be unscented since it's applied on sensitive areas.
the product: when i squeezed the eye cream out, i was confused. it was a yellowish thick cream, almost feels like a balm. i tried to spread it around my eyes but it's very hard to do so. it's very thick and all i did was dragging the eye cream around. but then it sorts of melt a little bit so i can tap it around my eyes. it's also a bit sticky which makes it a little bit harder to make it work.
the result: the eye cream sample only lasts for one use so definitely not enough to judge the efficiency. all i can say that this eye cream has weird consistency and it does moisturize my eyes area.
now i can't say much about this eye cream. all i can say that it has this weird texture that need works to put it around my eyes. somewhere along the way i have to rub it, drag it around my eyes. and it's not a good thing to do with your eyes area. now i don't know much about the price, but from this point, i don't think i will consider buying the full size.
