when husband was about to go abroad, i make it a habit to make a wish list. something to make sure that he brings home things that i really want. and he was about to go to the US. let me tell you, i was going to make a super long wish list, but i knew that he couldn't buy all of them. i was torn between trying new things that other people haven't tried a lot, or getting the things that people have recommended a lot. hubs said to get the most recommended things, so i did. i asked him to buy flower beauty things and the most highly raved physician formula butter bronzer. unfortunately, he couldn't get the bronzer shade. he got me the light bronze one, which is the lightest shade. oh well, let's see if i works for me.

the packaging: it comes in a cardboard box that has a peek window at front so you can see the product inside. at the back there's description in english and french. on top right, you can see tiny label that indicates the shade number and name. the compact case is made of green and yellow plastic with a transparent peek window at front. around the window, there's palm printed on the case. at the back of the case there's another label that indicates the shade name. the case is pretty bulky since it has two compartments. on top, there's the bronzer pan, and at the bottom, there's a mirror and a sponge applicator. i have to say it's weird to give sponge applicator for a powder bronzer.

the scent: it's famous for its scent. it has this distinctive coconut scent that everyone seems to love. i don't have problem with it, but i'm also not into the scent either. i never have coconut-scented product in my makeup before, so this is the first. but it's super subtle though, so don't worry.

the product: the pan has this wavy pattern on it. and it's super silky smooth. even feels smoother than my powder. it applies evenly on my skin, and blends easily too. i have to say that even though this is the lightest shade, it's still pigmented. the shade range, oh well, i might not be the best person to judge since i have no experience, but this only have two shades at first, then it gets expanded to four shades. and lately, they add three more shades? i don't know.. but you should check if you could get your shade.

the result: at first i thought it would be too light for me and i was careless one day and just put it around my face without double checking it. and then i saw my face in the mirror. i look like i just get a sun tan! and i never got one. i get burn but not tanned. so i make sure to double check it now. the light bronzer is okay for me, but sometimes i think it's a bit orange for me. as for application, it blends easily and smoothly and it's not patchy at all. it lasts decently about 4-5 hours on me (because i only use makeup for that long, so i can't say that it stays all day because i don't wear makeup all day).

now i know why everyone raves about this bronzer so much. it's super silky smooth and blends easily even for a beginner like me. i never have a bronzer before, but i can say that this might not be the last. i'm intend to try the bronzer shade after finishing this one. oh i hope i could finish this one. if you like to bronze up your skin instead of contouring your face, then you should try it. it's pretty affordable. but here, it's hard to get. although some online shops sell this one, but the price is sky high for a drugstore brand. so, if you could get it yourself at decent price, i highly suggested you to try it.
