esqa cosmetics brow stroke pencil - medium brown

well, since i can't go to japan anymore, i started to shift all my skincare and makeup to local products. local brands have been releasing stuff like crazy that it's hard to keep up. though for makeup, aside from somethinc, there's not much release this year. i've bought this brow pencil since last year. i didn't think that my previous eyebrow pencil will last that long. anyway, let's see how it goes.

this is the description from their website: outline, fill, and build your eyebrows to perfection! our brow stroke pencil comes in a retractable ultra-slim pencil that will help you to outline and fill your eyebrows. the brow stroke pencil features a micro tip applicator for drawing a detailed, hair-like strokes easily. available in 5 shades with a super pigmented and blendable formula to make a fuller eyebrows. don't forget to use the spoolie and blend your brows to create a natural-looking finish.
the box
the packaging: it comes in rose gold metalic box and you can see the shade name on the side. it's also printed on the body of the brow pencil as well. the pencil itself comes in a white plastic slim pen type with dual end, one with the eyebrow pencil, one with the spoolie. both of them are covered with white plastic cap so everything is secure even though you bring it with you everywhere.

the color: there are 5 shades to pick from, ash brown, chocolate, medium brown, dark brown, and grey. honestly i can't differentiate the browns, but the medium brown looks reddish compared to the other, so i pick that one since usually i dyed my hair to reddish brown shade.

the product: the pencil is just like stated, ultra slim tip that's not too hard, not too soft. it's perfect to draw hair-like strokes easily like promised. however, the spoolie is too thin for my liking. but it's firm so it can brush my eyebrow easily. though i wish it's a bit fluffier.

the result: well, i've let my eyebrow grow so i don't need much correction anyway. so i only fill some blank spots and then draw the end and i'm good to go. as for the color, it doesn't look weird on me, so i guess it's acceptable.

well, i have no complaint for this eyebrow pencil aside form hoping they will make the spoolie a bit fluffier, but it's just a minor issue. i just hope they can give description about the color shade so at least i can guess what's the difference between the chocolate, dark brown, and medium brown. i'm not that fussy about brow pencil, so honestly i'm mostly okay with all eyebrow pencil that i've tried, this one included. however, i notice that this one might weigh less than the usual eyebrow pencil, so if you count the price per grams, then this might be a bit expensive. anyway, there are other eyebrow pencils in the market, so i think i'll just keep this one in mind if i ever run out of things to try. if you like ultra slim tip, then this might be a good option for you.
