Innisfree green tea seed cream

yes.. i know, i've been blogging about makeup mostly lately.. and that's not because i'm running out of skincare products to test. it's just my daily schedule with newborn baby and a toddler sometimes make me exhausted and i don't remember to put the same regimen on to my skin anymore. sometimes i feel like using the whole regimen, sometimes i just lazy to put anything and straight to bed. that's why testing any product is hard since it needs diligence to use everyday. but lately my baby is more predictable so i can test a few product. and this one i've been meaning to test for a long time.. but i forgot about it, and lately when i was searching for products to test, i found it and immediately try it.

this is the description from their website:
a moisturizing anti-oxidant cream with eco-friendly jeju fresh green tea & green tea seeds. there's a 2014 new upgrade for this cream. more moisturizing and fresh with the 100% squeezed green tea, dual moisture-rising technology from the green tea and green tea seed oil. with the help of the anti-oxidant EGCG in the green tea, this cream rich in moisture keeps the skin healthy and moisturized without stickiness.

okay.. now let's talk about the sample
the packaging: the sample is a duo with the green tea seed serum which i've reviewed here. and i have no luck with the serum, while many people loves it even though they have oily/combination skin. okay..back to the cream sample. it has the cream full size picture in front of it, so it's easy to differentiate with the serum one. but unfortunately, there's no english instruction on the sample package.

the smell: it's fragrant.. like green tea i guess. refreshing but not overpowering. but once you applied the cream on your face, the smell will dissipate quickly.

the product: the texture is somewhere between gel and cream, but more on the gel side. it's light and absorbed quickly into my skin. it will give your skin a nice glowy finish, but i think it won't be there for a long time. one blogger said that the glow will vanish if she topped it off with foundation. and though it's a bit thick, but it's watery and doesn't sticky at all.. just like the ads.

the result: since i'm only have 2 samples, each can last for 3 days (i only use it at night time), i can't say anything in the long term. all i can say that it will suit oily/combination skin as night cream (though you can try using it as day cream too since it's very lightweight), and definitely will suit dry skin. it doesn't cause breakouts on me (fyi, i'm on progesterone only pill) and it gives the perfect moisture that my skin needed.

will this one be on my next try list as night cream? well, maybe.. but i still have a couple more night cream samples to try before deciding. the only thing that concerns me is it's hard to get innisfree products in indonesia so i have to order it via online shop and in preorder system.. which is suck. the waiting time is unbearable.. and innisfree price is higher here than in korea.. so it's not a cheaper option than what i've already been using. oh well, if you like green tea and need lightweight moisturizer.. then you should give this one a try.
