the inkey list bakuchiol moisturizer

years ago, after the world was surprised by the ordinary, next come the inkey list. sporting the same minimalist concept, both the ordinary and the inkey list have products line up that's simple and has simple ingredients as well. however, lately the inkey list seemed to have more products line up than the ordinary. but, since it's very simple, somehow aside from several serums, i wasn't interested in them. however, when i visited singapore the last time, i started to have some interest in bakuchiol. so when i saw that there's a bakuchiol moisturizer from inkey list, i decided to give it a try.

this is the description from their website: plant derived and with antioxidant properties, this natural retinol alternative helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and even skin tone. formulated with the omega-3 packed sacha inchi oil and squalane, bakuchiol moisturizer also works to hydrate and nourish your skin. bakuchiol moisturizer does not cause any sun sensitivity, so can be used in both the AM and PM, and is safe to use during pregnancy.

the packaging: just like the ordinary, the inkey list also opted for clean and minimalist look. for the inkey list, the color dominant for their products are black and white. like their intent to be transparent about their ingredients. there's description at the back of the box in english as well as the ingredients list. the moisturizer also comes in similar design. it comes in white/black plastic squeeze tube with black plastic screw cap. there's also description at the back of the bottle as well. it comes in 30 ml which is the normal size of a moisturizer. they seal the opening with aluminum foil at first to secure the product.

the scent: it has that weird foul scent that all bakuchiol products seem to have. it's not that overwhelming but still not pleasant to smell.
how it looks like on my hand
the product: it's brownish moisturizer that has lotion-like texture. it's quite runny so i don't think putting it in a squeeze bottle is a wise option. if i hold it upside down just how it is, it will come out on its own. so i have to tilt it upside down so it won't come out on itself. since it's quite runny, it's easy to spread it around.
after blending it
the result: in terms of moisturizer, it's considered lightweight, though i won't say that it's enough for night time even though they say that it can be used day and night. however, i also feel that this one makes my skin tends to be oilier than it's used to be. i can't say whether it's moisturizing or not since i don't like the oily feeling that it gives me even though i use just a little.

i can't be happier when i finally manage to use this one up. i brought this with me to japan and it doesn't help much when the weather was colder. even though it makes my skin feel oilier. back here in my country, it's hot and humid so it feels uncomfortable as well. luckily, this doesn't cost much, but it's way cheaper in the US so i can't say that it's affordable since the price might doubled when you preordered them. as for me, definitely won't repurchase and i can't even think who i should recommend this to.
