this is another famous product from skinfood. though i'm not sure, a lot of people said skinfood black sugar scrub, but the foam or the mask? i guess both of them are famous.. but since i don't have that much time to put mask on my face, so i choose the foam. i run out of my bodyshop scrub, so i need another scrub.
this is from their global website:
the mineral-rich brazilian black-sugar grains in the scrub foam smoothly cleanse off the old layer leaving your skin moist after washing.
the packaging: it comes in a tube, but unfortunately, it has a screw cap. *sigh* it's difficult to open and close it again when i take shower.. i prefer flip-top cap.. the body of the tube is quite interesting. i thought it's brown.. matte brown and non transparent, but in fact, it's transparent so you can see the product inside creeping up or down when you move it.
the smell: i think it's smell like wet tissue! a little bit alcohol smell. some say it has the distinctive black sugar line smell. well, i only have the black sugar perfect first serum sample and first serum fresh sample, and i guess both of them don't smell exactly the same, so i don't know about the whole line scent thing.
the product: it was a pale yellowish cream, with sugar grains in it (it feels like sugar grains!) smaller than my old scrub beads. this one really feels like sugar grains, but my old one is more coarse..
the result: this one... i don't know. the grains immediately dissolve when i put water on it. so i doesn't get the excitement of scrubbing my face real hard. my old scrub gives me that, but i also worry that it might be too coarse for me. with this one, at the beginning i feels like scrubbing my face, but at the end, it feels like foaming my face. it does help clean my face, but i don't get the squeaky clean feeling like when using etude house baking powder pore cleansing foam.
overall, this is a okay product. but i still have another scrub or peeling gel to try, so if i'm interested more in other product, i might not repurchase this one.
