kose clear turn essence mask q10 mask sheet

i grabbed this mask when i was in japan. honestly, i didn't have time to do my homework the first time, so i just grab this mask because it was everywhere! so i thought it must be good and i grab this one and the vitamin c one. now, i didn't say that this mask isn't good, but i can't say that i'm agree that this mask should be bestsellers.

this is the description from yesstyle: a 5 minutes concentrate low acidity facial mask, and contains beauty essence that concentrate on enhancing skin's elasticity and anti-aging. the coenzyme q10 and glycerine are contained in this mask and it is designed to capture natural moist of your skin, while act as anti-aging and provide moist and softess to your skin. with continued use, your skin will become moistured, softer and rejuvenated skin. this mask is the perfect choice for busy people and sensitive skin type because it only need 5 minutes and it is created in a low acidity. the sheet mask is redesigned to be more user-friendly, fit to skin more perfectly, and provide cares for eye-zone.

the packaging: everything in japanese comes in pack, apparently. this one comes in a box, 5 pieces of mask in a box. each mask is wrapped in individual foil, with the same design as the box. it has different color too. for the q10 is orange. the individual foil is smaller compared to other brand, and it has side opening. unusual, but it makes sense since the individual foil is smaller, it will easier to get the mask out from the side rather than from the top as usual.

the scent: okay, i might forget how it smells like, but i think it's scentless as usual.

the product: the mask is made of cotton, medium thickness, a bit stiff so there's a papery feeling that i get from this mask. the essence is milky white, like lotion, and it's generous. i thought it would be dripping all over my face and neck, but it didn't. the fit is okay, but it has a little too many slits in my opinion. the only part about the fit that i like is it has long nose part! it can cover all my nose length. pretty unusual since asian tend to have shorter nose. i think the essence is distributed unevenly too. it dries too soon and the slits are hanging over even before 15 minutes.

the result: thankfully, it's moisturizing as promised, but it gives slightly sticky feeling and make my face look greasy. it also makes everything else take longer to absorb than usual. my bad though.. next time i won't use this after toner, but after serum and before moisturizer. i think it will work better in that order.

so, honestly, although it works just fine, i just can't see why it has become such a bestseller. it dries too quick, quicker than the pure smile! oh scratch that.. just read the description again and i have to agree this one only works in short period of time, about 5-10 minutes. price-wise, this is a good deal since this one tends to come in pack with such a cheap price. 5 masks, 22 masks, even in a box which i don't know how many masks are in there. Super affordable. i think it will be too rich for oily skin, but dry to normal skin might like this mask. this mask might be perfect for you who's in a rush but want to add moisture to your skin, or doesn't have a lot of time to pamper your skin so you can use this mask in a flash. so definitely up to you whether to try this mask or not. it's a good daily mask, but not for special occasion. as comparison to other japanese mask, i have to say that i like lululun mask better. have you tried this mask? let me know what you think about this mask..
