last year, i was hunting for a good hair treatment for hair fall to replace my ryeo hair treatment. although it works well, i can't stand the scent. and since i was expecting my third one, i couldn't predict if my hair would fall as badly as i had with my second one, so i guess it wouldn't hurt to get one. but unfortunately last year i couldn't find any. this year, somehow i managed to find one. there are 3 lines in ichikami brand, the smoothing line repairs hair cortex and smoothing hair surface; the moisturizing line repairs damage to hair cortex while moisturizing hair and scalp; the revitalizing line repair damage while preventing hair thinning. i chose the revitalizing line.

the packaging: i didn't know if this hair treatment come in any sealing whatsoever since my husband was the one in charge of setting the baggage when we were going back from japan, and when i got home, i only found this tube without any sealing at all while there's a label still sticking to the tube, so honestly i have no idea. the tube is pink (it's quite important since different line means different coloring) with a yellow flip top. unfortunately there's no sealing on the inside opening as well so the product leaks a bit when i open the top. there's a label at the back contains ingredients and instructions, but everything is in japanese so i have no idea what it's about. since this hair treatment comes in a tube, it makes it similar to my previous ryeo hair treatment. i like tube packaging better since it makes it easier to use rather than the one that comes in jar.
the scent: this one definitely has floral scent. at first it seems to fragrant especially when i took hot shower. somehow the steam made the scent stronger. it's a bit surprising since this is probably the first japanese product that i used that is most fragrant.
the product: the hair treatment is a dull yellow cream that has a slightly thicker consistency than conditioner. i honestly forgot how my ryeo hair treatment consistency was, but i thought it is similar to this one. it slathers easily to my hair and rinsing it is easy too.
the result: after rinsing it, my hair feels smooth and easy to comb through. recently i change my shampoo and somehow the shampoo makes my hair tangled like crazy at the end of the shampooing session and the hair treatment which i use as conditioner replacement help me untangle my hair. unfortunately, after using this almost two months, i notice there's no improvement in my hair condition. i'm still losing my hair although it's not as crazy as what i had with my second one. i also notice that some of my hair end splits. i'm not completely accusing this hair treatment as failure, some probably because i dyed my hair couple months ago. some probably because i don't cut my hair regularly so i only depend on this hair treatment solely and it might not be enough. anyway, all i can say that this hair treatment is moisturizing my hair enough and make it easier to untangle, but it doesn't seem to do anything else.
honestly, i'm quite disappointed in this hair treatment. i have such high hope considering that this brand is one of the best seller. i can't remember if the line that i choose is a best seller as well, but ichikami kracie is quite popular in japan. i don't like if i have to buy the entire line to see the result. but i will try another variant to see whether there's any difference if i got another chance. as for the price, i honestly forgot how much this hair treatment costs. but if it's labelled hair treatment, i'm hoping that it would work as one and not just as regular conditioner.
