briogeo don't despair, repair! repair and strengthen travel kit: deep conditioning mask
i have things for travel sets or minis, may it be in skincare or haircare. and holiday season is a time when i could get those minis or travel set freely. my husband was away for short time and i asked him to buy me briogeo travel set. at that time, we didn't have briogeo in our sephora yet, but now they do. i've heard good things about briogeo mask, the deep conditioning one and the other one for scalp, but for now i think i'll try the deep conditioning set first. i've tried the leave in conditioner before, and now it's time for the mask. i brought it with me to bali since i knew i'm going to swim for days, so it might be a good idea to bring the hair mask as the hotel won't provide one.

who it's for: those with dry, damaged hair that want the ultimate deep conditioning experience.

what it does: even the most overworked hair will benefit from this super-rich treatment collection, designed to repair, treat and hydrate the hair.
the mask: an intensive weekly treatment to repair, restore essential hydration and enhance hair's resilience to protect against future damage. the don't despair, repair! deep conditioning mask blends rosehip, sweet almond and argan oils with vitamin b5 and biotin to revitalize dry, damaged hair while protecting against future damage. shine and moisture are enhanced, so hair looks and feels visibly healthier and stronger.
safe for: color treated, keratin treated, chemically-treated, and relaxed hair.
the packaging: since i bought this in a set, this set comes in a peach soft pouch secured by a cardboard sleeve that has picture of everything inside the set. there's description at the back of the sleeve about all three products. the pouch has a zip so you can bring it with you when you're travelling. all products inside are cushioned with papers. there's also a card that comes with the set. all the products has white packaging but different color pattern on briogeo label. for this "don't despair, repair" set, the briogeo logo is red and black in color. the mask itself comes in a white plastic tube with white screw cap. another description on the body in english.
the scent: this one is scented, but nothing too much. i can still bear with it. i think it is similar with the leave in conditioner, but i can't say for sure since i use it quite some time before using the mask.

the product: the mask is white cream. it's quite thick, but has slightly gel consistency to it. compared to my body shop hair mask, the body shop one is more dense, more like butter. while this one is a little more lightweight. i can spread it easily from mid shaft to the end of my hair. i'm focusing more on my ends since that's where my hair is dry. i usually leave it until the end of my shower and rinse it off.

the result: i brought this with me when we went to bali last week. i knew that we're going to swim almost everyday if we let the kids have their way, and i'm pretty sure the hotel's conditioner won't be enough for my hair, so thank goodness i brought it along. i use it instead of hair conditioner, and it works well. my hair is saved. until i got home, my hair was still okay, no dryness. even though we swam almost everyday. it makes my hair soft and smooth even though i didn't bring my hair oil with me.
i have to say, though i don't like the leave in conditioner, i do love this hair mask. no wonder the mask is one of their best sellers. if you have dry and frizzy hair, i do recommend you to try this mask if you have the budget. but if you have oily scalp, i think you should just use this at the end of your hair. as for me, it's way out of my budget for the full size, but i would buy another mini size if i could.
