allglows cheek pigment in sherry

okay, after hanging on to my expired makeup throughout the pandemic, i decided to let them go at the end because they're expired for more than a year already. luckily i don't get reaction whenever i used them, but i don't want to risk it anymore since we're starting to get back to our normal routine. and i used to like powder formula, but maybe because i'm getting older, i prefer cream/liquid product for my face. soo.. i actually wanted to buy some rare beauty blushes, but i decided to pick one local liquid blush before buying the rare beauty one when i visited singapore, if i'm still interested, that is. anyway, let's see how it goes.

this is the description from their official tokopedia store: liquid blush with an ultra creamy formula that glides on your cheeks like a dream and effortlessly, smudge-proof, long lasting up to 8 hours. matte naturally re-defined everything you thought about liquid blush with the weightless and long wear formula that stays comfortable all day.
sherry is a midtone sunkissed pink.

right: you see, actually there's a stripped lines where you're supposed to rip the box at
the packaging: it comes in a pale cream box with description at the back in english as well as the ingredients list. they put the shade name and probably the color prediction on the small tab on the side of the box. my complaint is, it's hard to open the box. they put this fragmented part on the side that you have to rip to open the box and reveal the blush inside the special compartment, but... since it's hard to do so, i ended up ripping almost the whole box and it's ruined. please, maybe next time make it slide to get it out instead of having us to rip the side of the box. if you want to keep put it inside the special compartment, that is. anyway, the blush comes in a dark pink matte plastic tube. you can read the shade name at the bottom. if you ever saw sada lip product, then it has the same packaging as this one. the doe foot applicator is small but the perfect size to dab it on my cheek. it comes in 4,5 gram which i don't know, is it the usual size or too small since i forgot how much my flower beauty blush was. let's hope i can finish it.

the color: they have 5 shades to choose from. however, the first two shades are too light for my liking. they lean toward pastel color that i'm doubtful it will be suitable for all skin tones. i pick the sherry which is a mid tone pink but on the arm swatches, it looks a bit peachy as well. merlot and cava are the darker options, however, they are both warm tones. i don't find the mauvy or cool tone shade. anyway, it looks pretty bright straight from the tube, but after dabbing and blending it to my skin, it looks toned down and not as bright as it originally looks.

the product: it's runnier than flower beauty liquid blush that i've used before. you have to be quick in blending it though as it sets into powdery finish and once it's set, it doesn't budge. i like blending this with my finger because i'm lazy to pull out a brush or sponge. but, i can use brush or sponge to blend it and it works well with everything. anyway, i just found out yesterday when i was taking pictures. i accidentally tilted the bottle and it spilled. yep, it spilled. so be careful not to hold the bottle upside down when it's opened.

the result: i'm glad that this looks okay on my skin as i'm afraid that it will look too peachy on my skin. and it sets into powdery velvety finish so you don't necessarily need to set it with powder or powder blush on top, but you could if you want to. anyway, it transfers into my mask, but i'm not using any setting spray, so if you want to make it long lasting and transfer-proof, then maybe you should use setting spray on top of everything.

how it looks like on my cheek
honestly, i like the formula. however, i do hope they add more shade selection and toward a cool tone one or maybe a bright red one. anyway, price wise it's quite affordable and it was on sale when i bought it. however, the availability is not that good. you can buy them straight from their official marketplace and from sociolla, but some shades are sold out already. i won't decide anything regarding this blush, but i'm happy with my purchase.
