the aubree peptide eye cream

the cons about using an eye cream in tube format, either with the massager attached or not, is that you can't see the remaining product inside, especially since the tube is opaque. that's why, i didn't realize that i almost finished my eye cream until it's finished. i had to quickly find something else as my eye cream. i didn't find anything interesting so i bought something from the aubree since i was buying something else from them. thus, i have no expectation at all. so let's see how it goes.

this is the translated description from their official marketplace channel: eye cream that can help stimulate collagen production so it helps fade fine lines and brighten dark circle.
ingredients: Aqua, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Sodium PCA, Propylene Glycol Dibenzoate, PEG/PPG-20/20 Phenylisopropyl Caprylyl Dimethicone, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Triethanolamine, PEG-20 Stearate, Carbomer, Polyacrylamide, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Laureth-7, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7
the box
the packaging: it comes in a white box with description in indonesian as well as the ingredients printed on the sides and back of the box. they seal the top part with sticker. the eye cream itself comes in a small jar. it's a frosted glass jar with white plastic screw cap. there's a plastic cover to make sure the product doesn't come in contact with air directly. there's a tiny spatula provided by the brand. even though it's tiny, it's still bigger than the cover plastic so they can't put it inside the jar and just put it on top of the jar. which is not ideal since every time i want to use it, i have to find it and clean it up. i think they should either change the packaging or ditch the spatula altogether. this comes in 20 g which is quite generous considering most eye creams come in 15 g size.
the jar
the scent: this one is unscented, which is a common thing for eye creams.
the seal inside
the product: this is a white cream. it has slightly gel texture into it, but not much. it's not super thick either so it's still easy to spread around. it's easy to tap with my finger and absorbed easily as well.
how it looks like inside the jar
the result: i can still use this with my eye massager and it won't drag my under eye skin. the massager can still glide on easily. this feels moisturizing, however, i don't think it helps much with puffiness. as for the dark circle, since i sleep quite late, obviously it doesn't help much. anyway, since i don't take progress picture, it's hard to notice little difference. however, i don't think it helps much.

bottom: after blending it
i have to say this one is mediocre. just so-so. if you don't mind with the jar packaging, then you should try it. it's a decent eye cream, but it doesn't feel special. obviously i won't repurchase, but i think it will be suitable for all skin types, but maybe not mature skin as it's quite lightweight compared to other eye cream that's targeted toward aging skin.
