i have good experience with naruko raw job's essence, so since i was coming to singapore, i decided to repurchase the essence and also some masks. i'm curious whether or not their mask will perform as good as their essence. so i bought one from each type. this is the first mask that i try, so let's see about it.
the description from hermo website: this functional brightening mask helps brighten and smooth skin, with red and white job's tears extracts, yeast complex B for sebum control, pore-minimizing and other brightening ingredients, to balance skin and eliminate melanin, revealing flawlessly bright skin.
the packaging: just like the rest from this line, this one comes in red sachet. the whole raw job's line all comes in red packaging. at front you can see the sticker with the founder face on it along with the proclaim that this is taiwan's no 1 best selling mask. at the back there's description and ingredients list in english and mandarin.
the scent: it smells different from the essence. this one smells medicinal, although not too overwhelming. it's not my preference though, but i still can bear putting it on my face because the scent is very subtle.
the product: the mask is thin but feels papery to touch. it has plastic backing which i always appreciate when it comes to thin mask like this. it doesn't stretchy at all. it has wide nose bridge so the essence gets into my eyes when i try adjusting it. it has a bit tall forehead, wide temples and slit on lower jaw but doesn't help much when i adjust the mask. not the best fit for me, but i can still manage. the essence is a clear runny essence and very generous. there's a little bit excess but i put it back on the mask.
the result: i put it on for about 30-40 minutes and it's surely moisturizing and brightening. it doesn't leave sticky feeling after all the essence is being absorbed. i only have one mask so i can't say anything about the pore minimizing effect, but i think everyone is already guessed that it won't work.
i'm on the fence about this mask. i've had great experience with papa recipe and my beauty diary so i have high hope that this one will work as great. it's okay, but it doesn't make me want to repurchase it. especially the price here is more expensive than my beauty diary masks. but it works as promised though. it's moisturizing and brightening without being too heavy so i think every skin type can be benefited with this mask. as for availability, i think naruko is easily to get online, but here in indonesia, we only have selected line to buy from their distributor, and the raw job's isn't one of them. here we can only buy the rose (the pink one) and the narcissus (the greyish white one). so, easiest way to buy this is join preorder from singapore. so i won't bother repurchasing this one. but i will get one if i can buy it myself.
