ever since i tried my SNP eye patch, i always curious about petitfee. i decided to get snp because i read somewhere that petitfee is more fragrant. that's why i was worried that i might not stand the scent. but since i wanted to buy a first essence that's only available from koreadepart, i asked my sister to buy the petitfee too. after all it was on sale that time.
this is the description from memebox website: these hydrogel eye patches rejuvenate the windows to your soul. infused with black pearl and pure gold powders, they improve blood circulation, leaving the tired skin around your peepers refreshed and radiant.
the packaging: as usual, it has outer box with some descriptions on it. the eye patches are in a white plastic jar. there's a seal as usual to keep all the patches fresh, and i keep it on even after opening it. sometimes i would turn the jar upside down a couple times to make sure that the essence is well distributed.
the scent: okay, for my sensitive nose, it does smell fragrant but not too overwhelming. when i put it on, i can still smell it faintly.
the product: the eye patch is black, obviously, with gold glitter in it. not glitter literally, but when the lights hit it, you can see the golden sparkle. my husband said that i look like panda when i wear these eye patches. the eye patches have the ghost shape. or the website just mention it being "tear drop" shape. it's similar to SNP's, but with SNP, i can use it anyway i like. the narrow side inside or outside. it feels comfortable both ways. but with petitfee, i'm more comfortable using the narrow side inside rather than the other way around. i've tried using the chubbier side inside, but the narrow part is too tall for my eyes, so i decided to use the narrow part inside as usual. the essence is clear, and although i predict it's enough for every patch, i think SNP has more essence than petitfee. the direction said to keep this for about 30-40 minutes, but with this one, i barely make it to 30 minutes. the SNP will get thinner as the essence get absorbed, but this one, it doesn't differ much.
the result: i usually keep this one for about 20-30 minutes top. it hydrates my under eyes as well as SNP, but still not enough so i still top it off with eye cream. but i notice the brightness more visible than SNP. in combination with my eye creams, somehow i think it brightens my under eyes more. but if i only use this eye patch, it doesn't help much.
so, i was torn to decide which one i like better. i like how SNP moisturize my under eyes well, but it doesn't help brightening my under eyes. petitfee is moderately moisturize my under eyes, but when used together with eye cream, it brightens more. so each has its own characteristics. there are some people mention that this give them burning sensation, but i don't experience them. so i think since some people have reaction with these eye patches, those who have sensitive skin should really think twice. other than that, it works for me, so it might work for you.
update: this one dries quicker than SNP. i'm about a month past the PAO, just like the SNP, but this one dries out while the SNP is still moist.
