ever since i saw this line collaboration, i've wanted to try it. but somehow, the price of special edition mask sheet is always being elevated by several local online shops, so i keep postponing to buy it. so when my in laws were going to korea (i wanted to join but unfortunately the kids were too small and my youngest hasn't got his birth certificate yet at that moment) i put a list of essentials shopping list and gave it to my brother in laws. when he was there, he realized that i put a super hard-to-find items and even unfamiliar brands, so mostly he couldn't find it, but he managed to buy this mask. i was asking him to buy one each, but he grabbed a box each! hahaha.. turns out it was cheaper there. lucky me!
the description from koreadepart.com: delivers the nutrition of whole bottle of ampoule. cute line friends face painting fabric. contains centella asiatica, portulaca olearacea extract, salicylic acid. relieves and soothes the stress of skin to give clear skin. silky fiber cellulose sheet to give intensive moisturizing and nourishing effect.
the packaging: if you didn't know, the line limited edition comes in 4 variants, the ac dressing one is the green one. it has the duck pictures at front. at the back, there's descriptions in english. my bro in law bought me a box, which has 10 masks in a box. the box has the same design as the individual mask packaging.
the scent: it has mild scent, but i can't decide what kind. perhaps floral or baby powder scent. although it's not too overwhelming, but the scent lingers.
the product: the mask is thin, i don't know whether it's made of cotton or silk. all i can say it's thinner than my usual korean masks, but slightly thicker than MBD's. it has this tiny duck face printed on the cheek. my husband laughs at me when he saw the duck face on my cheek. i do hope it has bigger printed face all over the mask, like other brands character mask, but oh well, i'm not the maker. it adheres well, and it's very comfortable. it soaks in clear essence. thankfully although it's soaked well, it's not dripping everywhere. the fit is okay. it has rather long eye holes, but other than that you can manage the slits to fit the mask to your face for better fit. i use it for about 50 minutes and the center part is dry quicker. which is weird. usually the edges dry quicker.
the result: it sure does moisturizing. it does leave sticky feeling afterwards, so sometimes i will skip my AIO and just put my serum and night cream. and the next morning i can still feel it forms a layer of moisture on top of my skin. it's soothing too. as for acne care, i use it both during my breakouts period. the first time, it does help calm my blemish. the second time, it helps fasten the healing period. but it might be for other cause, like i just use it at the right time.
i definitely like it. i haven't tried the other variants. but i will update it soon. all i can say, this is a good mask to buy. it's moisturizing and soothing and i think it's worth to keep for emergency days. all i can say, i will try the original version as well if i can get my hands on them.
