innisfree released a new version of their famous clay pack in mousse form. both the original volcanic clay pack and the super volcanic are repackaged in mousse form. but the original form from both mask are still available. i want to try one of them, but it's quite expensive and right now i'm in tight budget since i have two kids now. if there's anything cheaper but probably has the same effect, then i'm buying it. in this case, it's the face shop. by the time innisfree is releasing their clay mousse pack, the face shop also released their jeju volcanic lava clay mousse pack. the thing about the former clay pack is it's easily dry out, quicker than it's supposed to be. mine got dried out after 6 months or so. while i still have more than half the tub. that's a waste, considering it's so good. so innisfree changed it to mousse form. i've read about other bloggers' review that it's good. and nothing about the face shop just yet. but it's slightly cheaper. so i think why not try it? after all face shop is a well known brand too.

description from jolse.com: containing jeju volcanic soil which is good at pore care. city defender complex contained for fine dust care. city defender complex: jeju sasa borealis (hack.) makino, jeju clematis and jeju seaweed fusiforme. jeju sasa borealis (hack.) makino - pore tightening effect with rich tannin. jeju clematis - skin moisturizing film forming and tone up effect. jeju seaweed fusiforme - healthy skin texture and rich mineral.

and this is the description from the box: the volcanic lava line contains volcanic soil, a rare natural ingredient that effectively absorbs sebum and cleanses the skin pores. this red soil has fine pores of its own, created when lava hardened rapidly after Hallasan Mountain erupted some 600,000 years ago. this cushiony, whipped cream-like mousse mask with jeju volcanic ash goes on smooth and helps remove debris from the pores. all-new formula leaves skin moisturized without that dry, tight feeling. formulated with 1975 mg of sebum-absorbing jeju volcanic ash (jeju volcanic ash is the product of volcanic activity on jeju island. its porous texture absorbs excess sebum and provides intensive pore care). formulated with city defender complex to help fight the effects of fine dust (city defender complex, formulated with ingredients from jeju island, helps defend skin against the elements and fine dust).

the packaging: it's a pump brown can bottle with white plastic cap. if you're familiar with korean products, you might knew that they always seal their products. as for this one, i'm quite surprised they put a seal in front of the pump. it's something new for me.. but i'm glad it comes with a seal for the pump.

the smell: okay.. i might be uncertain about this. the first time i'm testing this, i think i smell something lemon-y.. but second time, i don't think it smells like lemon. in fact, i'm quite confused. it's not floral and not fragrance of some sort, but it has a distinct smell. but it's not yucky like missha clay mask.

the product: innisfree one is grey. this one is brown. beige brownish grey. or greyish beige brown? the pump can squirt the product according to the pressure you're applying. if you're hoping it will look like mousse in hair product, then you're wrong. since it's a clay mask, it's quite heavy. probably it will look like squirting a whipping cream. but heavier whipping cream. it spreads easily and not dry out as fast as the innisfree one. but this one cracks after 15-20 minutes. although i have to admit i still yawn, talk and stuff when i use this mask, but i think even though i stay still it will still crack. as the term of the cleansing part, this one is as hard to clean as the innisfree one, even though i've used warm water to do it.

the result: the cooling sensation is clearer than innisfree. from the moment i put it on my face, i can feel the cooling sensation immediately. but it's vanished soon as the mask harden. i can also feel the tightening effect as the mask harden. i've used this twice a week for two weeks now, and i can't say about the pore effect. all i can say it helps with the sebum production (it's hoootttt in indonesia right now, so my sebum production is definitely increasing), but for pores? hmm.. i notice that i don't have much blackheads as before. but i also use cosrx BHA and AHA every other day, so probably it also helps with the pores.

oh well, all i can say i'm quite happy with this one. though probably the real judgement is by trying the mousse form from innisfree. but as a substitute, i'm quite happy with this one. if you think the innisfree one is too expensive to try, then try the face shop one. but if you're fanatic about innisfree, then skip this.

ah yes, i should've written this review first before the BHA one, but i forgot. oh well, probably because i don't like it as much as the BHA one. oh well, again, if you are not familiar with acids just yet, just google it.
pic from ebay
this is the description from wishtrend: AHA 7 whitehead power liquid includes apple water containing natural AHA and glycolic acid. it exfoliates to deep clean the skin, relaxes pores reduces excess dead skin problems and trouble issues such as whiteheads and blackheads. AHA 7 whitehead power liquid clears away old dead skin cells trapped inside the pores. works alongside vitamins, whiteners and natural moisturizer treatments, managing dead skin cells without unnecessary stimulation. helping skin management while creating healthier skin with more vitality.
apple water: an alpha-hydroxy acid naturally-occuring found in sugar cane and malic acid, derived from apples, which will help to exfoliate dead skin cells, reduce the appearance of fine lines, sun damage and hyperpigmentation, diminish the appearance of large pores and acne scarring. a great ingredient for reducing blackheads, whiteheads and troubles on skin. it even moisturizes the skin at the same time as removing dead skin cells. you will find your skin is smooth, soft, and comfortable. moisture, pore control, and brightening - it immediately purifies and tones up your skin leaving is clearer and more bright. whitehead clearance - no more difficulty removing whiteheads and sebum. AHA product with hyaluronic acid - it controls excessive sebum and achieves excellent moisture retention in combination with hyaluronic acid. AHA for repairing skin damage - works well for sun damaged skin. also it is good for spots, dryness and trouble.

the packaging: just like the BHA one, this one comes in a white frosted plastic bottle with a pump and a plastic cap to protect the pump. there's a sticker label on the bottle that indicates the name of the product. and a little bit english explanation. yay for that. oh, and the box has a lot of english descriptions and instructions. not just hangul. super yay..

the smell: well, fiddy from fiftyshadesofsnail said that this one smells like hell. yucky. but since i have bad nose, i can't pick it up. if you're sensitive about scent, and dislike smelly product, then skip it or pinch your nose when you use it.

the product: it's just like BHA, clear substances that runny just like water. it's adsorbed easily onto my skin and doesn't leave sticky feeling. with this one, i started it slowly just like snowwhiteandthepear suggested. i use it once a week for two weeks and two days a week for another two weeks and then every other day until now.

the result: although i've been taking it slowly, but i still experience purging from this one. and i didn't see any changes in my whiteheads nor anything else. it only gives me some acnes. i wonder if i've been using it wrong or else. but i keep using it nonetheless.. i hope it might do miracle for me.

overall, i do think AHA is suitable more for dry skin. i've been using it alone without BHA and it does nothing. and i tried BHA and i feel my skin's getting better. so that's why if you have dry skin, maybe this one for you. as for me, i won't use it alone without BHA.

i have no knowledge about acid until about recently when i accidentally stumbled upon fiftyshadesofsnail's blog. i don't even know about cosrx at that time. but looking at so many instagrammers bragging about it, well, i think it's worth to try. then i read about acids and decided probably i should join in the wagon. i'm 30 now.. so i think exfoliation should be in order. at first, i think the AHA is for me and the BHA definitely for my husband, but since it takes time to use acid, sometimes i lost when i should apply it to him. so i decided to try it myself. and i have to admit, i probably wrong for not needing the BHA. if you have no idea about acid, i suggest you google fiftyshadesofsnail's blog and read about it. she writes extensive blogpost about it and you should read it here .
pic from wishtrend
this is description from cosrx: natural BHA component (betaine salicylate 4%) removes dead skin cells and blackheads accumulated in pores. forms moisturizing layer. BHA blackhead power liquid gets rid of dead skin cell and blackhead within the pores and prevents oxidized sebum from turning into blackheads. BHA blackhead power liquid has mixed a natural BHA ingredient, betaine salicylate, at 4%, and you can witness your skin get smoother and glossy as time goes by, as well as it light texture.
and this is the description from wishtrend: exfoliate to prevent blackheads firsthand, brighten & whiten for a more even skin tone. fight off blemishes even before they happen. achieve and maintain smooth, soft skin.

the packaging: it's packaged in a frosted white plastic bottle with a pump and a transparent cap to seal the pump. there's a simple label at the front of the bottle in black background with white text indicating the name of the product.

the smell: i think it's odorless.. but it's me and my nose. it can't be trusted.

the product: it's a clear product, like water, just not as runny as water. just slightly. since it won't slip easily from the back of my hand the moment i poured it on my hand. easily absorbed onto my skin. doesn't leave sticky feeling.

the result: oh well, i've been using this for more than 3 months now, every other day. i don't have the diligence to wait the waiting time every day. as for now, i'm happy i tried it. i don't notice pores size downsizing though, but all i can say it helps shrink my acne. even the cystic one. soo yayy.. it helps. and lately i've noticed my skin becomes smoother and a little bit brightened. but since i'm pretty pale, i might be wrong. oh and i didn't use this step by step, means i straightly use this every other day, unlike the AHA. and i don't experience purging unlike the AHA too.

overall, if you think you need acid in your life, please do try this one. everyone keeps saying this one is better than paula choice and cheaper. since i never use paula choice, i have no saying about this. oh and if you're confused about the order of your skincare steps, google it. read a lot of blogs. all i can say acids or treatments come after toner and before everything else. go figure it yourself.

the product bottle and the pump
yes, i finally give in. my hubby said better treat it today than sorry tomorrow. even though i knew probably this is just hormonal because of giving birth to my daughter, but i will obey my hubby and bought myself an anti hair loss treatment. i've read about ryeo shampoo and conditioner from beautifulbun's blog, and luckily it's sold in testerkorea. so, i decided to take a look and voila.. the essence is on sale at that moment. and i decided to grab the treatment too considering my own hair mask is pretty low (although i've bought the back up, but haven't opened it yet.. so i can try new things first).

so basically i can't find anything about ryeo other than the blog, but after making the purchase, i found out that there's a deluxe sample from this treatment in memebox global #12. so, here's the description provided by memebox.
description: infused with biota seed, coix seed, green tea, and gold extracts, this hair treatment will not only prevent hair loss but also re-energize and strengthen thin, damaged hair. it's excellent cooling formula will gently soothe and nourish your scalp at the same time.
how to use: apply generously over wet hair and massage the scalp with your fingertips. wait for 2-3 minutes before rinsing off with warm water. use daily.

packaging: it's packaged in a big purple tube with flip top. the only english text that i can see on the tube is written "anti-hair loss treatment". other than that.. nada.. everything is in korea. the opening is sealed as usual..so it's safe, you don't have to worry that it will spill during the travel.

the smell: oh gosh.. i think i should have searched more about this one before buying. let me remind you, if you're sensitive to scent or doesn't like herbal scent, then skip this. really. skip this. but if you think it's worth the try, then go for it. let me tell you.. the scent is very very strong. i can smell it from inside the bag full of my purchases the moment it's handed to me. some say it smells like ginseng. all i can say it smells like my mum's anti hair loss essence ages ago. makes me feel old. yucks.

the product: it's a mushy cream, slightly runny so be careful when you hold it to dispense the product since it might crawling out easily when you hold the tube upright. the cream is purplish greyish.. not very inviting. when it's applied, you can feel the cooling sensation almost instantly on your scalp.

the result: i've been using this for more than 2 months now, every time i wash my hair i always use this treatment. and i can confidently say that this one works. although some of my hair still falling, but it lessen. when i comb my hair, i don't find lots of hair falling and caught by my comb. but like i've stated earlier, there's a hormonal factor in my hair loss problem, so i can still see my hair falling when i wash it and it will clogged the duct, but i can sure say it's lessen now. even few days ago i went to hair salon to get my face and hair done for my sis engagement day, and the hair stylist said that i have a lot of new hair growing now. i think the hair fall period is almost over and my hair is beginning to grow back again.

overall, i'm glad it works.. because it SMELLSSSSSS.... would i purchase it again? probably if my hair fall problem continues, but otherwise, i will go back to my previous hair mask. oh, and this one only works for hair fall problem, it doesn't help with the dryness and scalp oil imbalance.

this episode theme is about slim and light beauty. in this episode there are a lot of interesting products, but i don't think i will try them all. since there are a lot of products, we will discuss about them first before getting into the tips.

from the presentation, there are many type of pack to reduce your pore, mud pack, carbonated pack and rubber pack. actually, i can't find the exact product they're displaying in the video, but the famous mud pack probably from innisfree, the clay mask. as for the carbonated pack, i think the elizavecca carbonated clay mask is popular right now, i mean.. look at the piggy.. it's cute enough to make you want to buy it. and the rubber pack.. there are a lot of variants right now.. shangpree gold mask.. and ettang.. well, you name it i think they will have it.

from the makeup demonstration, since the theme is about slim and light beauty, the makeup demo also slim the steps. the makeup artist prep the model skin by using a vanishing balm. i never heard such stuff and never heard the brand either.. so i have no idea if it's good or not.

9 wishes vanishing balm
then he only uses one brow pencil and powder to do the eyebrow, eyeline, and shading and contouring. although there are many similar products like this one, but i think the one used in this episode is from missha, the style pencil and powder duo eyebrow.
missha the style pencil & powder dual eyebrow
as for the lip product, the makeup artist uses a tint marker and lip balm duo. it's supposed to make the gradual lip since it's a forever trend in korea. i thought it was 3ce product at first, but looking closer, i think it's more likely the espoir one. the tint tip to give the color on your lips and then using the lip balm to spread out the color to make the gradual effect and moisturize your lip as well. i think this concept is being copied by maybelline with their color blur lip product.. oh well, there are some korean products being copied by the western brand to reach korean lover in western people.

espoir tint marker and lip balm duo

see.. there are a lot of interesting products in this episode. but not so many tips though. there are no useful tips from the makeup demo. it's pretty simple. but however, there's a beauty segment about beauty without bulleting your wallet. the first one is a DIY hydrating toner from aloe. fill half bottle with aloe flesh and the rest with rice wine. ferment it for 10 days in shade. and voila.. you'll have your aloe toner.

and there's a blemish and dark spot pack removal using a rice wine. let the rice wine sit and then pour out the clear water and dip the cotton pad into the yeast. use like a pack. rice wine contains kojic acid to help vanish blemish and dark spots.

if you have dry skin, then this tip is for you. you can use squalene (shark liver oil, usually you drink it for your health) and mix it with your cream to create a nutritional cream for your face. and last tip for people with acne. you can rub the inner banana skin peel on acne and massage it for 10 minutes and then wash it. easy right? though i never try if it's true. if any of you have tried any of this tips and found them to be true.. please do share..

somehow i forgot to write a review on this mask sheet while i've been using this twice! oh well, life with toddler and a baby is a mess. even though i've put everything in my notes, sometimes i missed a thing or two. oh well.. i've been ambitious too about sheet mask. if you're active on instagram, then you'll probably familiar with #7dayschallenge from charlette cho and somehow it makes me want to use up all my sheet masks. but it's only last for a week. hahaa.. i've only managed to use every two days. and this week it's another hell in my home.. so skincare back to its old boring routine.

this is the description from etudehouse.com:
this mask sheet contains pomegranate extract (punica granatum fruit extract), providing smoothing and firming care to dull and lifeless skin.

the packaging: like the rest from i need you mask sheet series, every sachet has its main ingredients pictured in front of the sachet.

the smell: well, i know for sure this one doesn't smell like pomegranate. more like just an ordinary wet tissue.

the product: i slightly forget about the fit, but i think it's somewhere between the pearl and mugwort. though it's not as comfortable as mugwort, but it doesn't annoy me like pearl. the essence is just enough, but it doesn't dry out as dry as innisfree. although i've used it for 30 minutes, i can still feel it's a bit damp. a bit cooling effect when first applied, but no hot feeling after removing it.

the result: i don't know about the firming effect although i've been using it twice. oh and i've used two products with pomegranate that used for firming effect.. probably it will help with the firming.. as for the moisturizing effect, i'm quite disappointed though. most anti-aging products or those who promised for firming the skin usually very moisturizing, but this one is just so-so. after the essence is completely dry, i can't feel the moisturizing effect. sometimes i will feel a layer of moisture film after using an anti aging product, but this one feels like any ordinary mask sheet.

so.. this is a nice mask sheet to try, but i do hope this one smells more like pomegranate. and more moisturizing since it's supposed for firming your skin. anyway.. do try.. it won't break your wallet anyway..

i got this sample as freebies from my roseroseshop haul (i think.. ), and i have no idea what it was. my sister also didn't know what it was. even we can't figure out what brand it is. and then i googled translate it. luckily it could read it as missha geum sul.. and then i have to search to missha website to find out that it was an emulsion.

this is from misshaus.com: geumsul milky emulsion is a premium oriental deep moisturizer that rejuvenates and purifies your skin. it's made with high quality ingredients, including wild ginseng, deer antlers, reishi mushrooms, and gold extract. pure gold helps brighten skin tone. 100% ginseng water is used instead of regular water to boost elasticity and give skin a healthy foundation. also, 97 kinds of oriental medicine are included to help decrease traces of aging. the emulsion has a mild formula as it is dye-free, paraben-free, triclosan-free, mineral oil-free, and GMO-free.

the packaging: well, seeing from the advertorial pic, the full size version is really pretty. a golden brown bottle. the sample is similar, it has the same golden brown color. but it's in smaller bottle, with screw top cap. trust me, if i can tell the manufacturer, switch to pump bottle for thicker product like this emulsion. using screw top make it very hard to get the product out. i managed to get it out by picking it with the stick of my spatula from my nature rep's cream.

the smell: it's labelled as oriental with ginseng in the ingredients, so i'm not surprised when i smell medicated scent, which remind me of sulwhasoo, but since i haven't used sulwhasoo for some time, i can't decided if it's similar or not. maybe it's ginseng.. maybe not. all i know if you're not familiar with medicated scent, then skip this.

the product: it's a white thick cream. i think the consistency is similar to my olay cream. well, it's not weird although it's labelled as emulsion but has the same consistency as cream since it's labelled as anti-aging. mostly anti aging products are thicker than usual. although it's thick, it's easily absorbed and doesn't feel sticky.

the result: the sample could last for a week, since i'm only using it at night. at first i tried to use it in the morning, but it's way too rich, and it makes me oily again so i switched it to night time only. it's not weird since most anti-aging products are rich. after switching it to nighttime, it's perfect. it gives enough moisture and doesn't make my skin greasy the morning after. but as for the anti aging property, i can't say anything since i'm not testing it long enough to give the verdict. as for the brightening effect, like i said, i'm fair enough to start with, so i have no saying too about it. but unfortunately, i think this one gives me breaks out, so i probably won't try this line.

so.. if you want to try anti aging product, then you can try this one. especially for dry skin. but for oily skin, i think skip it. even emulsion is pretty thick. and if you don't like herbal scent, skip it. other than that, i think everyone is different so i suggest you try the sample before jumping into buying full size.
the sample bottle
this episode theme is college girls special. they are talking all about college girl, about their muse, their beauty concern and also makeup tips. there aren't many useful tips from the beauty muse. standard for each muse, but there's a tip from one muse that stuck with me, she suggested to use orange tone eyeshadow to hide protrude and swollen eye.

in this episode there are 3 makeup demos. although there aren't much difference among them, but i like them. i think this makeup demo is a picture about korean makeup trend that i like. clean face and skin, with subtle eye and lip. i don't like heavy smokey eyes that usually western beauties use, so i think this makeup demo is refreshing. moreover it's suitable for makeup rookie like me, who doesn't have a lot of brushes or tools and makeup items.

from the first 3 minute makeup demo, the makeup artist used bb cushion for base makeup, and then drew straight eyebrow with dark eyeshadow, and then peach eyeshadow to brighten the face. she also tightlined the eyeline with eyeshadow. a tip for hooded lid or usually monolid, don't forget to fill the triangular space on the eye side but subtle, not heavy handedly. after that she will apply lip tint and cream blush.

the second makeup demo is for blind date. a tip for those with oily skin or acne: apply foundation twice to make sure the foundation stick. either with brush or sponge. and mix peach lipstick with concealer to cover dark circles. use gold shimmer eyeshadow on lower lash line to make the eyes sparkle. and then draw straight line on top lash line. (yes, cat eye is difficult.. so it's easier to draw straight for beginner).

the third one is makeup demo for job interview. this one, she used cc oil. a tip: mix horse oil: cc cream 1:1 to make it more dewy. contour nose bridge for higher nose bridge.

there aren't many interesting items on this episode, however, there is this lip tint, the one with 3 colors in a bullet. i thought it was laneige lip bar duo, but when i saw it again, it wasn't. then i searched again and i found out that it's vdl tint lip bar triple shot. it's easy to make gradation lip that was trend in korean a while back.

3 colors in a tube.. how practical!

oh i forgot, there are some amusing tips to change your habit to become prettier. some tips are widely known, but some are new, for me at least.
1. breathe with your nose for slimmer face. breathe with your mouth can stretch the jaw and make the chin short.
2. lower your vanity mirror. raising eyebrow and looking up while applying eye makeup, can make small wrinkles permanent.
3. roll your pupils to strengthen eye muscle.

the other are bad habits that make you ugly:
1. drink your beverages with straws : making duck faces or using straws to drink make repeated use of your orbital muscles.. hence making the smile lines appear.
2. long use of your mobile phone: long use of your mobile phone can cause heat issue, which will cause collagen that responsible for resilience damaged.
3. eating a lot of sugar: it will cause saccharification of protein. collagen is protein so saccharification can cause aging and bigger pores.
4. resting your hand on one side of your face can make your face bigger since it will cause your face asymmetrical.
oh, and if you want to watch the full episode, you can watch it here:

when i purchased my witch hazel toner, i decided to buy something else. i don't know why but i seldom only buy one thing from an online shop. i usually end up buying at least two. probably since i don't want to waste the shipping fee. and although i don't want to try anything else at the moment, but i think a facial foam is something that i and my husband will always use, so i decided to try the pore refine deep cleansing foam.
pic from w2beauty
this is the description from eng.mizon.co.kr:
pore clean deep cleansing - removing waste and dead skin cell (kaolin/charcoal) - for purifying deep cleansing, kaolin and charcoal effectively absorb excessive waste, sebum and dead skin cell in pores and help skin clean.
suppression of excessive sebum secretion - pores appear bigger by excessive sebum. for roughened skin, absorb sebum carefully and do not damage sebum film to leave moisturizing ingredient.
refreshing feeling - cooling effect (fresh feeling with mint flavor) - the minty cooling foam breaks up excess oil, dirt, and dead skin cell that can clog enlarged pores while killing bacteria. soothing botanicals leave skin moisturized and smooth.
elastic and soft texture + rich bubbles - differentiated elastic texture combines active ingredients with pore cleansing ability to show massaging effect. you will experience perfect pore cleansing effect.
no paraben and other artificial coloring - harmful ingredients such as paraben and artificial coloring is minimized. helps mild cleansing and maximizes skin care effect.

okay.. honestly i have no idea what to expect from this foam, but i hope it will not strip clean my skin like the previous skinfood egg white foam (sorry, i forget the exact name)

the packaging: when i searched for this product, i saw a different bottle with different design and color. i think the older design is the brown tube with the text written downward. but the one that i have right now is green tube, with flip top and there's a big "pore" text written at the right top side and the complete name and a bit description on the bottom part. there's nothing written at the back.

the smell: i sniff pretty hard and i can smell a hint of mint. very subtle. i can't even smell it when i apply it to my face.

the product: the foam itself is white, with a tiny black dots. some people say it's the charcoal part. at first i think it's microbeads like etude's, but it's not. it doesn't feel grainy or beady.. it's just dots that will dissolve completely.

the result: yes, this one cleans completely, although i don't think it can remove makeup. not as stripping as the skinfood. so.. i'm glad it's not that drying for my skin.

i like this one, but i have to wait for my husband to try it since he's quite picky. if he liked it, then i will certainly put this one on my facial foam rotation.

this episode theme is seductive beauty to attract men. after exciting episode last time, this time i'm not quite interested in what they're talking about. probably since i'm married so i'm not related anymore to that topic, although there are some tips that i might use in the future.

there are some ways to attract men, one of them is through the senses, especially through sight and smell. there are tips on spraying perfume, spray on pulses or spray from bottom since the scent will go upward. and probably you've already known that you don't supposed to spray on your clothes.

from the makeup demo, there are a few tips to prepare your skin so your makeup will stay put nicely. first is to give your skin enough moisture. one way to achieve it is by using a homemade pack. sensitive skin usually will react to ingredients in the common pack so in order to avoid it you can make it yourself. green tea is a common ingredient for soothing your skin and give enough moisture. all you have to do to make a green tea pack is to soak a cotton pad in green tea overnight and then use it on your face for 5 minutes.

there are not so many interesting products in this episode, but there's this one thing called the wrinkle filler. it's supposed to smooth fine lines on your face to cover your wrinkle if you have any. i searched about it and i found out that it was elizabeth arden prevage anti aging wrinkle smoother.

if you're interested in watching the full episode, you can watch it here:

actually, there are a lot of new korean skincare and makeup products that i want to try.. but i have to adjust my budget and needs. sooo.. i decided to pick these items. actually i planned to get it from tester korea and local online shop, but turned out my usual online shop came back disappointing.. most of my orders are out of stock. so i asked my sister to buy them for me.

this is what i managed to get from my usual online shop:
1. missha natural color clay mask [firming] (reviewed here)
missha released several color clay masks. there are 4 types of them. green for pore care, purple for firming, yellow for brightening and pink for moisturizing. i decided to pick the firming one since i wanted to try the new clay mousse pack (well, innisfree is slightly pricier than face shop so i decided to try the face shop one).
2. etude house dr.lash mascara fixer for long lash
yes.. i decided to give this transparent mascara a chance. though some complaining about the cleaning part, i hope my eye makeup remover can do the job.
left: dr.lash mascara fixer
right: natural color clay mask

from tester korea:
1. skinfood black sugar perfect first serum 2x light
yep.. another tick on my wish list. when i saw it on skinfood instagram, i decided to check on tester korea and there it is! i have to try it.. i haven't tried the original version, though i had the sample.. i hope i can compare them both. actually, there are two types, the essential and light one. i think since innisfree soybean also has the light version, so i think i will try the light version too. the description says that it's suitable for combination oily skin, so i hope it's perfect.
2. secret key snail+egf repairing eye cream (reviewed here)
perhaps some of you already knew that i'm in search for another eye cream. although i wanted to try loreal, but somehow i always hesitate to buy it. so when i watched the other beauty bible, there's topic about EGF and somehow when i saw secretkey snail+egf eye cream, i searched for reviews and then decided to buy it. it's on sale too.. if this one is disappointing, i will try the STE eye cream from secret key too..
3. ryoe jayangyunmo treatment (reviewed here)
4. ryoe jayang yunmo anti-hair loss essence
well, i finally gave in. i've been suffering from extremely hair loss since my daughter's birth. although my hair is a lot, but seeing those hairs falling off scares me. and my husband told me to get treatment. i don't want to spend money on expensive stuff from local hair salon, and i decided to try ryoe. i've read once about it on beautifulbun's blog so i want to try them. i didn't know that testerkorea had them, so when i found out that there's ryoe on TK, i'm happy and decided to try them.
5. repeat order on innisfree apple juicy cleansing oil
well, i can order it from my online shop, but when i made my preorder, i wanted to try the hype bioderma sensibio micellar water. but after reading a lot of thoughts and reviews, i decided to go back to cleansing oil.

my tester korea haul products
after finding out that almost all my order are out of stock, i asked my sis to order from qoo10
1. the face shop jeju volcanic lava pore clay mousse pack (reviewed here)
although innisfree is famous for their clay pack, i hope the face shop doesn't disappoint me though.
2. skinfood vita water pore cushion bottle
i finished my innisfree cushion so i decided to try a new product from skinfood. watching all those "cooling" stuff reviewed on the other beauty bible makes me want to try one of them. and i live in tropical country, so a cooling item is a must.
3. innisfree eco cooling sun spray (reviewed here)
ahaha.. another cooling item. but i have excuse. we have sun all day long so i don't want to reapply my sunscreen cream, so why not try in spray form?

and last but not least, i'm buying ready stock from chicprincessa again. i'm running out of my sunscreen so i'm replacing it.
1. etude house sunprise mild watery light. yep.. although i've said that i'm probably buying the sunprise essence gel, but i decided to try the new version of sunscreen that etude has. everybody seems to like it so why not try it? (reviewed here)
2. etude house proof 10 eye primer: i need a replacement for my elf eyelid primer, so i decided to buy this. dollars is increasing so i don't think of buying elf again even though it's really cheap. hence the etude house. (reviewed here)
3. rebuying etude house baking powder bb cleansing foam.
when i found out that missha released 4 types of color clay mask, i have to have one of them at least.
pic from roseroseshop
the pink one is for moisture, the green one is for sebum and pore care, the yellow one for brightening (skintone), the purple one for firming and nutrition. at first i want to try the green one and the purple one, but i cancelled the green one since i'm getting the face shop volcanic lava clay mousse mask to replace my innisfree super volcanic clay mask.

if you're familiar with #rasianbeauty in instagram, you'll probably know fanserviced-b, who popularized the multi-masking. i think missha released these clay masks to accommodate those who want to try multi-masking. they even give some tips too..

top left: for combination skin - green clay on T-zone and pink clay on U-zone
top right: dry skin - pink clay on T-zone and purple clay on U-zone
bottom left: for sensitive skin - pink clay on T-zone, yellow clay on cheeks, green clay on jaw line
bottom right: for a date/interview - yellow clay on forehead and cheeks, green clay on nose, purple clay on jaw line
this is the description from en.koreadepart.com: moisture pack contains the selection of brazilian purple clay improves skin elasticity and nutrition to make skin more firm. the purple clay rich of natural nutritional supplements for strengthen skin and elasticity, keeping tight skin without sagging. various color types of the clay pack of mix and match skin types with different color clays & care.

the packaging: it's a tube with screw top. like a toothpaste. although the front of the tube has english writing on it, but the back has no english instruction whatsoever. oh, and like all the korean products, it comes in a sealed opening.

the smell: if i can pick a scent, then it must be bad. i can smell clay. yucky scent. yuck..

the product: it's like a toothpaste, really. since i pick the firming one, i expect a purple clay, like advertised. but i get a very very pale purple clay. very soft when freshly squeezed from the tube. easy to spread on my face, but it doesn't give purple color as advertised. although on my second trial i try to layer more product, but it still doesn't give me that purple color that i'm hoping for. and it will be hard after 10 minutes or so. and not as hard as innisfree's, but it's hard, although i can still move my mouth and jaw. and it's easier to wash off unlike innisfree's. probably since it doesn't that hard so it's easier to wash.

the result: well, i don't think i can feel any firming effect instantly, though i've been using this twice, but i can't still feel anything. but i'm quite concern about breakouts, since after the second time using this mask, i experienced breakouts. but i can't sure if it's caused by this mask or by other product that i'm testing right now.

overall, i'm quite disappointed. i'm setting my hope high for this clay mask, but somehow i don't like it. or not like it so far. i do hope this one doesn't cause the breakouts. we'll see after further usage. if you're interested in this clay mask, then do try. probably you have luck with this product.

this two days is quite a hell.. and i'm trying to use all my sheet mask. seeing that a lot of people getting into this sheet mask madness thanks to charlotte cho, i'm intrigued to feel the difference after using mask sheet regularly. moreover, i'm on acid now, so i think i need more hydration than before.

when i wrote this review, the innisfreeworld website is down for maintenance, so this is the description i found from en.koreadepart.com: real source mask with wester rose extract providing moisture for soft glowing skin. jeju green complex penetrate deep into skin providing moisture for bright and clear skin. triple layer sheet provide long lasting moisture and keep essence moist for long hours giving quick skin absorption.

the packaging: honestly, although this one is considered boring, but i like it. it's doff sachet with white base with the main ingredients pictured in front. for this one, it's rose. at the back there's a description in english and korean.

the smell: though i have bad nose, i can still pick the rose scent from this sheet. very fragrant, but after a while, it's gone. you can smell it if you sniff a lot, but it's not that offensive for me.

the product: yes, it's soaking wet, but not as wet as etude's. and i forget how fit is this mask. although the jaw part is bigger than mine and having the essence dripping on my neck is not nice. i wore it for 20 minutes or so and there's a cool feeling when i applied it on my face. no hot feeling after taking it off.

the result: well, moisturizing is guaranteed, no sticky feeling. as for the brightening.. again, being fair is not fair sometimes. i can't judge the brightening effect.. but i think it will make your skin looks more radiant.

if i don't have a long list of mask sheet that i want to try, then this one will definitely be back on my list.
