  • About me
i bought this because i'm interested in erha age corrector line. back then, they had this serum and separate moisturizer for day and night. but lately, they've revamped the line and changed the serum as well. now they have boosters (i think there are five boosters) and probably change the formulation of the serum as well. the new one has black/red label while this one has white label, that's why i put "old version" in the title as not to confuse anyone.

this is the description from watson website (as erha already changed their website) which i've translated: anti aging serum that's clinically proven helps to fade fine lines on your face and helps maintain skin and neck elasticity.
- L-mucin, bio sodium hyaluronate, D-panthenol to moisturize skin.
- carnosine, prodizia and soybean phytoplacenta to regenerate skin cells.
- peptide complex, juventide, matrigenic for skin elasticity and beta white for brightening skin.
star ingredients: L-mucin, sodium hyaluronate, D-panthenol, carnosine, prodizia, soybean phytoplacenta extract, peptide complex, beta white.
ingredients list: aqua, pentylene glycol, carnosine, butylene glycol, snail secretion filtrate, glycerin, glycine soja seed extract, calcium chloride, carbomer, polysorbate 20, palmitoyl oligopeptide, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7, dicaprylyl carbonate, hibiscus abelmoschus seed extract, xanthan gum, undaria pinnatifida extract, starfish coelomic fluid extract, propylene glycol, albizia julibrissin bark extract, citronellyl methylcrotonate, panthenol, hydroxyethyl acrylate/ sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, dimethicone/vinyl dimethicone copolymer, silica, isoceteth-10, oligopeptide-69, hydrogenated lecithin, sodium oleate, glycine soja oil, disodium EDTA, carrageenan, BHT, sodium hyaluronate, citric acid, phenoxyethanol, ethyl hexanediol, potassium sorbate, diazolidinyl urea, methylparaben, sodium sulfite, sodium metabisulfite.

ingredients list and description on the box
the packaging: it comes in white box with red label at front. ingredients list is printed on on side and on the other side there's description and direction in both english and indonesian. they secure the top of the box with seal sticker. this is the old version as the box is white with red label. the new version comes in black box and red label. the description at front is different as well. here it's only written age corrector serum with hyaluronic acid, whitening agent and antioxidant, while the new one has "peptides and soya phytoplacenta" at front. the serum itself comes in dark plastic bottle with the same label that has the same design as the box. it uses pump to dispense the product and cover the pump head with dark plastic cap as well. i think they use airless pump system, but correct me if i'm wrong. the serum comes in 20 ml which is slightly less than usual serum size (30 ml).

the scent: no added fragrance as you can see in the ingredients list, so if you're asking me, it smells rather foul. but i guess you'd be fine as long as you don't sniff it real close. for me, i personally like added subtle fragrance to give more experience while using skincare, but i do get that some people are sensitive to fragrance, so i think this would be a good option for those who has sensitive skin or have issues with fragrance.
the pump head
the product: the serum is milky white gel type serum. it's viscous but melts instantly when you spread it around. it sinks quite quickly too. there's no tackiness after it's being completely absorbed. i usually use two pumps for my whole face and neck, but sometimes i skip it when i use moisturizing sheet mask. there's no tackiness after it's absorbed. i use two pumps for my whole face and neck.

after blended it
the result: i have to say that i agree that this is a moisturizing serum. in long terms, it would help fight aging signs. but since i also use other skincare products that also claim to fight aging signs, i can't say that this serum works better than others. however, in the past, i've had some problems with skincare products that contain peptide. as i was testing this serum, plus using masks most of the time, i started to get breakouts again. even worse than before. so i decided to stop this for awhile and use the niacinamide twice a day. the breakouts lessened for a bit before popping out again. i decided to use this again but without adding emulsion as this is quite moisturizing and i think this time it will be okay.

i don't know why but maybe i need to sort my skincare products order to see the result better. i would try this again in the future. but for now, i think this serum might be messing with my maskne. i think this serum is not super rich and heavy that all skin types can use this. looking at the ingredients, this serum has a lot of good stuff, unfortunately, it doesn't work well with my skin condition right now. if you're curious about erha anti aging serum, you should get it. the price is quite reasonable, but wait until it's on sale since this serum is only 20 ml so the price per ml would be more expensive that usual serum. as for me, i will try to finish it then sort my skincare products order to fight my maskne first before trying something new.
i love sulwhasoo FCAS and that reminds me how i used to love FTE. so when i was about to finish my face wash, i decided to browse here and there and found out that erha had come out with a new essence that sounds just like a FTE. though they only label it as essence, they suggest to use it just like FTE. let's see how it goes.

this is the description from their web: a lightweight and easy to absorbed essence. with 10% galactomyces ferment filtrate that is rich of nutrition and antioxidant. helps moisten, shrinks pores, brighten and evens out skin tone. formulated with prebiotic, ingredients that nourish microbiota on skin that helps balance skin layers, reduce redness and increase skin health so skin looks healthier, brighter and younger.
benefits: increase product absorption into the skin, brighten and balanced skin tone, shrink and fade pores, increase skin moisture and hydration, maintain skin elasticity, strengthen skin barrier.
can be used for all skin types. for maximal result, use with other ERHA age corrector products.
main ingredients:
- 10% galactomyces ferment filtrate: fermented product that's rich of nutrition and antioxidant. helps moisten, shrinks pores, brighten and evens out skin tone.
- prebiotic: ingredients that nourish microbiota or probiotic on skin to balance the amount of normal flora in the skin layers, reduce redness and increase skin health.
- moisturizer (betaine, xylitol-glucose sugar complex): increase elasticity, moisten and increase skin hydration by correcting natural moisturizing factor and strengthen skin carrier.
- allantoin: skin protectant, protect skin surface from irritant exposure and soothe skin that is mildly irritated.
the box
description on the side
the packaging: it comes in a red/white box with description on it in indonesian and english. there's description at the back of the bottle as well both in english and indonesian as well as the ingredients list. the bottle itself is a transparent plastic bottle with screw cap. it has white/red label on it which is similar to the box. it comes in 100 ml but it seems small since the bottle is not that tall. what's surprised me is an extra cap on the opening. they put an extra cap on the stopper to make it extra secure.
ingredients list
the bottle
the scent: i didn't read anything about it before buying it. but just right after i pay for it, i read somewhere about the fragrance. and it's quite fragrant. at first, it was too fragrant for my nose, but after a few uses, my nose became accustomed with the scent. it's just as fragrant as the momopuri toner, but this one has floral scent.
description at the back
extra cap on the stopper
the product: the essence is just like other FTE. it's a watery type essence that is easily absorbed by your skin. it's transparent, it looks like water and feels like water. it feels like other FTE as well. even though this one only has 10% of galactomyces ferment filtrate, but they have added prebiotic and moisturizers (betaine, glycerin, BG) as well as allantoin to soothe the skin (usually FTE has 90% or more of fermented stuff).
how it looks like on my hand
after patted it in
the result: right from the start, i can feel the hydration boost that it gives. somehow it reminds me of the days when i used FTE regularly. it feels nice to give back the hydration that my skin needs after washing it off. it also a bit moisturizing. compared to other FTE that i've used before, i think the feeling is similar to missha. a bit less moisturizing than purito. as for brightening, i don't think this is brightening on its own. but i do agree that this helps nourish my skin. i've been getting several breakouts due to using mask regularly now (covid is getting worse here, so even though we're at home, i still put on my mask), but it heals quickly and the scars fade rather quickly as well.

if you like essences, then you should try it, especially if you don't mind the fragrant scent. it's hydrating and a bit moisturizing and i think it will be a good boost for all skin types. if they could tone down the scent a bit, it would be perfect. if i can't find anything else, i will definitely repurchase this one. you can get erha easily through their official website or marketplace, and from sociolla as well. price wise, it's still affordable especially when it's on sale.
a friend of mine got this toner for herself but she ended up disliking it. so she gave it to me instead since she knew i like to try all sorts of skincare stuff. i've tried the original momopuri toner (you can read it here), and know i got the moist version. let's see how it goes.

this is the description from their website: contains lactic acid bacteria and peach ceramide to be applied. plenty of moisturizing and dense skincare series for bare skin. with a combination of lactic acid bacteria and peach ceramide, you can apply it to your bare skin. a moist type dense lotion that moisturizes even more from the skincare series "momopuri" is now on sale! white turbid type that fully moisturizes. a moisturizing, dense lotion that moisturizes well. a cloudy type with a rich and dark feel, for plump and dense peach skin. for healthy skin every day. lactic acid bacteria: contains the lactic acid bacterium EC-12 strain that focuses on the indigenous bacteria on the skin. makes your skin elastic with lactic acid bacteria. peach ceramide: a skincare product that contains peach ceramide, a moisturizing beauty essence that is made in japan. tightening pores: bergamot fruit extract contains vitamin c derivatives/ hyaluronic acid/ vitamin a/e/peach leaf extract (all moisturizing ingredients).
ingredients list: aqua, glycerin, alcohol, butylene glycol, PEG-8, enterococcus faecalis, zea mays (corn) oil, ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, tocopherol, retinyl palmitate, sodium hyaluronate, phytosteryl glucoside/ glucosylceramide, betaine, citrus aurantium bergamia (bergamot) fruit extract, prunus persica (peach) leaf extract, styrene/VP copolymer, dipropylene glycol, isostearic acid, sodium oleate, xanthan gum, citric acid, sodium citrate, diglycerin, sucrose, polysorbate 20, lauryl betaine, polyglyceryl-5 laurate, disodium EDTA, sorbic acid, phenoxyethanol, sodium benzoate, methylparaben, fragrance (parfum).
the bottle
the packaging: since i got it from a friend, the bottle is already opened. but japan products usually have minimal packaging. the other lotion that i bought from momopuri only comes in a plastic bottle and they seal it with plastic sealing. i bet this one come in the same packaging as well. both lotion come in the same pinkish transparent plastic bottle with round pink flip top. there's a bit description as well as probably the ingredients list at the back but everything is in japanese. since both lotion come in the same packaging, make sure you read the name of the product at front. but you can differentiate them from the type of the toner. the original lotion or toner is transparent, while the concentrated one is milky white so the bottle looks a bit opaque because of the milky lotion inside. the lotion comes in 200 ml but it looks small because the bottle is slim and tall. if you're curious, they do sell refill pouch, but i don't know whether they sell it here in indonesia as well or not.
description at the back
the scent: it smells like peach. and yes, it has added fragrance. the scent is quite noticeable so if you have problem with scented product, you might want to avoid it. both lotion smells exactly the same if my memory serves me right. for me personally, i can still handle the scent.
the opening
the product: as i've mentioned before, this is a watery type toner, but it's not completely transparent like the original one. this one is milky white. but it only takes seconds to absorb. i don't feel tacky feeling afterward. if you're wondering the difference between the concentrated lotion and the original one, the concentrated one has glycerin as its second ingredients and put the dipropylene glycol a bit behind, while the original one put dipropylene glycol second and glycerin third. other things in the ingredients list are the same.
how it looks like on my hand
the result: it's been awhile since i used the original one, so i can't say for sure about the difference between the original and the concentrated one. all i can say that it gives a punch of hydration and moisture. it might not be as rich as the sulwhasoo toner. compare to sulwhasoo, it is still lightweight. but weirdly, my skin loves this as well.
after patting it
i have to say for a watery type toner, this gives a right balance of hydration and moisture. at first i was afraid that it might be too rich, but i was wrong. compared to sulwhasoo, this is more lightweight. sulwhasoo gives more moisture than hydration, but this one gives a bit more hydration than moisture. i think this toner can be used for all skin types, but maybe normal or combination skin will love it more. as long as you don't mind with the scent, then this might be a good option for you. but if you avoid fragrance, you might want to skip it. momopuri is now available at sociolla, so it's easy to get now. price wise, honestly i don't know. i also don't know how it would compare to the price in japan. as for me, local brands are releasing new toners, so i won't be buying another one after finishing this one.
i still have several hada labo foam refill pouch, but i decided to save it for later and buy something else for now. there are several local brands coming up with new face wash, so i want to try them. i actually wanted to try somethinc but it was sold out. let's save that one for later. for now, i bought less well known ones. and two of them were apparently manufactured at the same place, so let's see how it goes.

this is the description from their tokopedia page (translated it since the original is in bahasa): kleveru sea buckthorn cleansing gel is a face cleanser that's formulated for skin's natural pH (5,2-5,5). works by cleansing thoroughly with added superfruit sea buckthorn or more well known as seaberry that contains lots of vitamin. brighten the skin with natural antioxidant without making skin dry and dehydrated. moreover, it prepares skin for the next step so products absorbed better and works optimally.

5 in 1: 5 benefits in 1 product with supporting ingredients: cleansing (without SLS/SLES), antioxidant, skin brightening, soothing, calming and anti inflammation, moisturizing.
the tube
the packaging: it doesn't come with any box. they just secure the tube with plastic sealing. the cleansing gel comes in white plastic squeeze tube with orange accent. there's description at the back in bahasa as well as ingredients list. they use flip top and the opening is the usual size. but i think they should make the opening bigger, as it's a bit problem you'd see later. it comes in 100 ml.
description at the back
the scent: as you can see, it has no added fragrance, so it's scentless. but if you sniff it up close, there's a faint scent because of the ingredient.
the opening
the product: just like the name, it is a cleansing gel. it's quite thick. it's a transparent but there's a light orangish tint to it. anyway, i mention that it is thick. that's why it causes a bit problem with the bottle opening. i have to squeeze quite hard to get it out from the tube. i do wish it has slightly bigger opening so i can squeeze easier. i wet my hands and then rub it to make it foam a bit before put it on my face. it doesn't bubble much, but it still foams a bit. i can use it with my foreo as well. anyway, it takes more than the sulwhasoo one to make it bubble enough for my whole face, that's why i think 100 ml might gone fast.
how it looks on my foreo
the result: well, it does cleansing well, and afterward i can see my face is a bit brighten. i don't have any pH strip so i can't say anything about the pH claim. when washing it off, sometimes i feel there's a layer left behind, similar to cosrx low pH cleanser. but washing it off few seconds more get rid of that feeling. after pat it to dry, if i don't use anything as soon as possible, my face would dry. but not very tight, just usual dryness after washing your face.
this is how much it bubbles up with foreo
well, i have to say for the price, this works okay. it does cleansing well, and i can use it with my foreo. however, it still gives a bit drying feeling afterward. well, i just have to start my skincare routine quickly. if you're looking for a decent and affordable local cleansing gel, then you should try this one. as for me, it's acceptable but new things are coming out recently, so i won't make any decision soon.
several months ago, avoskin launched their "your skin bae" line. they released several types of toners and serums. i have to say the launch was pretty big for a local brand. at that time, if i remembered correctly, they released 3 toners and 5 serums and it was sold out almost immediately at their launch date. i had to find this one through online marketplace and it was the only one available. they added more toners and serums. however, they were slow to restock their product, so let see how this one goes before trying anything else from this line.

this is the description from their website: your skin bae comes with many variants that are equipped with a combination of active and natural ingredients. specially formulated for various skin problems. you can choose your skin bae product according to your skin problem. #BecauseAnyoneElseIsYou!
niacinamide 12% and centella asiatica - the combination of the two ingredients keep skin bright, hydrated, and free from acne and irritation problems. brightening and hydrating serum. the newest brightening and hydrating serum from avoskin with 12% niacinamide which functions optimally as a booster to brighten the skin, fade dark-spots, anti acne, anti aging, and has moisturizing skin. combined with centella asiatica extract as an anti-inflammatory agent which is also effective as a wound healing. the combination of the two ingredients keep skin bright, hydrated, and free from acne and irritation problems.
ingredients list: water, niacinamide, glycerin, butylene glycol, biosaccharide gum-1, hydroxyethyl cellulose, centella asiatica extract, phenoxyethanol, chlorphenesin, disodium EDTA, sodium bisulfite, 1,2-hexanediol.
the box
indonesian description and ingredients list
english description
the packaging: it comes in light yellow/orange box. they use different color for different serum type. there's description at the back of the box in indonesian and english as well. ingredients list also put on the box as well. they seal the top and bottom part of the box with sticker label to ensure that you receive a fresh and genuine product. the serum itself comes in transparent light yellow glass bottle with dropper to dispense the product. the dropper is okay, but you'll see why i don't like using dropper for this serum later. this comes in 30 ml which is standard size of serum.
sticker seal on the bottom
seal on top
the scent: as you can see from the ingredients list, this doesn't have added fragrance. that's why the serum is unscented. but since it has several ingredients which may have their natural scents, the serum smells a bit foul, but only if you sniff it up close. once you put it on your face, i don't think i can pick up the scent anymore.
the bottle
the dropper and serum inside it
the product: the serum is a transparent gel type serum. it's very thick so it's hard to pick it up using a dropper. i have to pinch the dropper for maybe around 5 seconds but then it would only give a drop of serum. i think pump would be better to dispense thicker serum like this. even though it's quite thick, but it melts into watery glow and i have to massage it quite a bit before it sinks in. i only use a drop for my whole face and neck. i use this in the morning as i'm testing a retinol serum at night as well. but you can use this day and night. the percentage of the niacinamide is 12%, which is the highest that i've tried so far. but they add glycerin and butylene glycol which are moisturizing agents and centella asiatica which is soothing. a little update, my skin has been acting out a bit, and i'm suspecting the anti aging serum that i'm trying is the culprit. so i decided to substitute it with this one so i'm using it twice a day now.
how it looks like on my hand
after patted it in
the result: when i used it only once a day, i don't notice any difference. somehow it doesn't help prevent breakouts nor reduce inflammation. however, when i started to use it twice a day, i started to notice the difference. all acnes reduce in size, even the cystic one. i don't get new acne anymore. well, at least for almost a week now. popped acne healed faster and the scar is starting to fade. it's moisturizing as well. even though i use it in combination with retinol (every other day), somehow it works well with the retinol.

i have to say this one is surprising. i don't know what to expect since it's been a long time since i tried TO niacinamide and the last niacinamide that i tried didn't give impressive result. i was worried that the higher concentration might not work with retinol, but i guess i'm wrong. they work well together. i start to notice difference in my skin texture, no more active acne and the scar starts to fade. i just wish they change the packaging so it's easier to dispense the product. if you're new to niacinamide, i think it would be a good choice, but if you're worried about the high concentration, there are other local brands that have niacinamide serum in their products line. but i don't think you should worry about the high concentration. it's well mixed and it's quite gentle, so i don't think it would be a problem. as for me, i think i'll put it in my list for now. no promise yet because local brands are releasing more and more new products. price wise, it's still affordable but avoskin really need to works on their supply. they are releasing new products but the old ones are sold out for a long time. do they only release it one time only?
the pandemic made me buy my first high end skincare products. sulwhasoo. i obviously has been interested in them for so long. but i never bought anything from them mainly because i think even though i bought some sample size, i wouldn't be able to buy it again in full size if they weren't on sale. anyway, i decided to get it at last because they were constantly having sales during special dates on marketplace. i bought two sets with separate GWPs, the bloomstay serum set and the FCAS set. i've tried the toner and the FCAS in plum blossom from the bloomstay serum set, so it's time for the cream.

this is the description from their website: a next level cushiony cream that helps visibly firm and impart hydration so skin looks refreshed and dewy. bring balance to skin while adding a dose of dewy moisture with this cushiony cream containing antioxidant-rich green plum blossom and yuzu extract. the formula draws hydration, enhances radiance, and visibly firms.
the star ingredients in this weightless gel-cream are antioxidant-rich green plum blossom and a nourishing blend of five fruit and seed extracts, including yuzu extract, that work synergistically together to seal in moisture, help even out skin tone, and deliver radiance.
ingredients list: water, butylene glycol, dimethicone, glycerin, squalane, pentaerythrityl tetraethylhexanoate, jojoba esters, cyclopentasiloxane, sucrose polystearate, polyglyceryl-10 stearate, sucrose stearate, 1,2- hexanediol, dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline, polysilicone-11, palmitic acid, stearic acid, niacinamide, acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, hydrogenated polyisobutene, polyacrylate-13, tromethamine, fragrance, polyisobutene, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, methoxy PEG-114/polyepsilon caprolactone, citrus junos fruit extract, ethylhexylglycerin, disodium EDTA, adenosine, honey, linalool, prunus mume fruit extract, sesamum indicum (sesame) seed extract, pinus koraiensis seed extract, chaenomeles sinensis fruit extract, rosa multiflora fruit extract, phenoxyethanol, polysorbate 20, sorbitan isostearate, lilium candidum bulb extract, nelumbo nucifera flower extract, rehmannia glutinosa root extract, polygonatum officinale rhizome/root extract, paeonia albiflora root extract, glycyrrhiza uralensis (licorice) root extract, poncirus trifoliata fruit extract, limonene, geraniol, benzyl benzoate, prunus mume flower extract, citronellol, arachidic acid, myristic acid, tocopherol, iron oxides (CI 77491)
the box
complete list at the back
the packaging: i bought this as a set so it comes in a pretty pink box, with products list at the back. all the products are placed on a plastic tray so everything came safe and sound. all the bottles in bloomstay lines are pink, soo prettyy... the cream itself comes in a small pink chubby pot with screw cap. it's like a miniature of the full size one. the sample only comes in 5 ml, which is very tiny.
all products in this set
the scent: all bloomstay lines has the same scent. they described it as plum blossom scent. well, i don't know what plum blossom is, but all i can say that the scent is quite fragrant but comforting and relaxing at the same time. i have a sensitive nose, but i like the scent very much.
the pot
how it looks inside
the product: just as described, it's a cushiony cream. bouncy to touch but quite thick. since they don't provide spatula and the opening is quite small, you have to use your own spatula to pick up the product. it's thick but still spreadable. honestly, looking at the ingredients list, i'm not a fan since it contains a bunch of extracts and the ingredients list is quite long. if you have reaction, you might not know which one that cause the reaction. anyway, several ingredients worth noticing are butylene glycol, glycerin, squalane that are moisturizing and niacinamide and licorice root extract that are brightening as well.
the cream on my hand
after patted it in
the result: it's quite thick but absorbed well. it contains dimethicone, that's why it gives the usual layer on top of your skin that you usually get with products with silicone. as for me, i don't have any problems with it, but if you have problems with silicone, you might want to skip this. that's why this cream even though it's rich, but somehow it gives a bit matte effect. a bit tacky feeling, but not annoying. i use this at night, but if you have drier skin, i guess you can use this in the morning as well. so far i only notice the moisturizing effect. as for radiance, i use niacinamide serum separately, so it might works synergistically with this cream. i can see that my acne scars are fading quickly since using this cream regularly.

i have to say this cream is a bit weird. it's rich but not as rich as blithe tundra chaga one. i think it's more suitable for combination or normal skin rather than dry skin type. i guess if you want to try sulwhasoo but you're afraid that it might be too rich for your skin, you should try the bloomstay line first. as for me, the after feeling is weird, so i don't think i would buy the full size.
if you read my blog since the beginning, you might find that i usually try things at drugstore prices. mostly because i believe drugstore-priced products are hidden gem. you don't have to pay a lot to get good stuff. however, it always my dream to try sulwhasoo products. i've tried their overnight vitalizing mask samples years ago and i liked it. since the pandemic started, some high brands have been putting their products on sale quite frequently. and the prices are getting more affordable, considering it comes in set or have lots of freebies. so i decided to get two sets. the bloomstay serum kit and the FCAS set. both comes with freebies. for the FCAS set, i got the basic kit as freebies. this eye cream is included in the basic kit. i remember i've tried some eye cream sample years ago, but i can't remember the complete name, so let's hope this one is different.

this is the description from the website: helps strengthen and revitalize the fragile skin around the eyes. an essential product to protect the delicate skin around the eyes. enzymes from korean red ginseng saponin effectively diminish the appearance of fine lines around the eyes, while honey keep the skin healthy. smoothly wraps the skin in moisture, leaving a silky finish. all-over moisture leaves the skin around the eyes softened, soothed, and refreshed.
ingredients list: water, butylene glycol, betaine, jojoba esters, glycerin, PEG-75, hydrogenated poly (C6-14 olefin), cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, biosaccharide gum-1, dimethicone, hydrogenated olive oil lauryl esters, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, camellia sinensis leaf extract, glycyrrhiza uralensis (licorice) root extract, paeonia albiflora root extract, nelumbo nucifera flower extract, polygonatum officinale rhizome/root extract, lilium candidum bulb extract, rehmannia glutinosa root extract, honey, hydrolyzed ginseng saponins (enzyme-treated red ginseng saponins), beta glucan, portulaca oleracea extract, ginkgo biloba leaf extract, c12-16 alcohols, methoxy PEG-114/polyepsilon caprolactone, behenyl alcohol, cyclopentasiloxane, cyclohexasiloxane, cetearyl alcohol, arachidyl glucoside, arachidyl alcohol, acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, palmitic acid, polyglyceryl-10 stearate, propanediol, PEG-40 stearate, hydrogenated lecithin, tromethamine, disodium EDTA, ethylhexylglycerin, phenoxyethanol, fragrance.

the packaging: since i got this as freebies in basic kit set, it comes in white-yellow box which is the usual signature color for their original line. in the set, you'd get FCAS EX 8 ml, essential balancing water EX 15 ml, essential balancing emulsion EX 15 ml, essential rejuvenating eye cream EX 3,5 ml, and concentrated ginseng renewing cream 5 ml. all the products are placed in a plastic tray so all products are safe and secure. the eye cream itself comes in a white plastic tube with yellow plastic cap. when you open the cap, you can see the tiny pump head. there's a bit description at the back in korean.
the eye cream
the pump head
the scent: it has sulwhasoo's signature scent, which some bloggers said as hanbang scent. the scent is stronger than the one in the snowise cleansing foam. you can also read in the ingredients list that this has added fragrance at the end of the list. so if you have sensitive nose or sensitive to fragrance, you might want to avoid it. i personally don't mind scented product, but not for eye cream. i think scentless eye cream is better.
how it looks like on my finger
after patting it
the product: it's a white cream. it's thicker than my previous eye serum, but it's understandable since this one is targeted for anti aging. i was worried that this one might be too rich for my eyes area since i contains some oils on top of other moisturizing agents like butylene glycol, betain, glycerin, and stuff. however, this also contains lots of extract. considering that i nowadays use products that is simpler in its ingredients, somehow i'm a little bit worried since this one has a bunch of stuff thrown in. if i have reaction with one of the ingredients, i might not know which one is it.
progress pic
if i could say, it helps brighten my under eye and smooth few lines
the result: this one is definitely moisturizing. after i spread it around, i immediately feel the added moisture that it gives. up until now i think this is the most moisturizing eye cream that i've tried. my eyes area has never this soft. and it doesn't cause milia. some eye cream might cause milia because it's too rich, but this one doesn't. honestly, since using this eye cream, i often sleep late. and i don't use my eye massager to truly document the eye cream on its own. as you can see in the picture, it brightens my under eyes area a bit, less puffy and smoothes few lines. i guess keep using this regularly would give better result.

i honestly quite surprised looking at the progress picture. i know for sure i don't sleep early and it took a toll on my eyes. sometimes i would wake up with puffy eyes. but looking at the picture i'm quite surprised i don't look like panda considering how minimal i sleep these days. and another thing, i still haven't finished the sample! so i guess if you want to make investment aside from FCAS, the eye cream is worth buying.
if you have read my post, i bought two set from sulwhasoo. the bloomstay line and the FCAS set. both came with GWP. there were products that are the same in the set or in the freebies, so i won't write about them twice. however, the full size FCAS and the freebies one is different in packaging, so i decided to write separate post about it.

this is the description from their website: first korean herbal medicine-based essence born from 24 years of research. 1-in-60,000 the world's first technology developed using a unique skin moisture barrier master key. an essential anti-aging first essence that boosts your skin's potential using the youth master technology to make your skin looking healthier every day. youth master technology developed by sulwhasoo as the world's first anti-aging skin moisture barrier technology of its kind. stronger and more radiant looking skin. fresh and soothing signature fragrance and texture. nutrient-rich resilience synergy serum duo.
ingredients: water, alcohol denat., butylene glycol, 1,2-hexanediol, bis-PEG-18 methyl ether dimethyl silane, glyceryl polymethacrylate, carbomer, PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil, tromethamine, propanediol, glyceryl caprylate, juglans regia (walnut) seed extract, dextrin, theobroma cacao (cocoa) extract, scutellaria baicalensis root extract, fragrance, ethylhexylglycerin, adenosine, limonene, methyl trimethicone, disodium EDTA, xanthan gum, cellulose gum, carrageenan, honey, madecassoside, rehmannia glutinosa root extract, pentylene glycol, ophiopogon japonicus root extract, paeonia lactiflora root extract, lilium candidum bulb extract, linalool, lycium chinense fruit extract, polygonatum odoratum rhizome extract, biosaccharide gum-1, propylene glycol, ziziphus jujuba fruit extract, nelumbo nucifera flower extract, pueraria lobata root extract, natto gum, glycyrrhiza uralensis (licorice) root extract, prunus mume fruit extract, citronellol, citral, geraniol, hydrogenated lecithin, BHT, citric acid, lentinus edodes extract, tocopherol, hydrolyzed soybean extract, paeonia albiflora root extract, zingiber officinale (ginger) root extract.

the packaging: the serum comes in a FCAS set. it comes in a yellow/white box with the picture of everything inside at the front. at the back there's a list of the products inside. on the side there's a bit description and ingredients list on some of the items in english and korea. the serum itself comes in separate box and it has another description on it. inside, the bottle is securely placed and there's a booklet about the FCAS in multiple languages. the full size serum comes in white glass bottle with see-through bottom. the bottle is quite heavy. even though i have other serums that comes in glass bottle, they didn't feel as heavy as this one. the pump head is gold and covered with plastic yellow cap. everything about the packaging screams luxury.

the scent: it has subtle hanbang scent which is sulwhasoo's signature. the eye cream's scent is stronger, which is weird since product for eye area might be better unscented since they're quite sensitive. and if you're wondering whether the scent is natural or added one, it's an added one since they clearly put fragrance in the middle of the ingredients list.

description at the back
the product: it's a golden brown gel type serum like brownish maple syrup. it has a slight gel texture that makes it a bit viscous, but once you spread it around, it melts easily to my skin. it takes seconds to be absorbed and doesn't leave tacky feeling. but i have to warn you this contains alcohol denat which may contribute with the fast absorbing, but if you're avoiding alcohol, you might want to try some sample first. if you never try this one, this is called first care activating serum because you're supposed to use this first after washing your face, more like FTE. you can experience using this after toner, but for me, i like to use this before toner as this is more lightweight than my toner.

the result: no wonder this is a best selling. it's fast absorbing but gives hydration that my skin needs after washing it. somehow it boosts the effect of the next product that i use afterward. with regular use, i can see my skin condition is improving. when i started trying sulwhasoo products, my skin has been acting up. i suffered from acnes and it didn't heal as quickly as it used to be. but after using sulwhasoo products especially the FCAS (and other things of course), my skin started to heal better. it looks more glowy after time and more supple.

totally recommend this one if you wanted to try sulwhasoo. i think this might be suitable for all skin type. definitely try this one first if you have the budget. they come in various sizes, from sample sizes to 30/60/ to even the giant ones, so make sure you wait for some sales and splurge. for me, if i have to pick which one i want to repurchase, definitely i'll be saving my money for the FCAS one.
