  • About me
i've heard about aliexpress but i never bought anything from them, mainly because i'm afraid that my order will be stuck in customs, especially since they put red-line situation, many online shops even struggle with this situation. but my sister in law bought some unicorn slipper from them and it arrived safely! then i asked my husband and he also have bought items from them too and arrived safely. so i decided to get some makeup brushes, especially after watching it from some youtuber. at first i wanted to buy jessup makeup, but the price is higher. perhaps because jessup is getting more attention since it's being reviewed more than MSQ. but i decided to get MSQ not only because it's cheaper, but it has more brushes that i usually use and want to try than the jessup one. i also waited the aliexpress sale so i got this set with the eye set in such incredibly cheap price. oh.. i was super glad that both arrived safely.

this is the description from aliexpress website: hair material - high quality synthetic and natural goat hair. ferrule material - glossy aluminium. handle material - natural wood. case material - high quality PU leather.
the pouch
the packaging: since i bought the one that comes in a makeup pouch, all the brushes are packed inside the makeup pouch, but they put everything and each brushes in plastic cover, so i'm quite impressed. all brushes arrived safely without any damage.
all the brushes in its plastic cover
the product and result: like i've said, each brush has each plastic cover. they also give the powder blush a plastic casing, similar to beauty creation, which is awesome. there are several set but i bought the 15 pieces one that has black wood handle with silver aluminium ferrule. i have to say it's pretty boring, there are so many other brand that has this combination, but what can i do? the rose gold and black one is more expensive that it comes with more brushes, more than i actually need, so i have to settle with this one. there are 5 face brushes and the rest are eye makeup brushes. all the face brushes has synthetic hair, but the eye makeup brushes has combination, synthetic and natural goat hair. again, i don't like the combination with the natural hair, mainly because i don't know how to care for them. my BH cosmetic brush that has natural hair bristles is hard to maintain, so that's why i decided to buy synthetic hair because it's easier to wash and maintain.

the pouch is made of PU synthetic leather, and it's black. the size is bigger than my beauty creations' pouch, and it's super soft and flimsy compared to beauty creations' one. some complained that it has awful smell, but mine doesn't.
all the face brushes
let's start talking about each brushes. i will talk about face brushes first and then the eye brushes. i've tried most of them, but i know there are brushes that i won't use, so i won't comment much on them.
- powder brush: this is the biggest one in the bunch. all the face brushes have long and firm handle, slightly longer than my beauty creations' brushes, which makes them easier and firmer to hold. the powder brush has plastic cover to maintain the shape. it's fluffy, but not as fluffy as beauty creations'. since it's a bit dense, if i use this to powder all over my face, sometimes it will pick a little bit too much of powder that it makes my under eyes or around my nose cakey. i think if you use bronzer, then this will be suitable for bronzing too.
powder brush
- blush brush: this brush has rounded top, which is new for me. i usually has angled blush brush. it's super soft just like the powder brush, but it's a bit too dense for my liking. i use this with my powder blush which is not too pigmented. if i have to use more pigmented powder blush, i will have to be careful. do only one dip and tap the excess before putting it on my face. but other than that it works super well.
blush brush
- angled blush brush: since there's a round blush brush, i use this brush for contour. this has similar feeling to beauty creations' angled blush brush. both are not as dense as elf angled blush brush, which makes them quite hard to use. it's quite flimsy so somehow i can't contour as precise as i want to be, but it's workable. but i'm not a patient person, so i decided not to use this brush and sometimes use it for my pigmented blush. i prefer my masami shouko brush to contour.
angled blush brush (it's dirty because i've tried it to contour before taking picture)
- flat top brush: i decided to go with MSQ partly because some youtubers said that they have good kabuki brush, and one of them is their flat top foundation brush. and i have to say it's quite good. the brush is soft and dense. but when i first get it, there are some hair that poke out from the surface, so i have to trim it to make it look nice. it blends foundation beautifully and doesn't leave streaky finish on me.
flat top brush
- highlight brush: okay, on the aliexpress web's picture, the brush seems a little bit taller. but when it arrived, it looked similar to beauty creations big blending brush, which i use to blend concealer. but it's not too dense so i can use just one size for highlighting and it works just well. it's soft as well.
highlight brush
now let's move on to eye brushes: there are total 10 eye brushes, and half of them are made of natural hair (goat hair).
all the eye brushes
- small blending brush: this is a round top blending brush, similar to beauty creations'. it's made of synthetic hair, very soft. you can use this to blend concealer for smaller area or to buff base color to your eyelid. i usually use this brush to put base color all over my lid.
small blending brush
- angled eyeshadow brush: again, this is made of syntethic hair, and very soft and also similar to beauty creations'. you can use this to put color on your crease, but i rarely use this.
angled eyeshadow brush
- angled eyebrow brush: this is a small angled eyebrow brush. a bit smaller and more dense compared to beauty creations'. this is made of synthetic hair. i don't use eyebrow wax or gel or powder that need separate brush, so i barely use this brush. but since it's a little bit smaller, it's more dense so i find it easier to use on my eyebrow.
angled eyebrow brush
- small dome eye brush: this is similar to my masami shouko dome eye brush (i forget whether it's the M or the S one) but this is a little bit longer. since this set doesn't have any pencil brush, i use this brush to pack darker color to my outer V. this is made of synthetic hair and it's very soft as well. compared to masami, it has same density, but since this is slightly longer, somehow it feels flimsier. but it doesn't affect the application.
small dome eye brush
- flat eyebrow brush: again, i almost never use this brush. this is also made of synthetic hair and quite wide so i don't think i can use it on my eyebrow. sometimes i use this to eyeline my under lashline with darker eyeshadow and it works well, but i don't use that everytime i do my makeup.
flat eyebrow brush
- angled bended eyeliner brush: this is made of natural hair. this has angled ferrule and the hair is super thin and covered with hard plastic cover. this is the brush that i never use. i don't have any gel eyeliner that comes in a pot, and all my eyeliner has brush tip that's super easy to use, so i don't easy myself using this brush. but if you have gel eyeliner and you hate the brush that it comes up with, then you might get the chance to use this brush.
angle bended eyeliner brush
- small blending eyeshadow: okay, this is super weird. when it first came, it looks like a small but skinny blending eyeshadow, but after i wash it, it looks a little bit shorter that it seems like a pencil brush. it's made of natural hair and it's super soft and super easy to use to blend my eyeshadow. since i use the dome brush to put darker color, i use this brush to highlight my under brow and my inner corner and it works okay, but i feel it's a little too big for my inner eyes. oh and although it does seem shrink after i wash it, but it still maintains its shape and doesn't shed.
small blending/ pencil brush
- flat fluffy eye shader brush: this is made of natural hair. it washes okay and doesn't shed as well. i use this brush to put color all over my lid and it works well. it's a little big so if you have small eyelid space, this might be too big for you.
fluffy eye shade brush
- there are two fluffy eye blending brush. on the web it seems to have different size, but on reality, it is the same size, so i use one to put color on my crease and then use the other one if i need a clean brush to tone down the color. although it's big, a slightly bigger than my beauty creations and elf, but a bit thinner than BH cosmetics so it's easier to use on my crease. and it doesn't poke my eyelid even though it's made of natural hair. although it's hard to maintain the shape after washing it, but it doesn't shed and using brush guard solve the problem, so i super like it.
eye blending brush
overall, i'm quite impressed, all the face brushes are super firm to hold, all the handles are long enough for firm grip, even slightly longer than my beauty creations' brushes. all the bristles are super soft and even though some hair poking out, none of them poke into my skin and hurt my skin. i only need to trim them a little bit. it washes well and maintain its shape pretty well too. i pay for around Rp. 175.000,- with the pouch when it was on sale so it's pretty good deal considering i pay more for beauty creations and get lesser brush. the only grudge that i have against this set is the smell from the natural hair brushes. it does smell awful, and although i've washed it twice, with brush detergent and baby shampoo, nothing is changed. it still smells like horse (or goat, maybe). oh well, maybe i just need to wash this more since other said that the smell will be gone after washing it. if you're planning to buy brushes from aliexpress and you're confused about what to buy, except for the well known jessup brush, then let me recommend you to try MSQ. i also think that this brand might have sold their previous brushes as zoeva fake brushes, but i can't say for sure since there's no more fake brushes sold at aliexpress. and if i can say more, i like their face brushes more than their eye brushes, but that doesn't mean that their eye brushes aren't good. so, be adventurous and check it out yourself.
this is the last emulsion that i bought from japan. when i went to japan the second time, i decided not to buy hada labo, and i was interested more in sana mainly because not many people have tried this stuff, especially other things aside from the original line. so i did a little homework and decided to try some products from haritsuya line and the retinol one. and if you've read my other post about the sana nameraka honpo emulsion, then you'd probably knew that the emulsion is okay, but a little bit too rich for my taste. that's why i'm getting anxious in trying this one because this has added q10 and targeted to add elasticity or anti-aging.

this is the description from tokiwayakuhin website: emulsion containing fermented soybean milk and encapsulated coenzyme q10. with a rich sensation, it leads the way to elastic skin.
added description from redmart website: change your milk to haritsuya milk lotion today for healthy, firm and radiant looking skin. skin lotion that deeply moisturizes skin. skin feels resilient and supple with double condensed soymilk isoflavone and double condensed encapsulated coenzyme q10 technology. combined of soybean extract and soybean isoflavone combined for extra hydration.
the initial packaging (with the sealing and sticker)

the packaging: it comes in regular flip top bottle. all sana products are categorized into several line and each has different color. for haritsuya line, all of the products are packaged in the pink bottle with black cap. same as this emulsion. in fact, it looks the same as the lotion, only smaller, so you have to do your homework before buying it. the label at the back is all in japanese.iii
the bottle
the scent: it has the same subtle soymilk scent similar to the original line. but sometimes i think it's scentless. anyway, you get the point. it's soooo subtle that you can barely smell it.
description at the back
the product: it looks similar to the original emulsion. it's a white gel/cream-like emulsion. not too runny unlike the original version, but it spreads as easily as the original one and absorbed easily too. although it leaves more sticky feeling afterward and it does feel richer than the original version. i've read somewhere that this line is suitable for every skin type, but if you have oily skin, then you will only need a tiny bit. i use this emulsion less than the amount i used from the original version.
the flip top bottle
the result: this definitely more moisturizing than the original emulsion, and sometimes it feels a little bit too rich for my skin. but, i'm using retinol and niacinamide. both has effect on my sebum production, so somehow it messes the combination with the emulsion. the emulsion seems to add moisture and not hydration that my skin needs. on super hot days, i will still see my nose is greasy after a couple of hours. when i put makeup, even when i've put primer on my nose, the foundation on my nose will slid and vanish in about 3-4 hours. but i can still see the side of my nose flaking because of the retinol.
the emulsion on my hand

after blending it in
honestly, i won't repurchase it again. not because it's a bad product, but it isn't what my skin needs. right now my skin is a little bit dehydrated and this one is adding oil instead of water in my skin. even though i've been using a tiny amount of product, it's still feel a little bit too rich on me. i've been using this in the morning, but lately i've been combining it at night too since the night cream that i tried is a gel cream and it doesn't feel occlusive enough for night time. probably i will switch it too if the night cream doesn't moisturize my skin enough. but, i think this emulsion will be more suitable for a more mature skin, dry skin or those who has winter. but if you're a curious person like me, then you should grab it because it's very affordable.
i didn't know what drive me the other day. i was supposed to get the concealer. but somehow, it becomes my habit that i barely bought only one item, so i decided to grab another item. i was thinking about buying their foundation, but some people said that it oxydies badly. so i decided to hold back on the foundation, hoping my husband could get the essence one (turned out he couldn't.. so i ended up buying foundation from catrice). then i decided to get the primer. i think it will a good buy considering if i had to do my own makeup on my sister's wedding, then i will obviously need a primer. i don't use a primer on daily basis, but i will try to use it up.

the description from their website: minimizes unwanted shine, visibly refines the pores. makes foundation last longer, vegan. the ideal preparation for shine-free looks. the pore refining and anti-shine base minimizes unwanted shine and visibly refines your pores. the ultra-light formula also improves the durability of foundation. a true beauty perfectionist. dermatologically tested.
the tube
the packaging: every catrice items come in a simple packaging, no box whatsoever, perhaps because that's where they cut the cost. so, the primer comes in a plain slim white plastic tube with black screw cap. at the back there's description and ingredients list all in english. since the tube is slim, it's travel friendly. they seal the product using plastic seal surrounding the tube body and the aluminium foil seal covering the whole inside.
the back of the tube
the scent: i don't think i can pick up any scent, or if there's any, it's probably very subtle.
the spout
the product: it's a white gel-cream-alike. i'm kind of surprised that it's a white gel/cream, considering it's a pore refining primer, i thought it would be more silicone-y or something. but don't worry about the white part though. once you spread it all over your face or wherever you want it to, it becomes clear. a little bit sticky before it all dries down.
sealing on the opening
the result: the pore blurring effect isn't as visible as maybelline pore eraser, but the anti-shine effect works okay. it holds my sebum production just fine and make my foundation looks flawless even on hot days like these. but recently i did some experiment in changing my skincare before using this primer. if i use niacinamide and sunscreen, the primer works well in preventing the sebum production. but, if i don't use niacinamide, the foundation on the sides of my nose will start to melt on super hot days like these days after about 4-5 hours.
the primer on my hand
honestly, since i don't use primer on daily basis, i can't say anything about the possibility of it clogging the pores. but all i can say that it can hold the sebum production really good. but if you have super oily skin, this might not work on long hours especially if you live in hot and humid country. but if you have normal skin, then this might work okay. as for me, i only bought this because i probably need one in my sister's upcoming wedding, so perhaps i won't repurchase it since i don't use primer on daily basis. from price point, this won't hurt your wallet since it's very affordable.
after blending it in

result on my pores
you can see it's slightly blurring my pores, but not much
i think this is the last version from kose cosmeport babyish sheet mask that i have in my stash. i bought the pink and the yellow one and my sister gave me the white one. i believe this is similar to lululun, since it comes in pack, but the rest of it, i don't know. i have to say that the other two feels similar and give similar result too, so i have no favorites yet, so let's see about this one.

this is the description from kose cosmeport website: brings resilient baby-like skin with carefully selected formula intended for users in their 20s. controls of the acne-prone, easily changing condition of the skin is the first step to baby-like skin. safe delivery of hydration deep into your skin with daily care. the highly moisturizing lustrous: formula with collagen, honey GL, hyaluronic acid, amino acid, glycerin (moisturizer). uses plump, thick sheets made of soft japanese cotton. high density woven cotton is easy to unfold and fits well to the differences in the face.

the packaging
the packaging: just like the other variation, this comes in a double zip bag with all the masks cramped inside. there's description at the back but everything is in japanese. st front there's a baby face picture to remind you the soft and supple skin that you (is promised) will get by using this mask. the only difference is the color of the border. this mask has yellow border while the other two have white and pink border.
left: before
middle: mask on
right: after one use
the scent: i believe this has super subtle wet tissue scent.. or not. but don't worry since it's super subtle.
left: before
middle: mask on
right: after 7 uses
the product: the mask is exactly like the mask from the other type. it's made of soft cotton and adheres well to my face. it's a little bit thicker from lululun's. but what annoys me is the fit. it has too many slits for my liking that i have difficulty adjusting the mask. sometimes it takes me long enough that i thought it's half-dried already when i finally adjust it well on my face. it has wider temple part that i have to fold so it doesn't cover my hair. and it has weird chin slit that's useless in my opinion and slightly narrower jaw part. sometimes i wish it doesn't have slit like lululun so i can put it faster on my face.

left: after one use
right: after 7 uses
the result: this is the type of mask that you only put for about 10-15 minutes so i put it on for about 15 minute before taking it off. the center will still a little wet but the side is dried already. honestly, although this is the highly moisturizing one, i don't feel the difference with other mask. in fact i like the pink one better even though i use this mask almost 7 days straight.

i do think this type of mask is good to reinforce mask using since this is a lightweight sheet mask that's intended to use everyday. it will give moderate hydration with a little bit brightening effect but nothing special. this type of mask will suitable for everyone and great for gifts especially for those who's concern about waste from sheet masking. but if you're used to taiwanese sheet mask that's super thin and has lots of essence and give a great result in one try, then you won't like this mask.  as for me, i won't buy this one again mainly because japan has so much to offer.
i didn't realize that i was running low on my mamonde rose toner because i moved the toner to a spray bottle. when i realized that i've already moved all the toner to the spray bottle, i frantically looking up online for what to buy next. then i remembered seeing a lot of pyunkang yul so i decided to look into it. i found out that there are two toners in their line of products, and honestly i'm quite confused which one to choose. then i read carefully about both of them and i decided to get the mist toner. again, i found out that there are two sizes, but unfortunately, my usual online shop was running out of the big size so i have to be content with the small size.

this is the description from ohlolly.com: a cooling, incredibly hydrating and convenient misting toner made up of 91,9% coptis japonica root extract, a powerful antioxidant known for its anti-inflammatory, energizing and nourishing properties, pyunkang yul mist toner quickly absorbs to hydrate and refresh skin. perfect as a toner in your regular skincare routine or as a mist anytime throughout the day (goes over makeup flawlessly). made with only necessary ingredients, pyunkang yul is always free of artificial fragrances, dyes or irritants. best if you easily get warm and sweaty, your skin tends to be shiny and oily, you have enlarged pores and are prone to breakouts related to excess sebum.

now, a little bit of pyunkang yul. it has been on trend, probably as well-known as the ordinary in the korean world. it's developed by an oriental clinic in korea an all the products are simply made with simple ingredients. it even said that pyunkang yul dares to abandon trendy ingredients. doesn't it sound similar to the ordinary? well, if i have to say, this might be the eastern version of the ordinary.

the mist toner bottle
the packaging: mine comes only in plastic packaging without box. at first i thought the online shop must've left it, but then i read that the smaller size doesn't come in a box. oh well, i'm used to japanese products that has minimal packaging so i'm not bothered with it. the bottle is a plastic blue bottle with spray head and transparent plastic cap on top of the spray head. there's very simple label on it. it does contain the description as well as ingredients list both in korean and english. the spray is weird, it has two holes, so one is spraying upward and the other is spraying the other way, so i'm a little bit annoyed about that.

the mist spray head
the scent: i have to say that this is the first korean scentless product that i've tried. okay, perhaps not entirely scentless, it might have super subtle scents due to the ingredients inside, but it doesn't have added fragrance to it, so yay for sensitive skin.

the toner on my hand
the product: it's liquid just like water. it's absorbed easily because it's very liquidy, and it doesn't leave any sticky feeling after being completely absorbed.

after pat it in
the result: okay, i have to say that i read some weird things about this toner and i experienced it. some say that this toner doesn't hydrate dehydrated skin and even somehow make it more dehydrated. no matter how many layers they use, it still doesn't enough. and i experienced it too at first. i spray a couple times and pat it then wait and apply another layer. and i do experience the dryness that others mentioned. but then i became impatient, having to wait for it to dry, so instead of apply it in layers, i spray in bulk as change. i spray it multiple times and then i just pat it in. and it somehow works for me. but if you compare this to other hydrating toner, especially hada labo, then this might fall short.

so, you probably can guess that i don't quite into this product. i don't know why people are so hype about this product. but i wouldn't judge this brand based only on this product. i will try to give this brand another chance, but it won't be anytime soon since i'm currently testing some ordinary serum and i usually finish a product before testing a new one. if i have to say, i will have to agree that this mist toner will be more suitable for those who have combination to oily skin as this is a lightweight toner and doesn't leave sticky feeling, gives light hydration. but if you have dry skin, then you won't like this toner, except if you used this in 7 skin method. as for me, i won't repurchase as i found there are other light hydrating toner that's more affordable than this one.
i believe this is the last freeman beauty masks sachet that i tried. as someone who has combination to oily skin, mud or clay mask works well for me. but the price of my usual innisfree clay mask or the face shop clay mousse mask is getting up every time i repurchase it, and i don't like it. then i found freeman. i've decided to buy all the travel-size sachet that i could find before deciding which one to buy instead of those korean clay masks. and i decided to pick their one and only sleeping mask, just for the sake of comparison with the usual korean sleeping mask.

this is the description from pharmapacks website: our overnight sleeping mask with antioxidant-rich honeydew and calming chamomile is just the thing for rejuvenating skin. deep moisturizing coconut oil helps make rough skin a thing of the past. rinse upon waking to help reveal well-rested skin that's ready to face the day! perfect for dehydrated skin. no parabens.

the packaging: it comes in an irregular shape sachet, just like the rest of the travel-size sample that i bought. and it has the same design and color as the full size tube. for this sleeping mask, it's light green with the picture of chamomile and honeydew as its main ingredients. at the back there's the description in english as well as ingredients list.

the packaging
the scent: i love freeman masks because each of them has distinctive scent and all of them are refreshing, not too overwhelming. at least not for me, but if you're sensitive to scent, you should put that in mind before trying it. and this sleeping mask is no exception. it has this fresh scent, if i could describe it, i think it's combination of melon and coconut scent. it has that sweet fresh fruity scent. smells like summer.

the product: the consistency of the mask surprises me. i've tried a couple of sleeping mask, and this one is the lightest of all. it has this creamy, porridge like consistency. it's snow white that i thought it looks like coconut porridge. i think if you blend coconut flesh, then you will get the mask consistency. it's easy to spread and sunk in quickly too.

the sleeping mask
the result: it doesn't leave sticky feeling and the next morning when i wash my face, i don't feel anything at all. usually when i use sleeping mask, i could feel a moisturizing film covering my face when i wash it the next day. but that doesn't happen with this mask. as for moisturizing, it does moisturizing, but compared to my current night cream, it doesn't feel as moisturizing as my night cream.

i have to say that korean sleeping mask is better, judging from this mask only. this feels like regular moisturizer for me. it's not even as thick as my night cream. so i think it will more suitable for people who has combination to oily skin. but if you have dry skin, this sleeping mask might fall short on you. but this one is very affordable, so if you're like me, very curious of lots of stuff, then go for it. and if you like scented mask, then you should try it. especially if you're longing for summer.. as for me, i won't purchase the full size tube.
as i've mentioned in other post, when i was in japan, i decided not to buy other lululun masks as i've tried all the variants and they were okay in my opinion. but then, lululun release their new plus line, which consists of two categories, the aroma one and non aroma one. on my last visit, i only managed to get the non aroma one, and i've tried other variants and i like the plus variants better than the original one, so i'm glad i bought more. this time i'm trying the homeo age one.

the description from usa website: homeo age from the most beautiful sea. french iloise sea is said to be one of the most beautiful seas in the world. homeo age is an extract from seaweed taken at the bottom of the iloise sea (ascofilm nodsum). abundant with vitamin C. our vitamin C is from bright red camu camu fruit raised in the harsh environment of the amazon. it is said to contain the most vitamin C among all plants present on the earth. camu camu extract is rich in vitamin C, citric acid and the vitamin B group and includes vital minerals to give tired and aging skin a refreshed and smooth appearance. spring care with blue elastin. elasting is a key component of human skin. blue elastin extracted from tuna is mixed in lululun plus homeo age to rapidly moisturize the skin for a smooth and youthful appearance.

the packaging: i bought a box of 5 and the box has the same design as the individual packaging. it's color-coordinated according to the mask type too. for homeo age, it's blue and there's a picture of some kind of seaweed at front, probably because homeo age is made from seaweed. there's description at the back in japanese, as always.
the packaging
the scent: sometimes i think it's non scented, but when i sniff pretty hard, i can smell the usual wet tissue scent from the mask.

the product: the mask is made of soft cotton, thicker than the original lululun mask, but as thick as any korean regular mask. it has no slit, but it works just fine for me. it has long nose slit but weird wide nose bridge that poke my tear ducts. the mask also adheres well before i took it off. the essence is a clear runny essence and there's no excess.

the result: i put it on for about 30 minutes and after it i can feel my skin is super moisturized. it also brightens my face a little bit and my pores appear smaller. again, the effect is temporary, but it holds until the next morning.

right: after
again, i like the lululun plus better than the original lululun masks. but still, it doesn't feel as special as taiwanese mask. however, this lululun plus is similar to ordinary korean masks, so for you who enjoy korean masks, you will find lululun plus more enjoyable than the ordinary lululun mask. as this mask is not too moisturizing, i think most skin type can enjoy this. but this is also a downside. this mask is marketed toward anti aging, and most of anti aging products that i've tried are super moisturizing or heavy in texture, and none of those properties found in this mask. again, since i'm not using this mask consecutively, i can't say anything about the anti-aging property. so, if you're in japan or you can get this mask by ordering online, i suggest you buy the lululun plus instead of the original lululun mask.
before i went to japan, i've heard that minon is quite a well-known brand, but for its emulsion, and i don't think it will suit me. so when i was there, i decided to try their mask sheet. i think mask sheet is a safer bet to try the brand.

this is the description from watson singapore's website: minon moist essential mask contains 9 types of hydrating amino acids + 2 types of clarifying amino acids (lysine hcl, carnosine). generously soaked in unique gel serum that penetrates into skin to provide extreme intensive moisture, leaving skin soft, supple and infused with moisture. this sheet mask reduces the appearance of fine lines caused by dryness (efficacy evaluation test performed). moisturizing ingredients help to support barrier function, helping skin retain moisture more effectively. made from a soft, form-fitting sheet with fibers that adhere closely to your skin without dripping. a formula developed by a pharmaceutical company for sensitive/dry skin based on dermatological science, which has passed stringent chemical and safety tests to protect skin from sensitivity. fragrance-free, colorant free. weakly acidic to suit natural pH of the skin. alcohol free, paraben free. allergy tested, patch tested, stinging test conducted, tested for continuous use on sensitive/dry skin, low stimulus.

the packaging: i bought the box of 4, and the box has the same design as the individual packets. it has this pink background with "minon amino moist" written on front while the rest of the text is in japanese. at the back there's an instructional picture that show how to unfold and use the mask, but all the text is in japanese.

the individual packaging
the scent: i don't know why, but the mask smells like medicated mask to me, but don't worry, it's not that strong.

the excess jelly essence
the product: the mask is made of mesh-like cotton drenched in jelly-like essence. honestly, i never tried any other mask like this. somehow i feel like i'm putting wet gauze on my face. there's some excess jelly in the sachet, but since it's pretty thick, i can't use it to soak a tablet mask. the fit is a little bit off. the forehead is too tall for me, but the eye holes are okay, and the nose flap is long which is a yay since it can covers my whole nose. the side is too big that it can cover my lower jaw and also a big mouth hole which i have to drag it up so it can cover my chin better. there are slits to help me adjusting the mask.
left: before
middle: mask on me
right: after
the result: after 20 minutes or so, i feel the mask is tightening on me. since i can't use the remaining jelly to soak a tablet mask, i slap it on my forehead and cheeks, and after 20 minutes, only my forehead is a little bit damp while the rest is starting to dry out already. after taking it off my face, i massage the rest of the essence. it definitely moisturizes my skin and has a bit of brightening and calming effect too.

honestly, i don't like the mask because of the fit. it's too big for my face and i don't like wasting my time adjusting the mask since it also makes it dry faster too. but it works well, so i think everyone could try it especially for sensitive skin since it is not scented and formulated for sensitive skin. as for me, i don't think i'll repurchase once i've finished with all four.
