  • About me
if you have read my other post, you'd probably knew that i bought several mask set during my holiday in singapore. i like the idea of mask set since i get to try several masks with cheaper price. it gives me the idea whether or not to purchase the full size version. at first i wanted to buy the origins set, but i couldn't find it so i bought the pixi one first. and i'm kind of regret my decision since the size is so small. but everyone seems to love pixi, so i thought it doesn't hurt to try it. i've tried the other two, and this is the last one that i try.

this is the description from their website: this 3-in-1, oil free, quick absorbing formula instantly moisturizes and brightens and is great as a revitalizing mask as well as a primer to prep skin for perfect makeup application.
this radiance-boosting balm is the ultimate pick-me-up for tired, lackluster skin helping with signs of fatigue in a flash. suited for all skin types. not tested on animals. paraben free.
to use as a treatment primer, apply a thin layer to face and neck after cleansing. to use as a mask, apply a thick layer and leave on for 5 minutes 2-3 times a week.
the box
the packaging: since i bought this in a set, it comes in a cardboard box with a plastic slider where all three masks are placed inside. at the back of the box you can read the description for each masks. on the side, there's ingredients list for all the masks. the mask itself looks exactly as its full size version. for this rose balm, it comes in a plastic pink squeeze tube with green screw cap. there's a bit of description at the back of the tube. it has same weight as the other mask, which is 15 ml. and the full size is only 45 ml! now i wonder why they say pixi is an affordable brand as the sizing is small!
the description behind the box
the scent: it smells like fragrant rose, similar to my old crabtree & evelyn rose bath products. it's quite fragrant, but it doesn't make me dizzy. but if you have very sensitive nose, then you should try sample.
all the masks on a slider

ingredients list
the product: the balm is more like a pinkish white cream. it's as thick as my night cream, but i think it feels a bit like gel texture. it spreads easily, but i have difficulty to spread it out thickly as instructed when it's used as mask. i never tried it as makeup primer so i will only review it as hydrating mask.
the tube
the sealing inside
the result: it seems to waste it if i put it for 5 minutes, so i stretch the wear time to 10 minutes before washing it off. first thing, it's difficult to wash this off using bare hands because of the texture. it's thick and slippery so using washcloth is probably the best option to wash this off. after that, i can feel my skin is moisturized but just so-so, it's not mind blowing or anything. it does brighten my skin though.

that being said, i don't think i will repurchase the full size. it's a standard hydrating mask and i think my body shop rose mask works just as well. i will compare them both soon, so wait for the comparison post. as for recommendation, i think if you have super dry skin, i don't think it's super moisturizing enough. but if you have normal to combination skin, it might works well for you. you should buy it if you have money to splurge, you love rose-scented product, or you love everything pixi. but if you don't, then there are other option out there. for me, it's not a must have item.
who doesn't love daiso? it's a great 100 yen store that has almost everything! i love daiso. they have various range of products, from skincare, to houseware, to gardening tools to kids DIY stuff and stationary. i've tried their toner and their serum, not all of them are great, but they make some good budget skincare products. and especially they have a bunch of sheet mask tablet. i've tried one type before, and now i'm trying another types.

obviously, there's no description from anywhere because the thing doesn't have exact name to search online, but this is what's written at the back of the packaging: pack the face with lotions you are using. tray for lotion included.

the packaging: this comes in pink plastic bag with transparent window at front so you can see that there's a big circle tray to put the toner in and another box covered in transparent plastic cover that has all the 10 dry tablet masks inside. at the back there's descriptions and instructions in english and japanese and some pictorial on how to use the dry tablet mask.
the packaging and the tray on the plastic slider
the product: the difference with the last type that i bought is this one has a tray on the plastic slide. so you can pour your toner/lotion (the japanese called their toner a "lotion") and put the tablet mask inside and wait for it to grow bigger. the dry tablet looks the same as the other version, but when i put the toner, it doesn't get bigger as easily as the other one. and then, i have some difficulty unfolding it. apparently, this one is a rolling type. so once it gets big, you unrolled to unfold it. and this one requires very watery toner to soak the tablet or you can have dry spots and failure to completely unrolled the dry tablet. and the mask also need more toner than the previous version. the fit is annoying as well. it has short forehead, wider cheek, short nose flap, weird under eyes flap and also short jaw part. i have to pull until the jaw part come to my jaw, so it leaves bigger mouth hole. oh well. i think the other mask fit is not as annoying as this, but both doesn't have the most comfortable fit. the mask also feels as papery as the other one.
left: the mask getting bigger after being soaked
right: the awfully-fit mask on me
the result: if you need a quick mask session with just watery toner, or any left essence, then this will do. but if you bought this solely to use as mask with hydrating toner, you might regret your decision because the material of the mask is not soft, it feels a bit papery no matter how much toner you put into. i've tried soaking it after putting it on my face by spraying more toner, and it does hydrate the mask a bit, but it gets dry easily. i never use this more than 10 minutes.

compared to the other daiso mask tablet, i don't like this one. i do like that it has tray in its packaging, but the mask material is a bit different. it's harder to soak the tablet completely and it requires more toner, and it doesn't stay moist as long as the other one. if you don't have jumbo hydrating toner to finish, then don't bother buying this. i do have other type of daiso tablet mask, so i will try to finish this one quickly and move on to other type. as for this one, i definitely won't repurchase.
i've been using cure natural aqua gel for maybe about two years since my husband bought me in bottles when he went to japan. although it works well, i get bored after a while. so when i knew that i was going to japan, i decided to look for alternative. i choose the rosette one. it has two type, the blue one is original, and the red one is moist type. i had hard time deciding which one to get, but i decided to get the original one.

this is the description from redmart website: fruit acid effective in removing dead skin cells and other grime that is holding back your skin's natural beauty from shining through. thoroughly removes dead skin cells with 3 kinds of fruit acid - lactic acid, citric acid and malic acid. this massage gel sticks to old cuticle, balls up dead skin cells (dull spots) and lifts it off the skin naturally. soft gel formula is gentle on skin and restores skin back to its health. after peeling, skin feels smooth and flawless making it easier for makeup application. recommended usage: 2-3 times a week. also suitable for other parts of the body like elbow, knee, heel and decollete.
the tube
the packaging: it comes in a white plastic tube with blue flip top. there's only plastic sealing on the outside and nothing else inside. i always relieved all my japan products didn't burst out inside my baggage since most of the don't have inner sealing whatsoever. there's description at the back in japanese. the opening is similar to face wash opening and i can squirt the product according to my need without any problem.
back of the tube
the scent: at first i think it has foul scent, but lately i notice that it has acidic scent. and i confirmed it when i read it on ratzillacosme website. it's said to have fruity acidic scent. let me tell you it's quite strong for a few second at first. i get accustomed to it after a while, but if you don't like scented product, then cure is a better option for you.
the flip top
the product: it's a milky white gel that has same consistency as cure. spread easily, but takes a bit more rubbing to make it balls up. at first i thought it won't ball up, but it balls up after a few second massaging it. the size though.. this is only 120 ml while the cure one is 250 ml. but it gets bad really quick, you have to use the cure one in 6 months, so i think smaller size is more manageable.
peeling gel on my hand
the result: i can say that it works just as well as the cure. i can see my skin is brightened after using this, which usually means that all the dead skin is sloughed off. although this is the original version, i don't think it dries out my skin.
the peeling process
i think this is a good alternative for cure natural aqua gel. it's affordable, easy to find, and works just as well. but if you're sensitive with scent, you might not like this. if you have dry skin and worry that this might be drying for your skin, they have the moist version which comes in red cap. as for me, i think i will try the moist one if i could, and then decide which one works better.
if you've read my other post, you might have known that i asked my husband to buy me some essence mascara when he was away to europe last year. he managed to get the orange and purple one. too bad he couldn't find the green one as the green one is more popular than the other two. oh well, i like the orange one, so let's see about this one.

this is the description from their website: royal treatment! the tapered brush sculpts individual lashes for a defined look with dramatic volume.

the packaging: honestly i forgot whether or not they have plastic sealing on the outer body. all i know that all lash princess mascaras come in black plastic tube that has guitar-shaped body (probably to portray a princess' body?) with ornament on the screw cap. the color is different according the type. the orange one is the volume mascara and the purple one is sculpted volume. there's a bit description on the body.
the packaging
the color: there's only one color for each type and i believe it's black.
description on the body
the product: although it has similar packaging, the wand is different. this one is curvy and slightly tapered at the end and has more bushy bristles. both brushes are too big for my lashes, but i can manage with the orange one. unfortunately, this one is tapered so it has bigger bristles at the bottom and i have difficulty using it for my lower lash. somehow it smudges easily because the brush is too  big. the formula is a bit wet at first, but not as wet as japan's mascara. and i have to say it gets dried easily. so i think once you open it, you might use it until you finish it or it will get dried up.
the brush
the result: again, you have to remove all the excess or it will get clumpy in no time. the tapered one is great for volumizing and lengthening my lashes. especially the volume. this is more volumizing compared to the orange one. but it doesn't curl as good as the orange one, but it managed to hold the curl as good as the orange one. as i've said, i like this for my upper lashes only. it doesn't smudge or flake after 4-5 hours (i don't use makeup that long, but even on hot days, this mascara doesn't melt)

left: before
right: after
you can definitely see it lengthen and curl and volumizing my lashes
i have to say this is another good mascara for volumizing and lengthening, but it's not as separating and curling as the orange one. if you have short lashes, you might have difficulty using this on your lower lashes. if you like volume mascara, this might be a good option as it gives more dramatic volume than the orange one. but you have to be careful because it gets clumpy easily. as for me, i like the orange one better, but i still want to try the green one as that one seems to be everyone's favorite. do you have favorite essence mascara? let me know in the comment..
i know i shouldn't buy more lip products, but somehow i get bored with my liquid lipstick. i was buying them because they're transferproof, and since i was having a baby, it was a safe choice for me. but now, as the kids are growing up, somehow i get tired of using liquid matte lipstick. i feel my lips are starting to dried up faster when i'm using them. and somehow i miss the glossy lip look. but apparently, here, the matte trend is still going strong. i don't see many brand come up with glossy lip products. so when husband was away to singapore, i knew there's an essence booth at the airport and i told him to get me some of their vinylicious lipstick. i thought they're discontinued since no one's talking about them. even i only saw the mad about matte on their global website, which is the matte version from this vinylicious. oh well, let's see how they works.

this is the description from their european website: these liquid lipsticks offer high colour pigmentation and a breathtaking glossy finish reminiscent of melted latex. thanks to the high pigmentation and liquid texture, the lipstick glides over the lips and offers perfect coverage with just one application. available in a cool tube design and a varied colour range.
the tube
the packaging: it comes in colorful plastic tube with black screw cap. from the outside, you'd think that it's a squeeze tube, like catrice one. but it has wand in it. there's doe foot applicator to apply the product, which is quite strange with the tube packaging. on the side, you can read the description as well as the shade name. it's quite confusing they put the shade name on the side, since it's quite small. i wish they put the shade name somewhere else in bigger text. especially if you're buying similar shade color, it's a pain to find out which one is which. the applicator is quite funny as well. it has this figure-8 shape which is unusual since most lipstick products use regular doe foot, or perhaps slightly curvier. but this one is funny. but it works okay. it picks up just the right amount of product. i don't have problem using this to apply lipstick to my lips.
shade names on the side
the scent: the only cons that i don't like from this product is the scent. it has this chemical/fake plastic scent which is quite strong when you first open the tube. but it doesn't linger when you apply it to your lips. at least it doesn't stay scented. it dissipates once you put it around your lips.
the doe foot applicator
the color: mine is in nude is the new cute and woody rosy. i have hard time differentiating both of them since many swatcher on youtube swatch them separately, not side by side. they only said that they were nude colors, very wearable. at first i only intend to buy one, but since i couldn't see which one would be better for me, i picked them both. turns out the "nude is the new cute" is a peachy nude, with a hint of brown color. while the woody rosy is slightly pink/mauvey nude. both looks similar after being applied to my lips, but it's quite different if you see the arm swatch.
arm swatch (you can see that the nude is the new cute is slightly peachy and the woody rosy is pinkier)
the result: the color is pretty opaque. i only need one swipe for bottom lips and another one for upper lips. and it covers my lip color perfectly. it will be better if you use lip liner underneath, but since i don't have any, i just use them or i put them on top of my driest liquid lipstick to bring my lips from the death. it's quite moisturizing. in fact, i like to use it on top of dead matte liquid lipstick so my lips look a bit juicy. but, as usual, the glossy lip products make the liquid lipstick underneath fades faster. but i don't mind it. it's also a bit sticky, but nothing too crazy.
nude is the new cute

woody rosy
top: full face
bottom: arm swatch and lip swatch
i'm satisfied with both colors, although if you don't like nudes or bored with nudes, there are other shades to try. essence is very affordable so it won't break your wallet if you buy more than one. it has nude to red to dark color, you can pick anything you like. as for me, it's quite bothersome to go to singapore for buying this as no online shop sells this one. some are offering open preorder but for the mad for matte. if get bored with matte lipstick and don't mind with the scent (it might offend those who have sensitive nose), then you should try it.
i was in singapore last christmas and i decided to get some mask set for myself. i intended to get origins mask set or fresh one, but the fresh one is too expensive and the origins is nowhere to be seen at sephora, so i decided to get the pixi one. and i almost immediately regret that decision since the mask is so small! oh well.. i've tried the glow mud mask first, of course, and this is the second one i tried. so let's see.

this is the description from their website: detoxifying peel-off mask draws out impurities and lifts away oil to reveal immediate results. it contains a unique green superfood blend that includes avocado, cucumber, aloe, green tea and bamboo extract to help firm & refine. great for congested dull and tired skin.
the packaging
description at the back
the packaging: it comes in a cardboard box with description at the back. inside there's a plastic slider where all three masks are placed inside. the mask is in a light green plastic tube with screw cap. at the back of the tube is another description. there's aluminium sealing on the opening of the tube. it's a little squeeze tube. let me tell you that the sample is small. it's only 15 ml, half the size of origins mask set, which i later found, so i was kind of irritated by that fact.
all the mask inside
ingredients list
the scent: oh well, i don't know that pixi products is scented. and i thought this will smell just okay or maybe weird, but turns out i was wrong. it has a nice floral scent, not too overwhelming. a bit relaxing even.
the t-zone peel-off mask
the product: it's a light green, like jade, gel cream mask that's easy to spread out. it feels cooling at first and it's dried out after 10-15 minutes. okay, the instruction is a bit misleading. it's said to spread this thickly, but i apply it too thick on my forehead on my first try, and it won't dried out. i have problems peeling it off, so second try, i spread it thinly.
the sealing inside
the result: after spreading it thinly and it's dried out completely, it's easy to peel it off and it doesn't hurt at all. my skin feels soft and smooth afterward. my pores look clean, but there's no blackhead or whatsoever poking out from the surface of the peeled off mask. not that it's supposed to do that though. i can feel my skin a bit tight after that, but not too much.
left: before
middle: mask on t-zone only
right: after
honestly, it works okay, but compared to the other two, this one falls short. i don't reach for it as much as i reach for the other masks. this is somehow not fit into my routine. if i want to do pore cleaning, i usually reach for the mud mask or clay mask. so, definitely won't buy the full size. but if you like pixi and their masks, you could try. if you have dry skin, you might not like this. but if you have problem with pores and oily skin, you might like it. now, from price point, the full size is only 45 ml and it costs really expensive. so, for me, i don't think i will buy the full size. if you really like pixi, you could buy it. but if you don't or if you're on tight budget, there's another option out there.
if you've read my previous post, you might know that i've been interested in trying huxley products, but since it's quite pricey, i can't jump in buying full size. luckily, there's an online shop that sells their deluxe set. it offers 4 huxley essences/oils in a box. i've tried their grab water essence and i like it, so i'm excited to see whether the other essence works as well or not. i was curious about their oil-like essence and their bright essence, but i decided to try the brightly ever after first. let's see whether or not this essence works for me.

this is the description from their singapore website: a concentrated brightening essence with ingredients that protect skin from polluted environments and stress. it delivers a refined, bright, and radiant look.
key ingredients:
- cactus extract/ prickly pear seed oil: moisturizes skin/ antioxidant.
- niacinamide : brightens skin
- odeetoxTM : inhibits melanin/ antioxidant/ anti-pollution
- glutathione : improves skin tone/ detoxifies skin
- bisabolol : brightens/ soothes skin.

the deluxe sample set
description at the back
the packaging: since i bought this in deluxe sample set, it comes in a transparent plastic box. there's a bit description at the back but everything is in korean. and it's written in white text, so it's hard to read it using translator apps. inside, there's a separator that holds all the 4 sample bottles. each bottle is made of glass (i thought it's made of fiberglass, but i dropped the bright essence and it's broken.. i have broken glass on my bathroom floor. luckily, it's only chipped at the bottom, no cracking to the inside). and since it's made of glass, it's quite heavy. it has dropper attached to the cap, similar to the grab water one. the bottle is transparent, but since the essence is milky white, the bottle seems to be white too. the dropper works okay, but since the essence is quite thick, it's hard to use the dropper to pick the essence out.
all the essences/oils
the scent: okay, it's supposed to have the same scent as the grab water one, but i don't know.. i think it has slightly different scent. this smells more floral than the grab water. there's no fresh scent that i could smell from the grab water. and i don't like this one. it's too fragrance for my taste. the grab water is okay because it has this mix of fresh scent into it, but this one is straight floral in my opinion. but don't get me wrong, it's still subtle, it won't linger for a long time.
the brightly ever after essence
the product: as i've mentioned, the essence is a milky white and has thicker consistency that grab water. the grab water changes into watery traces once it's spread out to my skin. this one although it's thick, it's still easy to spread out. but it takes some time to be absorbed, not fast enough as the grab water one. a bit sticky feeling afterward too. i use three drops for my entire face. oh, and i managed to use the dropper by pushing it for a few second before getting it out of the bottle and i will manage to get one drop of essence. it has the same quantity as the grab water, which is 5 ml.
the dropper
the result: since this one is thicker, i go through this essence faster than grab water. i use this night time daily after my kikumasamune essence. it's definitely more moisturizing than grab water so it takes quite some time to be completely absorbed. i've used this nearly to three weeks and i have to say i don't see any brightening effect. i don't see any changes in my dark spot whatever.
the essence on my hand
after spreading it out
i have to say that this one is definitely more moisturizing. i might get away with it since i only use a tiny bit night time only since i know my skin will get dried out by the air conditioner. but i don't see the other promises. no brightening, no soothing. i still have some redness on my cheek. oh well, not all products might work for me. this is just one of them. that being said, i clearly won't purchase the full size. but if you live in high-pollution area and have dry skin, this might be something that you might want to try. or you want to try non-vitamin c brightening essence. or you just love huxley. as for me, i will move on to the next sample before deciding which one to get in full size but this definitely not in the "may repurchase" list.
last time in japan, i was bored with the selection of sheet mask. i bought the remaining lululun mask that i haven't tried and saborino mask pack, but nothing else attracts me. but i want to try something new, so i decided to try another kose mask, this time it's their premium one. my sister in law bought this last year, but she said it has weird jelly essence and she didn't like it. that's why i was hesitant to buy it at first. but i saw this mask on @ohmyglossblog instagram and she likes it, so i think it's worth to try.

this is the description from their website: for more precise skin cleansing using a sheet mask. recommended for controlling dryness. recommended for use when more moisture/ greater elasticity, improved makeup hold for when you need it most, speedy special skin care, skin maintenance, relaxing skin care time. a beauty serum formulated with a high concentration of beautifying components & ultra-rich jelly serum. premium skin care mask for special occasions. a high concentration gel type beauty serum with a deep penetrating feeling with a rich blend of carefully selected beautifying components. for hydration that goes a level deeper providing trustworthy delivery for your skin. formulation: coenzyme q10, royal jelly extract, argan oil, glycerin.
hyaluronic acid: for better than ever hydration. you'll notice soft, radiant skin the next day. 3 times the concentration of hyaluronic acid.
the enhanced moisturization clears the fine lines caused by dryness. an all-in-one type with six actions per sheet. complete skin care in one specially formulated sheet. your skin will feel energized from the inside out and bouncing with youthful elasticity. soft skin from sheets made with 100% plant extract. the raw material for the pulp is 100% cellulose (the main component of plant cell walls). hygienic impurity-free sheets. the rich gel beauty serum packs every corner of your skin with concentrated moisture. the weakly acidic formulation does not contain mineral oil, paraben, tar-based dyes, or ethanol to provide gentle care for your skin. the soothing and subtle floral fragrance turns your skin moisturization routine into a moment of luxury.

the packaging: i bought this in a box of 4 masks. both the box and the individual packaging has the same design. it has a picture of a woman using a sheet mask that is the same for every kose masks. it also has a picture of what seems to be royal jelly in a glass. the design of each type of premium mask is the same, the difference is the background color. for hyaluronic acid, it has red-pink background. at the back there's description but as usual, everything is in japanese.
the packaging
the scent: as described above, you can see that this mask contains fragrance. even a special one. it has various scent mixed. for my amateur nose, i can smell subtle floral with a musky hint. on their website you can see it has top note, middle and end not of the scent, which i completely have no idea of.

the product: the mask is a thick and has this gauze pattern on it. perhaps because it's made of cellulose. it's a bit stiff. and the essence is truly has jelly texture. literally like putting jelly on top of my face. it's light gold in color. the mask has too many slits and useless bottom eye flap. but apparently some people like them. oh well. this mask doesn't adhere well because of the jelly essence that creeps out underneath it. and it's also has a light yellow gold tinge on the mask because of the jelly essence.
left: before
middle: mask on
right: after
the result: i use it for about 15-20 minutes just as instructed and it's really moisturizing. it leaves sticky feeling afterward, just like putting honey on my face. but it is very moisturizing as promised. my face looks glowy. i also don't have any problem putting my next step after using this mask. no pilling up whatever.

honestly, this feels too rich for my skin. usually i will use mask longer than the instruction, but this one, i can't seem to stand another minute and i take it off immediately after using this for 15-20 minutes. i think it will be great for someone with dry skin. or you like royal jelly much. or you're like me, eager to try something new. but if you have super oily or oily skin or maybe just combination skin, i suggest buy singles, don't buy a box of it. i honestly forgot how much is this mask, but everything from japan seems to be affordable, so i think this one too. as for availability, i think you can get this everywhere in japan's drugstores, and maybe online. but here, i can't seem to find or see online shop selling this type. recently, kose is being sold here at watson, officially, so i think maybe i could find this at stores soon. but for this type, i won't repurchase.
last time i went to japan, i managed to get all the other variation from lululun new line, the plus line that i couldn't get before. last time, i bought four types of their weekly face mask line and leaving only sweet drop which i couldn't find anywhere. so, this is the last variation from this line that i finally got to try. so let's see how it works.

this is the description from their US website: lovely moisturizing - blend of manuka honey from france. the honey in this mask was harvested from the manuka, which means "tree of healing" in the maori language. the honey's hydrating effects protect the skin from winter dryness, creating an irresistible youthful and loveable skin appearance.
honey from the "healing tree". the honey in this mask is manuka honey from the manuka tree or "healing tree" in the maori language of new zealand. as a moisturizing ingredient to protect your skin from the effects of drying, manuka honey, has been used and loved as a luxury skin care ingredient since ancient times.
contains apricot seed oil. apricot seed oil is rich in oleic acid. oleic acid is a major component (40%) of human sebum, it is a natural party of healthy skin and covers the skin in a thin protective veil to keep in essential moisture.
avocado, the world's most nutritious fruit. blended avocado oil extracted from the seeds of avocados are guinness certified as "the world's most nutritious fruit". hyaluronic acid, collagen, and unimoist are luxuriously blended as moisturizing ingredients.

the packaging: it comes in regular rectangular sachet that has color coordinated to its type. for the sweet drop, it's yellow. it has picture of dripping honey at front so you get the idea that this might contain honey-related ingredients. at the back there's a lot of text but everything is in japanese, so no telling what it's about.
the packaging
the scent: i thought it would smell like papa recipe, which also has honey in its ingredient. but i'm wrong. it has this subtle floral scent, but not overwhelming. i like it.

the product: the mask is the same as the other mask in this line. the mask is thicker than regular lululun, but it's still soft and stretchy a bit. it adheres well to my skin. the fit is okay for me even though it doesn't have any slit. but it has these weird eye slits on my inner eyes which i hope they change it. when i try to put it on my nose bridge, the slit would get into my eyes sometimes and i have to lift it up so my nose bridge doesn't get the essence. super annoying. it has enough clear essence soaked into the mask and it's quite generous, but nothing left in the sachet. the mask is slippery at first, but as time goes by, it doesn't budge.
left: before
middle: mask on
right: after
the result: i put this on my face for about 30 minutes and afterward i can feel my face is moisturized. i don't see any brightening effect. this is really moisturizing, probably the most moisturizing out of lululun masks so far that i've tried. it leaves a bit sticky feeling but it doesn't make my other skin care steps to pile on top of this one.

honestly, this is a good one. even though this is not targeted for dry skin or aging skin, but it's moisturizing that i think even dry skin could like this. i do think all skin types can try this but if you don't like thick mask, then you should try taiwanese masks and not this one. as for the price, i think all lululun masks are affordable but the weekly one is more pricey than their usual pack masks. as for availability, it's easily to get in japan and online, but here in indonesia, there is not so many seller that sells this mask. and when they do, it's not that affordable anymore. so, i won't repurchase unless i go to japan myself.
i think it was around last year eid holiday that i noticed that miniso indonesia was finally offer makeup products at their store. i've heard that miniso sell makeup products, but the closest store to try was in singapore. at that time, there's no makeup product being sold at miniso indonesia. so when i saw them, i was excited to try them as they're cheap, but thinking about it now, it's not super duper cheap, but still is affordable. since i don't want to risk my skin, i don't buy complexion products. i decided to buy eyebrow products since i'm going through them quickly. i bought and already reviewed their 3 in 1 eyebrow pencil and powder, and this one, is a 3 in 1 but eyeliner and eyebrow pencil one. so let's see whether it's good or not.

this is the description at the back of the packaging: double tip design. fine and comfortable tip. easy application. long lasting formula. for striking eyes and beautiful eyebrows.

the product: it comes with a cardboard backing encased in a hard plastic cover. at front you can see the picture of what this product consists of. for this one, it's eyebrow pencil, eyeliner and eyebrow brush. and they also stated the shade at front. for this one, i bought the shade "brown" as i think it will suit my hair when i dye it with my favorite hair dye. at the back, there's description and ingredients list at the back. and if you're curious, although miniso is a japan brand, this eyebrow products are manufactured in china.
the pen
the pencil tip
the color: there are basically only two shade, brown and black. the black one is basically grey and goes well with black hair. and the brown shade is quite mischieving. i thought as this is an eyebrow and eyeliner combo, i thought it would be brown eyeliner and brown eyebrow pencil. turns out it's a brown eyebrow pencil but a black eyeliner! and the brown shade has reddish tone which goes well  with my newly-dyed hair.

the spoolie
the eyeliner
the product and result: as stated, it has three parts. it comes in a pen shape, black body and gold cap at both ends. it doesn't look like cheap products thanks to the gold cap. the eyeliner pencil is small and has round tip, but it's creamy so it's easily blunt. and after it's blunt, it's a bit hard to draw hairlike strokes with the pencil. you have to twist the midshaft to expose the spoolie. it's quite awkward since usually most brand put the spoolie at the other end so you can hold it comfortably. since it's placed midshaft, you can only hold it by the tip, which is also where the eyebrow pencil is placed. the spoolie is also quite slim and scratchy. i like the spoolie on the other eyebrow product better since it's more bushy. this one is super scratchy. on the other end is the eyeliner. the eyeliner is a felt tip eyeliner and quite sharp. at first when i swatched it, it bleeds and it worries me that it might bleed on my eyes as well. but when i finally try it on my eyes, it doesn't bleed. i can draw my eyeliner easily. although i can't draw very thin stroked since this has felt tip. it's super black. not super matte but not that glossy either. the lasting power is decent. it works as well as my usual japan eyeliner.

swatch on my hand: left is the eyeliner, right is the eyebrow pencil
top: before
bottom: eyebrow on
i do like the eyeliner tip as it works well, it's beginner friendly as well. but i don't like the spoolie and the eyebrow pencil. i like the other type better, the one that has slanted tip and bushy spoolie. the shade is great for my current hair color. but if you have dark brown hair, you might not like this as this has reddish undertone. i think if you have red-brown hair, this will suit you better. and the pencil is not easy to draw with if you like hairlike strokes. but it works okay if you don't have specific way to draw your eyebrow. if i have to pick, i will get the other eyebrow combo and just buy their eyeliner. as for the price, i thought it's quite affordable, but then i remember la girl eyebrow pencil which is half the price of this eyebrow product. so, if you go through eyebrow pencil super quick, then la girl might be your better choice then this one. i do think this is a good product for travelling as it has eyebrow and spoolie and eyeliner in one pen. but for daily use, i think i won't repurchase this one.
